Overview
One seriously relaxing catamaran cruise packs in two snorkeling stops on this tour to Icacos Cay, an uninhabited nature reserve surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. An onboard bar, buffet lunch, snorkeling equipment, and upgrade for hotel pickup from San Juan create the ultimate day of fun in the sun, without taking you too far from Puerto Rico’s shores.
What to Expect
Begin your tour with hotel pickup from San Juan (if upgrade was selected at booking) or make your way to Puerto del Rey Marina to meet your guide and board your catamaran. Set sail past stunning coastline featuring views of El Yunque National Forest and untouched coastline en route to the uninhabited island of Cayo Icacos.
Spend free time swimming, snorkeling with the provided gear, and sunbathing on the private island reserve before enjoying a buffet lunch back on board that includes sandwiches, salads, and snacks. Beverages—like piña colades, rum punch, soft drinks, and juice—are also served. Then, continue to your second reef of the day for another round of snorkeling with chances to see animals like rays, octopi, and tropical fish. Return to your original departure point at the Puerto del Rey Marina or your San Juan hotel at the end of the tour.
Note: The exact route is weather dependent. Similar locations like Palominitos might be substituted for safety.

Great fun but over crowded

The catamaran was a lot of fun. We were 8 folks ranging from 4 to 68 yrs. We loaded up on the marina, went out to an island for some basic snorkeling and spending time on a beach. The island wasn’t deserted but wasn’t busy...More

Let me first say that the crew was great, well organized and attentive. We got picked up which was prompt but SUPER early! Make sure you call to confirm two days before trip - we were first pick up at 7AM sharp for a 9:30...More

Not worth it

If you are into drinking and staying on the catamaran, this is for you. The alcohol flows freely and there were a few that got their "sea legs" by finishing the bottle of rum. If you want to spend a nice day doing things, this...More

Fun but crowded and overpriced if you don’t drink

My two teenage girls and I booked this trip over our spring break. It was very well organized, except for the parking, which was offsite and close, but the directions were not great. The trip was from 9-3, and the catamaran was packed. I would...More

Great relaxing and fun day!!

Pick up from Old San Juan was prompt and convenient. We took a small bus to the cruise terminal where we each got sorted to our boats. After a 2030 minute boat ride, we arrived at the small island off the east coast. Anchored near...More

Yes! They have beer for purchase or they have different rum type of drinks that’s open bar. They have rum punch, pina coladas, and a few other rum type drinks!
