About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- R7670BIjims0 contributionsTake This Private Tour in BonaireRuby was amazing as our tour guide. She was very friendly and very informative. The tour was a relaxed tour of the whole island (north and south ends). We never felt rushed and spent a lot of time viewing the sea turtles and fish at the 1000 steps site. Please request Ruby as she made this tour for us. This tour company was a lifesaver for us as we were stiffed by the private tour company operator that we had originally reserved with. This company tried to reach the operator and when it was apparent that they were not going to show, stepped up to provide a private tour for us. We are very grateful for them to going above and beyond expectations for us.Written 31 January 2025
- TKMags0 contributionsGood Intro to BonaireGood overall introduction to Bonaire. Our guide ( Harrison) was great and gave us enough history of the island. We would recommend this excursion.Written 14 January 2025

- K8030POdianak0 contributionsFun experienceIt was a lovely tour, very informative. We felt very safe. It was a fun experience for all of us. We were going to stop at a beach on the way home, but we didn't...and it wasn't well communicated so we hadn't brought beach wear.Written 12 May 2023
- njvacationjunky0 contributionsNice way to see Bonaire and learn about the culture. This was a wonderful and informative tour of Bonaire. Our tour guide, Sandra, was very knowledgeable of all things Bonaire; she was extremely pleasant to listen to and also very funny, which made the tour even more enjoyable. We visited the salt processing area of the island, which was very interesting, and got to bring home a sample of the salt. We learned much about the flora and fauna of Bonaire and had to stop the bus for 4 donkeys standing in the road! We also stopped at a local museum that had a house that you could walk through to see what life was like in Bonaire. What an interesting island. This was a 3 hour tour and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see and learn about Bonaire.Written 6 May 2023

- loreannec20210 contributionsVery niceI went there in February after the Carnival Cruise people force us to split our group cause they were deceiving to get people to cruise. Anyhow. We found them right off the cruise port. It was $25 per person the tour guide was shy but very very knowledgeable. I wish I remember his name. Because, one on one he was very nice and answered all the questions. The tour was the south side of the island. I personally loved it. The reason I’m just giving this review is because I just found what I thought I lost the info to give the review to the right company.Written 10 July 2022
- AmyMike_40 contributionsFun day - great guideAngelica was our awesome driver/guide! She was super fun and engaging! She shared her island's history and unique sites including the salt flats and the white houses. We saw lots of flamingos, donkeys and even a local dog! We highly recommend this shorter tour if you want time to hang out in town for shopping and drinks/food after the tour. They offer a longer tour that goes North, so we'll check that out next visit!! Thanks again, Angelica!Written 12 April 2022
- 837robertk0 contributionsBest tours on the islandBest tour I ever had. Compared to tours I had in Aruba and Curacao, no match! I was on my own and I took the tour expecting the same bad experience I had had on other islands. To my surprise, the tour was very interesting as the guide was very professional. The bus air-conditioned and very comfortable. All the staff very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend you this company for a tour in Bonaire.Written 7 February 2020
- 576karen0 contributionsWe were expecting a big yellow busThe big yellow touring bus was so prominent in the advertisement on Trip Advisor. My group was looking forward to a tour on a large air conditioned bus, given we had several days of very warm humid weather. I was worried when we arrived at the meeting place and there was no big yellow bus. However, everything worked out fine. There were 4 of us, and we had a private tour in a SUV. The vehicle did hold the 4 of us plus driver comfortably, and the air conditioning was fine. The fact that it was a private tour was actually an advantage. The driver tailored the tour to our available time and got us back to the cruise ship on time. He also allowed us a longer stop to see the flamingos and pulled over and let us out any time we wanted to take pictures. He spoke English well, and he gave us a nice tour. We had lots of questions for him, which he was able to answer.Written 5 July 2019
- David W0 contributionsGreat tour loved 'emWe took the tour in January as part of our cruise stop and had a great time. Our tour guide was the lovely Minut. She was so nice and so knowledgable. We had a special tour that involved geocaching and they took care of our group very well. Would highly recommend their service. They are friendly, attentive, know their stuff and very keen on the island adventure and ensuring customer satisfaction.Written 19 February 2019
- Pookie06210 contributionsExcellent Tour of Bonaire! This was overall a very fun and informative tour of the island. The tour started in the south and included the salt flats and the slave huts. The second half we headed to the north part of the island including a stop at 1000 steps dive site and Rincon at a little farm and flamingos at the lake!!!! . So much information and history. Our guide and bus driver were great. Explanations were easy to understand. They knew their stuff. They are able to accommodate several languages. Bus was comfortable and air conditioned. Very professional. Would highly recommend this experience and this company.Written 24 January 2019

The three hour island tour surpassed all if my expectations. The guide Sharon provided all the English/ American/ Canadian tourists with all the essential information. The tour stopped at all the key places..we saw the iconic pink flamingos, the salt mines, amazing beaches and slave huts. Sharon' s knowledge of the island was amazing. She was passionate about nature and provided us with many facts about the local wild life, trees and she knew the location of the turtles and pink flamingos. The timing of each key sight was perfect and the three hour excursion ended right on time. The driver was very safe and the coach was spotless. This 3 hour extravaganza was excellent value for money and the beauty of this island was captured in the three hour duration.

