About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- L4761IBdavidh0 contributionsBeautiful historical and cultural tourExcellent way to see the whole island and get its history and culture. Takes a bit of endurance with the rough roads on the western side, but we stopped at some very interesting places that broke up the drive.Written 13 November 2024
- 107leoe0 contributionsViews are beautiful and The guide Cindy was excellent!!!Get to know the Island in 6 hours!!! Travels around the coastal roads with views that are unbelievable!!! Travel through the various communities. Learn and see the culture of the people. And when asking questions Cindy was very knowledgable!!! Lunch was amazing too!!!!!!Written 2 November 2024
- Y9845JVricharde0 contributionsGreat tour! Ricky is awesome! We did a slightly shorter version of this tour without the lunch and the whole experience was brilliant! Ricky was such a great guide and driver. He is very knowledgeable and we had the best time travelling around the island and seeing some beautiful sights.Written 20 October 2024
- Courtman1120 contributionsA Memorable Barbados Adventure with RCR ToursI recently took the Barbados Full-Day Coast to Coast Tour with RCR Tours, and it exceeded all my expectations! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Ricky was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the island’s history and culture. We visited stunning spots on both the East and West Coasts, with breathtaking views at every turn. The tour included a visit to the ruggedly beautiful Bathsheba Beach, where we saw the iconic rock formations, and we also stopped at some hidden gems along the way that aren’t always crowded with tourists. Lunch was delicious and authentic, giving us a true taste of local Barbadian cuisine. What made the day truly special was the personal touch provided by Ricky he was professional, friendly, and ensured that everyone had a fantastic time. Whether you're a history buff or just looking to relax and enjoy the island’s beauty, this tour offers something for everyone. I highly recommend RCR Tours if you want to see the best of Barbados in one day. It’s an experience you won’t forget!Written 19 October 2024

- Navigator1924910 contributionsFabulous tour of the IslandA really great tour and we managed to see a lot of the Island and appreciate its beauty. Ricky was our guide for the day and was so informative and helpful and explained so much about the history of Barbados. We had a complimentary punch and a delicious lunch was included too. Highly recommend the tour!Written 8 October 2024
- tackeebae0 contributionsA tour to remember. 🇧🇧My tour guide was extremely nice, he was so informative about the island. He made the tour even fun . We got to stop at a few stops and take so many pictures. The price was affordable . I most definitely recommend.Written 29 August 2024

