About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- H9006SSmargaretl0 contributionsLoved it!Quite an enjoyable adventure! But (1) I think the preamble by the onshore representative identifying all the Aruba beaches, etc should be replaced with the submarine safety information. Most people were ignoring her, rudely continuing with their own conversations (2) We could not hearthe safety routine given enroute to the submarine due to noise from the engines & wind!Written 12 January 2025
- BeaversTravelWell0 contributionsFun ExperienceWe did this safari off our cruise ship. They picked us on time. We made four stops around the island. Willy our guide driver was pleasant and very knowledgeable. He does however need to learn some better clutch control.Written 11 January 2025

- jenlschreder0 contributionsAmazing offtoad adventureWe had the most fun on this excursion. We did ymthe off road excursion to multiple locations. We have Matthew (double t) and Rafael as our tour guide. They gave the best tour laughing and joking with all of us. They were both so knowledgeable about Aruba and the history and the sites. I can’t wait for our next trip to do this again. The ride is exciting and bumpy and just so much fun.Written 8 January 2025
- Tiffstravelling0 contributionsBaby Beach & Caves Tour Exceeded Our ExpectationsI am always skeptical of these kind of tours, but this one was well worth it. We didn’t want something too long so we settled on the 4 hour caves and Baby Beach excursion and it was the perfect length. Our tour guides Alex and Sergio deserve special recognition as the tour guides can make or break a trip. They were personable, friendly and funny! They go above and beyond to make your time special, taking many photos for you and giving some fascinating historical insight along the way. It was amazing to see the beautiful Baby Beach coupled with the rugged interior of the National Park and caves. If we are ever back in Aruba I would use De Palm Tours again and try the horseback riding, ATV’s and catamaran cruise.Written 8 January 2025
- 177ravend0 contributionsGood timeIt was fun don't let reviews discourage you. We had a good time it's just an island out in the ocean which is relaxing. It wasn't to crowded. They have a kid Waterpark/slides and a bigger water slides for adults snorkeling..etc The only thing I wish was better was food. It says chicken tenders hot dogs but it's not its only hamburgers and chicken nuggets not a fan of chicken nuggets. The other side of the island had some other food like fish and rice and stuff.Written 7 January 2025

- 465debbyw0 contributionsLate Pickup - Almost Missed Return Flight HomeSorry to say we had a miserable experience and nearly missed our return flight home. All of this was entirely preventable! First De Palm Tours assured us the pickup time 2hrs & 15 mins prior to take off would be ample - it is not! To get through the Aruba airport security and customs you need a minimum of 3 hours. Then the pick up was 20 mins late - this was the real downfall. We were the drivers 1st and only stop and not only was he extremely late but he stopped at 2 more resorts where there were no pickups - 1 he just drove through, wasting time, the other he went inside to perhaps use the restroom?? Who knows. By the time we arrived we were almost too late and spent the next hour and a half white knuckling it through the long security lines, Just a nightmare. All in all, you need RELIABLE transportation - and this was not it.Written 4 January 2025

- jonbernz180 contributionsWould never recommend this place.I would never recommend this place. The place was so crowded. We were not informed that you need a VIP pass and pay extra to enter a fenced area with beach chairs and flamingos. The regular pass beach area had beach chairs inches away from each other. No privacy at all. We didn't even get in the water, the dozens of beach chairs were facing in one direction of the water that all sunbathers were facing you. Food was lousy, school cafeterias had better food. Even employees looks like they do not want to be there. All miserable looking and nobody was smiling. The island also has a view of an industrial plant. $230.00 for 2 people was a waste of time and money plus the $40.00 taxi fare from Noord. Just go spend time on Eagle beach. We had more fun there and a great bar named Passion on the beach.Written 3 January 2025
- kristins4090 contributionsAmazing morning at the natural poolsWhat an amazing morning we had with De Palm tours and Sergio as our driver! We traveled to Arikok National park to see the natural pools. Sergio was very informative about the park and the pools and let us know exactly what to expect. The pools were absolutely magnificent and swimming in them was something that we will never forget. Sergio kept us on track and allowed us to see what we wanted to see while keeping timing in mind. He took the best pictures and videos of us in the pools - pictures we would otherwise never have been able to get. Would absolutely book this again and would request Sergio as our driver/tour guide!Written 2 January 2025

Honestly, the tour was underwhelming. The boat was gorgeous and Alex the bartender made it super fun. However, when we got dropped off at the pier by the bus that picked us up, we all just sat around for nearly 30 minutes when we could have been sailing. The sunset wasn't ideal due to all of the clouds that decided to roll in last minute, but obviously that's not in the control of DePalm Tours. Also, the majority of the sail was in the dark based on timing, so we'd probably suggest starting this sail earlier to make it more enjoyable. Overall it was a fun time, but nothing to rave about or recommend. This sunset sail tour has a lot of potential if executed properly, which is why we gave 4 stars instead of 5.