This company is truly professional. They had to cancel my tour for some reason and asked if I could reschedule for the following day. Unfortunately I was just passing Bonaire and the day I had scheduled was the only day I could do it. Rather than just saying “sorry” and refunding my money, they went above and beyond to ensure I was able to see the island’s highlights — from the salt flats and slave huts to spectacular Sorobon Beach. I felt like I saw everything that would have been on the original tour, if not more, as I learned of many amazing dive sites and saw plenty of wild flamingos and donkeys on the route. Oliver was a knowledgeable and fun guide who left no questions unanswered regarding Bonaire’s rich history, culture, and geography. This tour only made me want to return to Bonaire with much more time to enjoy it. Thank you leaving a very favorable impression of your beautiful island and people.

My friends and I, from the Royal Caribbean, truly enjoyed this Bus Tour that gave essential history and toured the whole Island, even to the Rincon, Chichitan Museo. i was surprised that so much ground was covered and there is still more. the 1,000 steps to a gorgeous beach, and other points were heavily covered. you have to love this tour. Excellent for the price also. They work hard, so we left the operators a tip. The Driver was sensational.

We arrived in Bonaire with no definite plans but just outside the port we were greeted by the lovely Angelica, she was amazing and told us what we could expect from the tour and both Angelica and the driver delivered. We made several stops and weren’t rushed at any of them and Angelica shared the information in a clear way and she has a completely engaging personality.
We visited at the end of March 2022 and would highly recommend this company.

Tour was very good in some aspects but not so in others. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and great audio communication. Bus transport was not -the seats were so close to each other, one could not feel comfortable. We travelled over most of the island: saw the salt flats( very interesting), slave huts, museum; but we never stopped anywhere near the flamingos!

We did this tour when we stopped in port while on a cruise. We travelled to the salt ponds and stopped at a place with a partially demolished building near where the salt is loaded onto ships. We weren’t given many details about the site. We then travelled to two locations that had the Slave huts. Those stops were interesting. After that, we drove around the end of the island and the driver commented about the sparsely populated and fairly desolate places that we passed.
The tour lasted about two hours and was just okay.
Of the five islands that we visited on this trip, this was our least favorite stop.

I've visited both sister islands, Aruba & Curacao, so I wasn't sure how much of this tour would be similar. Once my shuttle dropped me off at the ticketing check-in, I was delighted to learn that my essentials tour was bumped up to the full island tour because of how many people from the cruise ship were there for the full tour.
This definitely amplified my experience, because otherwise I would've never seen Ricon and gotten to shop the market!
The tour guide, Sandra was super witty and her storytelling skills are top-notch. Toward the end of the tour, the driver confirmed if I had a preference for where I would like to be dropped off and I was met with a personal shuttle back to my hotel.
I'm so happy I made the time to do this and would highly recommend it!

Outstanding tour. Comfortable bus, and a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide. Angelica knows Bonaire very well and explained everything that we saw, and answered all of our questions. Great experience! If I get back to Bonaire, this is the first firm that I will contact.

We went to Bonaire as a short port of call from a cruise ship. We had no plans. We were politely greeted by a lady from this company who, offered us a tour for 1 1/2 hours in an air conditioned bus. We took it and were very glad. Our guide was Gian Carlo who was terrific. We were able to see the salt processing, slave houses, flamingoes and more flamingoes, a lighthouse and some of the city. The bus was comfortable. We actually toured for almost two hours and returned to the port with time for shopping and some sightseeing on foot.

Dear all,
I'm traveling with an 18 months baby and I would like to know how can I add him to get the tickets. There is only option for children between 2 and 6 years but nothing less than 2 years old.
Thanks in advance

`My wife & I arrive on the cruise ship Insignia @ 7AM on Friday, August 2. Departure time is 1 PM. We would like a private tour if possible with an itinerary of salt flats, slave qters, Rincon museum, Goto Lake flamingos, & Cadushy distillery. Do you offer such a tour? Please cite "all in" cost for the two of us & any other material information.
Thank you,
Joe

We booked Bonaire Essentials through Viator, and our group ended up at 4 couples. We were put in a mininvan, and with the heat, and the bodies, it just couldn't keep up the coolness. Our driver/guide kinda mumbled, and my wife, who was sitting in front with him, had to repeat much of what he said so the rest of us could hear. A lot of the time we drove in silence, unless there was something he wanted us to see, like the grocery store, or the gas station. We covered the salt flats, slave quarters, on out to Rincon, along the coast, but it was ALMOST a total bust for us. We talked to the "Tour Operators" when we returned, and their position was he is shy, doesn't really speak English, etc., a lot of excuses that unfortunately could have been handled way much earlier. I got the feeling the company is relatively new, and is experiencing some growing (up) pains. As for private tour, not sure, but I would make sure that you ABSOLUTELY make clear what you want.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