- M_Kerry_W0 contributionsInformative & fun.We were taken on an island tour by our driver Ricky during our first trip to Barbados. Ricky was great, and managed to maintain professionalism, sharing his vast historical knowledge of the island, while making us feel as though we had been friends for years. We had requested in advance that we could be returned to our hotel for a certain time in order to make a football match, and Ricky obliged to this without feeling like we missed out on any parts of the tour. The tour included traditional Bajan lunch at a locally ran restaurant, with supporting local businesses appearing to be a theme throughout the day (which is a huge positive). Would reccomend to any first time visitors to the island, or anyone who has not ventured to see the impressive north - east coast line, and any history buffs.Written 4 July 2024
- H5152PVrobertd0 contributionsTour around the islandI took the Coast to Coast tour of Barbados with RCR Tours. We circled the island in a small van. After driving through Bridgetown, we passed Rihanna's childhood home. The street was named after her in 2017. We then drove to Speightstown, the original capital of Barbados and had 15 minutes to walk around. Our next stop was Animal Flower Cave, at the northern end of the island. I took the optional walking tour inside the cave. We stopped for lunch at a cafe on the East coast. All eight of us in the van ordered the flying fish, a Bajan specialty. It was tasty. The East Coast is more rugged than the West Coast since the trade winds batter that side. There are places where swimming is too dangerous and others where surfing is good, such as Bathsheba. Our last stop was the historic St. John's Parish Church, originally built in 1645, but rebuilt most recently in 1836. It was a good way to the island.Written 29 June 2024
- Lorelei W0 contributionsDefinitely a MUST- DO!I was absolutely pleased with this particular tour. It's always the simple things that make trips as these eventful, starting with a very pleasant Driver and Guide for the day Ricky (Ricardo), who was, I must mention, on time for my pick up. Given that Barbados has that tropical climate and sweltering weather, the air-conditioned van was definitely a plus. Ricky is highly intelligent and had erudite knowledge on the history of Bdos, given specific dates, names and a breakdown on the different sites and landmarks. His attention to the group on the day was top tier, whether it be slowing down or stopping for a person to get a proper picture or a better view, engaging the group as though we've known him for years, filling the van with laughter. Another advantage for me, was that I had the opportunity to sit in the front seat giving me that first hand clear view of the beauty that is Barbados. The scenery was spectacularly out of this world. Apart from the history, the beaches, the flora and fauna, makes this country all the more breathtaking. It is noteworthy, the lunch offered to the group today was outstanding, offering a variety of dishes to choose from and very appetizing to the palate. This stop gave the group of strangers an opportunity to get to know one another, learning about other cultures and the cross cultures. The complimentary drinks were most welcomed. I definitely recommend to anyone, albeit a solo traveller, couple, family to book a 360 tour with RCR. You will not regret it. To the RCR team, thank you for offering me this experience, I go back to my country with lots of memories and wonderful photos. Lorelei ❤️Written 27 June 2024
- michellepE9214PG0 contributionsBad Experience- Not as AdvertisedWe book a private tour with RCR Tours that was supposed to include the entire itinerary of the Scenic Barbados Coast to Coast Half-Day Tour plus a visit to Harrison's Cave and an hour of shopping in Bridgetown. We confirmed on the phone with Alistair at RCR Tours TWICE that we would be able to get all of that done in the 6 hours that he said we would need to get it done. On the day of the tour, Cindy came to pick us up. Right from the start, she was aggressive, rude and yelled at us. While she did change the order of our itinerary to make sure we were not delayed at Harrison's cave, when we discussed what other sites we would visit, she said we would not be going to St. John's Church or Oistins, which we were supposed to see. When we explained that we still wanted to see those location, Cindy started yelling at us that there is not enough time to do that and that if we wanted to go to those places, we would have to cut our shopping time short or pay extra. When my friend very nicely to Cindy, "Ma'am, you are yelling", Cindy proceeded to yell louder. The aggressiveness, rudeness and yelling made us very uncomfortable. In addition, Cindy kept taking phone calls (no fewer than 8-10) and kept pointing out her husband's tour van along the way. Because we were alone with her on remote roads without many other people around, we were not in a position to speak up and voice our displeasure with how stressed and anxious the tour was making us. It was not an enjoyable experience. We didn't get to see everything we were told we would see and we ended the tour never wanting to come back to the Island. I would not recommend using this tour company.Written 3 June 2024
- KiranR6280 contributionsAn informative and fun day in paradise. We loved our Barbados Coast to Coast trip. We experienced the diversity of the island, got to see the different areas and learn about the history as well. Our guide, Antone was lovely. - Travelloveforeverwow0 contributionsHorrendous experience with Cindy/Barbara from RCR ToursMy friend and I booked a “Private” Tour which I put as private in quotes bc our tour guide and driver, Cindy (if you post good review she said) or Barbara (if you post bad review) was in complete control and it felt like it was her tour, not ours! She yelled at us, was aggressive, controlling, and made us feel exceptionally uncomfortable. She has a really bad/ nasty attitude and refused to bring us to a place to eat by the water. We literally ate NOTHING from 8am to 2pm and she didn’t care when we stayed we were hungry. We paid $236 EACH for a private tour where we would let her know where we wanted to go. She had attitude every time we told her a place we wanted to go to, even to get coffee! She acted like she was doing us a favor driving us around. She constantly got phone calls, at least 10 calls during our time with her. She was so unprofessional and I’ve never seen this type of behavior before from any private tour person before. Absolutely unacceptable. I was told after that she’s a manager?! I guess this is a family owned business? I would stay clear of RCR TOURS and stay clear of Cindy/ Barbara. She heightened anxiety and the 6 hours with her were absolutely miserable. I would save your money and go with another company 100%! Their “customer service” is also horrendous the guy Alendro who we spoke to basically blamed us and didn’t care when we said we’d put a review bc as he stated, “Your one bad review won’t ruin our rating.” He also lied the day before when we booked saying certain areas where included and then said he didn’t say it. Cindy started yelling at us literally yelling at us that the last two spots if we wanted to go to them we would have to pay extra in addition to the $236 each we already paid! She even tried to make us get out at a certain point during our tour bc she liked the spot even though we didn’t care to see the waves crashing and we wanted to see other parts. This was her tour, not ours. She was horrendous and I 100% do not recommend this “tour” company.Written 30 May 2024