There are so many companies that do sunset catamarans in Aruba, it was hard to choose which one but I ultimately went with De Palm after a friend recommended it. I’m SO happy with my choice and would love to sail with them again!
The boat was super clean, drinks were tasty, and the bartender was so fun! Can’t remember his name, but I remember him saying he’s Dominican - hilarious guy and he made great drinks and picked good music. The hors devours were yummy, I just wish they offered more because I really enjoyed them! It’s just one small plate, so definitely plan to have a real dinner before or after (we went to taco tuesday at Lola’s after the cruise!)
I noticed that our boat seemed to sail further and for a longer time than the other boats cruising at sunset, so I really liked that at one point we were the only boat on the water. Of course, the sunset was perfect and we had a great time. Lots of “instagrammable” moments to be captured on this trip :)

The actual experience of being on this catamaran and watching the sunset was beautiful and such a wonderful evening, but I do think that there are some areas for improvement that could make this experience 5 stars.
1. Having less people on the vessel. Our catamaran was packed with people and at the beginning when we were all sitting inside the boat it felt almost claustrophobic, especially with us still being in a pandemic, it did not seem appropriate to have that number of people. We also had about 15 people standing that could not even find a spot to sit cause it was so packed. Once we could stand up it was much better, but in the beginning I was very uncomfortable with how many people were on the boat and how closely we were needing to sit near each other with pretty much no one wearing a mask.
2. Having people arrive 30 minutes early makes sense in some capacity since you do not want people to be late, but for the people that are always on-time and early, this means having to stand on a pier in line for 30 minutes doing nothing when we could have been doing something else with our time. I think 30 minutes early to check-in would make more sense if people could get on the boat early and get a cocktail or some food while they are waiting to leave the dock.
3. I understand that you all are just serving light refreshments, but with the number of people on the boat and the fact that we are in a pandemic, it would make more sense to me to have passed food so that it is easier to get access to refreshments rather than everyone having to rush into the one table in the boat to grab a plate.
Overall, the view and evening was lovely but again, I think a few improvements could make a huge difference for the overall experience to make this a 5 star experience.

This was a very nice sunset sail. The catamaran was not too crowded which was nice. Upon boarding, all passengers are asked to be seated in the lower deck until the catamaran gets out a bit, and then they can go out on deck. Note there is no seating out on deck other than on the deck itself or around the catamaran netting.
Cocktails flowed....great options...however some passengers were a tad over served and began dirty dancing, kind of offensive and glad there were no youngsters on board.
Location of pier was great as there were many dinner options within walking distance upon returning to the pier.

First of all, there were so many people booked that my husband and I couldn’t get a seat and no one seemed to care. Second, it was sooo windy that day, not that anyone has any control over the weather, you couldn’t get to take a photo without hoping you wouldn’t drop your phone in the water. They say open bar but the drinks were missing any liquor. And lastly, we’re always open for a good time but it seemed like this sunset cruise is geared for the younger crowd. The only thing we enjoyed was the music.

My husband and I did the sunset sail. It was OK. Some things that I particularly did not like were 1). The line to get checked in and then another line to get onto the boat. The entire process makes no sense. They ask that you sign a waiver before arriving via an email link. Yet when you get there you are made to stand in line again (despite already signing all necessary waivers) with people who do not have waivers. They should allow people who already signed the waiver proceed to the boat to speed up the process. 2). The boat was wayyyy too packed. They have a video on their site showing how they practice social distancing and how there is space for everyone to be seated spaced apart….yeah thats a lie. We were crammed inside like sardines. The only somewhat relief came when we were able to proceed upstairs and space out a bit. But even then there were too many people on board to really make it enjoyable. The bartender was nice. Would I do this again?? Probably not unless they changed their processes and decreased the number allowed on board. I’ve never been on board such a crowded catamaran and that’s including pre-covid times.

What better way to view the sunset than on a beautiful catamaran. The crew was great and kept the drinks flowing, and the canapés were very good. Dance competition with the other nearby ships was fun; our deejay cranked up the tunes and the disco lights once the sun went below the horizon. Met a lot of nice folks on our boat, and we will definitely do it again next time we’re back!

We booked the sunset cruise for Thursday evening the weather was bad rainy windy, things were flooding, it was unsafe & we weren’t comfortable going on the boat. The company refused to refund us!!! In our group at least a total of 30 people canceled. At least 10 was able to reschedule for next available which was Saturday evening the rest was SOL cause we were leaving. They did not accommodate at all and was very nasty about it

"This is horrible" is what a fellow passenger said as he came up to us. We all laughed heartily as he was joking. He was really saying what we both were feeling - that this was the best money we spent in Aruba, and we were having the time or our lives. The compimentary drinks flowing, music playing, dancing, great breeze, being on the water, was just about the most fun you can have. It's a must do
