- GrandTour237979477920 contributionsGreat fun in ParadiseExcellent tour. Sugar (Susan) and Phillip were knowledgeable as guide and driver. It's a beautiful estate and we learned a lot about Jamaica and making rum. Definitely recommend this tour!!!Written 27 January 2025
- lvaneperen0 contributionsCruise, drink, eat, and be merry! We had the best time! Our party of 6 enjoyed a fun little party cruise over to Booby Cay, and did the 3:30 lunch. We had the garlic and butter crab with veg! So very delicious, and then a fun cruise back complete with music and dancing! Super fun and friendly crew also. We HIGHLY recommend!Written 25 January 2025
- Kathie S0 contributions5 STAR EXCURSION!5 STAR excursion! Four of us went yesterday and had a fantastic day. Andrew and his 1st mate picked us up on the beach at our AirBnB. The guys were super, the boat ride fun and we had all the rum punch and Red Stripe you could drink. Getting on and off the boat was a little tricky, but they took very good care of everyone. We arrived on the island and were greeted by Chef Jammy! Incredible chef and delightful. Watching him prepare our meals was like having a master cooking class! He prepared grilled lobster, garlicky crab, shrimp curry and grilled shrimp. It was amazing! Everyone we encountered was super friendly. Our friends are staying longer than us and plan to go again!Written 25 January 2025

- R8821FJsharone0 contributionsDunn River Falls / VIP Bamboo Beach TourMs. Shantel was our tour guide and Shamaar our bus driver. Shantel made our bus ride experience fun, entertaining, knowledgeable and very rewarding. You can tell she enjoys sharing her passion for Jamaica's history. She taught us some Jamicain words and played games as we traveled to our stops. Shamaar was very courteous and an awesome driver. He got us to our destination and back to the Carnival ship safely and on time! We truly enjoyed both of thier professionalism and hospitality!Written 8 January 2025
- O9182FHmarks0 contributionsPersonal Cook Recommendation: Taneice, Port Antonio, JamaicaPort Antonia a a beautiful area of Jamaica, and not overrun by tourists. Winifred Beach, rafting on the Rio Grande, and the waterfalls up in the mountains are our favorite things to do. We stay at Goblin Hills Villas overlooking San San Beach when we come. It is a beautiful small resort outside of Port Antonio, incredibly landscaped and very reasonably priced. You may choose to engage a personal cook when you stay. I strongly recommend Taneise. She is an amazing cook, and a very pleasant wonderful person. She took us shopping in Port Antonio, which was a delightful adventure in its own right, and cooked all week for us. She also handles cleaning. We absolutely loved her. If you'd like to have Tanice as your personal chef, you can reach her on WhatsApp at 1 (876) 351-5592. Please note that cooks, like most service workers in Jamaica, depend on tips. Service jobs in Jamaica are often paid little to nothing--they just provide an opportunity to earn tips. Please be generous.Written 14 December 2024
- dtdillon10 contributionsThe Most Fun We've Had in a While!!Wow! This was the MOST FUN we've had in a while! The day started off a bit rainy which kept many away, and there was no cruise ship docked in Ocho Rios, so we nearly had the entire place to ourselves! We opted for the $159.00 gold package which basically gave us access to everything, including unlimited rides. We also went ziplining, which was a ball! We had the fried chicken sandwich for lunch, and it was delicious! The staffers we met were extremely helpful and very friendly, always smiling and willing to help with whatever we needed. I most loved the Jamaican Bobsled Ride. If it's not too busy and you have the guts, ask the operator to set your sled on what they call the Red Bull" setting and then NEVER apply the brakes! You will not believe how fast that baby will travel! Our only regret was when we had to leave because they were closing! Highly recommended!Written 10 December 2024
- KristiReading2300 contributionsAwesome Trip!We had a wonderful afternoon on the Martha Brae with our tour guide Frank. It was a blast. I definitely recommend this tour. We did it as an excursion with Royal Caribbean and it didn't disappoint. We saw wildlife including lots of different birds and cranes, a Cow and her baby, lots of neat flowers and it was just a really nice tour. There were very hard rains the day prior to our tour, so the river was a little mucky, but it was still amazing!Written 23 November 2024

- Jb4y0 contributionsAmazing view and fun rideMy husband, daughter and I did this excursion when we visited Ocho Rios, Jamaica on August 27, 2024. We purchased our excursion through Carnival. When we came off the cruise ship a tour rep was waiting outside, he greeted us and placed wristbands on our wrist then put us on the bus. The bus ride to Mystic Mountain took 5 minutes. When we arrived, a lady at the entrance greeted us and directed us to the sky explorer lift (chair lift) The guys made sure were secured in the chair lift. The lift took 25 minutes to get to the top of the mountain. The view on the way up (700 feet) was so amazing. On the left side was the view of the north shore and on the right was the view of the rainforest. When we got to the top of the mountain a nice lady greeted us, checked our wristbands and directed us to the bobsled. We also rented a locker for $6. The locker was big enough to store our beach bag and back pack. The bobsled ride was so much fun, they can go really fast. We only wished that the ride was longer or that we could have gone twice on the bobsled. Local food, burgers and drinks were available for purchase. We had access to the infinity edge pool and the water slide. Overall this excursion was fun and worth it. We would definitely do the bobsled again and recommend it to family and friends.Written 1 October 2024

- E7734TVdominiquem0 contributions100/10I had a great time. Not only was this excursion entertaining but informative. I highly recommend this tour to ppl that handle a few jump scares. If not, the regular day tour will suffice. Me and my partner had a really good experience, the tour was about an hour long and it was just the two of us plus the tour guide which made it even more creepy but personable. We learned about the precious owners of the plantation and the houses history- such a great time. I have recommended this tour to most of my family members and I will definitely be back for a second tour. This time I won't be so scared since I'll know what's coming. The gift shop is so cute and the staff are so kind!Written 27 September 2024
- Venture628851129410 contributionsFun, but was ruined by additional costs.Although the activities themselves were good, the communication was awful and to be fair there are a few points that tarnished the trip. Firstly they don't tell you that you need $20 US for lockers, as you can't take backpacks or stuff on the activities. Also on each activity you have different guides and in total there were 16 guides, all who want tips. I know they are sort of optional, but it is a bit in your face. Also at lunch you are only offered tap water free with your meal, anything else you have to pay for. Not what I expect when paying $488 dollars for the both of us. The ATVs in my opinion aren't very well maintained and several of them had insufficient brakes. Overall fun, but could be better. The communication of what we were doing, what we needed to wear and when was lacking.Written 27 September 2024
- trvlnut210 contributionsBeware the White WitchOMG is about all you can say! My wife and I and our friends were staying at Sandals, this was a “must do” as far ad I was concerned. We did tour, got to the dungeon where we go to partake in the witches brew cocktail. Had a ball. Bought the photo. Great timeWritten 20 September 2024