This was a mixed tour with some doing one thing and others doing something different so the guide is dropping one group off and then the other at some other place, so they're constantly driving and moving one of the groups. The pottery works place is interesting, but hard to buy something if you're on a cruise to transport back home. Roads are in terrible condition, so you'll be bounced around a lot. We didn't see any of the monkeys at the Wildlife Sanctuary (damn!), but lots of turtles, small deer, peacocks, chickens and other birds. Can't tell you about the reptiles ... I don't do snakes. The meal was quite good. The split tour thingy didn't 'work' for us, but fully understand not doing a whole separate tour for only a few people after 2 years of no tours! Cindy was a very good guide!

One of the owners, Cindy, guided us around the island giving detailed commentary of local sites & lore. Our transportation was a clean & air conditioned (a must in late Aug/Sept) 6 passenger van. We visited a wildlife sanctuary to see the green monkeys, turtles and other wildlife. We also visited the Flower forest garden with an included lunch. Our final stop was the Earthworks pottery shop where we could shop for local art & pottery and view the making of their pottery. Would book with RCR tours again.

This tour gives you a real sense of the beauty, art and wildlife of Barbados. In about 6 hours, we traveled from one side of Barbados to the other, stopping at a variety of places. We visited Earthworks Pottery and saw how the pottery is made, watched the green monkeys being fed at the Wildlife Sanctuary, saw the rustic east coast and dangerous waves, and learned about the culture and history of Barbados. Our guide Cindy was very knowledgeable and she was willing to answer any question! Tour was small, so felt very private. A great experience!

This was a very special day for us - Cindy our Tour guide was - Knowledgeable, witty, entertaining and professional.
Her passion for Barbados was clear.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Without this introduction to the Island we would have missed out on seeing the island away from the hotels and bars.

This group tour covers the south, west and east coast of the island. The floral garden and wildlife sanctuary were great locations. Be prepared for monkeys all over and close. Also recommend good walking shoes as some of the locations can be slippery if wet. Great way to get acquainted with Barbados

A nice tour of the island, with some interesting stops along the way.
Vey knowledgeable tour guide who showed us around and had some cool facts about Barbados history and culture.
Fun to visit the wildlife sanctuary, where there are numerous monkeys, tortoises, variety of birds and other species wandering around.
At the pottery there was a variety of differnet shape and sizes pottery, and I ended up buying a beautiful vase and a small bowl, and also a batik painting.
The walk through the flower garden was also quite enjoyable.
Good and plentiful lunch served, with option between fish and chicken (veggie or others dietary was also an option I think).
My impression is that the tour offers a good introduction to the island.

Tour driver Ricky was great. Earthworks Pottery is a favorite for us, we loved the Flower Forest even in the pouring rain. Did now really get to see the wildlife sanctuary due to the rains. My husband went in and said it was pretty uneventful. Lunch was good and we loved the St John’s Church. Would recommend for the money. Roads are very bumpy.

Thank you for choosing RCR TOURS
We are happy you enjoyed your tour guide and 90% of your activities. As mentioned the rain was up to its tricks on your tour date .and the animals at the wild life ..thinks a 10min shower is enough ..so a few hours of rain was not on our plan nor the animals so I apologize forthe monkeys not liking to shower .
Just poking some fun I am still happy you enjoyed despite the rain .
Thank you for your review

This tour is great because you get to see the entire island. However, if you feel motion or car sickness DON’T do this one. It was closer to 6 hours from start to finish. All of the stops were amazing and the lunch was authentic and really good. My favorite was earthworks pottery because you get to see the people behind the art that’s being made. The church was the same as the e bike tour church (so be careful with overlapping tours) but it was great to see it twice.

I think they pick up at all hotels on South Coast. They were early in picking me up- at approximately 7 am, 15 minutes early and I wasn’t ready, the opposite of Island Time. But another guide came by and picked me up on another round. The tour was really enjoyable.
