Great tour with fantastic guide. Mt Fuji is stunning
Road to 5th station was closed and tour visited other local attractions. The guide Myumi was the best. She was fun and informative. Bus was immaculate and comfortable. We had stunning views of Fuji and the lake. Wonderful day thanks to Myumi and Limon tours.

Clear skies + Fujiyama + Maiyumi (Limon tour guide) = a great day out
Blessed by clear skies we had outstanding views of Fujiyama at every stop in our Fuve Lakes day trip. We missed out on the 5th Station due to previous week’s weather and a landslide. We also missed the lake cruise as it wasn’t running due to the wind across Lake Kawaguchiko. This did not detract from a lovely day out from Tokyo, extremely well marshalled by Maiyumi (big thanks), who was great fun and clear with her information. It was busy but that was to be expected due to the popularity of the location. The lunch at Fuji Highland resort was lovely and had a great view of Mount Fuji. We will remember our time for Fujiyama forever.

      Poor guide and trip program
You can take nice photo of the Fuji mountain, however whole trip is around the Fuji mountain. If you stop six time to take a photo of the Fuji and there is nothing else it is just boring. Guide is very poor - she said nothing while the whole day about Japan or just the Fuji mountain - she provide information only about rest rooms and time to be back. We had no cruise without explanation why and get nothing instead - just a free time.

The experience was amazing, even though we weren’t able to go on the boat it was still an amazing experience. Mayumi was amazing and took us other places making it up to us for what we weren’t able to do. Mayumi our guide was so kind and patient, she was amazing! The whole experience was amazing!

      Disappointed……
I made a last-minute booking for myself and my cousin to explore Kyoto. Despite leaving Osaka early at 7 am to ensure punctuality, we encountered issues upon arrival at 8:25 am due to a misleading map provided, possibly by Tripadvisor or the tour company. Unfortunately, we missed the bus, and amidst phone malfunctions and losing my wallet, I sought a refund. The company suggested additional payment for a taxi to join the tour late, which I declined. It appears a refund may not be granted. Attached are photos of the misleading map and our actual location. Future travelers should be cautious of multiple bus locations and be prepared with addresses as English assistance may be limited.

      Good tour bad tour company
The trip was good and the guide was excellent But the travel company Limon was terrible We had 2 members from the family that couldn’t not make the trip due to emergency medical situation ( surgery) and we ask to reschedule the 2 tickets we couldn’t used to other trips or other days The company had refused to do any think and claim that they can’t reschedule or refund our money We are very disappointed and sad about this situation Davidovicz Daniel

Success will always depend on the weather
Views were incredible. We could even see the base of the mountain. Hiro, our guide, said that 5th Station wasn’t open and that the waiting line for the cable car was over an hour and 20 min so those 2 activities were replaced by a visit to Oshino Hakkai and to a little “park” not far from the docks. Everything was ok except for the fact of Hiro pushing us to go into the souvenirs shops. There is some spare time they have to fill in as there is nothing else to do/see around.

      Fuji for a day!
Excellent views of Mount Fuji from multiple locations! We lucked out on the spring weather, it was very sunny and clear during our trip. The 5th station was not open to the public due to snow conditions, but our lovely guide Hiro took us to the quaint Japanese village of Oshino Hakkai, where we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and delicious food stalls. The ropeway was also so full of tourists that the line would've been 1 hr+ long, so Hiro-san instead took us to the photo-perfect Oishi Park Cafe. Smooth sailing even with the itinerary adjustments. Would highly recommend opting for the lunch buffet at the Highland Resort. Our family had a magnificent time!

The views were amazing, the tour was very well organised. I think maybe a bit too much time was spent at the boat cruise/ cable car destination, would have rather of spent more time at the park (the first destination).

Sites were great. The guide not so much.
The four sites we visited were gorgeous. Be prepared for insanely large crowds. The tour guide was very nice, but not good. We were basically driven from location to location with no background or history on the site. She didn’t have answers to questions. Also, for sites requiring tickets, would be better to have the tickets in advance rather than waiting for the guide to purchase them as there is little time.

We had a fantastic experience on this tour. The tour guide was exceptional and well-informed, fluent in both English and Japanese. Due to the inclement weather, we were unable to take the Hakone ropeway, but she quickly arranged an alternative destination for us to visit. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a restaurant close to the ropeway, with traditional Japanese-style table seating that was a first for me. I highly recommend this trip.

Fun day spent with our guide Mayoumi!
The highlight of the tour was definitely Mayoumi, she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We couldnt go to Mt Fuji as the roads were blocked apparently, however we went to a village called Oshino Hakkai, the view on Mt Fuji from there was absolutely breathtaking! The village was also really beautiful!

It was a wonderful trip to Mount Fuji with an excellent guide. Mayume-san (the guide) helped facilitate the multitude of transports (boat, ropeway, buss) and showed us the best spots to take pictures and must do! We were lucky to see Mount Fuji with a clear sky and also lucky enough to go at the 5th station of Mount Fuji. The lunch option was also delicious! I highly recommend taking the lunch plan if you can. If you go to Japan, this tour is a must, it was one of our favorite day in our trip to Japan.

Hey there! I'm Ari from LIMON Tour. Just read your review and it's awesome to hear you had such a great time! Super cool that you got along with Guide Mayumi and enjoyed the lunch too. And about Mt. Fuji – what a lucky sighting, right? That's not something you see every day, so I'm glad it made your trip even more memorable. Thanks a bunch for picking LIMON Tour. The trip was overall ok. Transport and guide were good. Scenery was nice and it was great the guide shared some interesting facts about Japanese culture and even taught us some words and characters.
We were lucky to have a relatively clear day to see the mt from afar.

The lunch was mediocre at best you are better off just finding your own lunch. Tempura and udon but everything was cold, on purpose, and the noodles are not a soup with broth poured in it’s on the side and you have to dip your cold noodles into a cold soy sauce mixture. Deep friend tempura was heavy. Also served cold.

The stop at the village in the end was pretty and hot much better views of mt Fuji.

I traveled alone first time I Jayasinghe seats on the bus, I think it’s normal in Japan though.

Mami San out Guide and driver were great everything they controlled went as scheduled.

Dear Laura, I'm also Laura from the LIMON Team! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with our Mt. Fuji 5th Station and Hakone Day Tour. We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the transportation, our guide, and the stunning scenery, along with the cultural insights provided. We appreciate your feedback regarding the lunch. Cold soba noodles served with a dipping sauce is indeed a traditional Japanese dish, but we understand it might not suit everyone's taste. We strive to offer a variety of dishes to cater to different preferences, and we regret that this meal did not meet your expectations. We are constantly seeking ways to improve our service and the quality of our offerings, and your comments are invaluable as we strive to enhance our tour experiences. Thank you again for your review. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you even better in the future :)

A very varied and nice tour with a boat trip, delicious food in a good restaurant and a visit to an area with volcanic activity.
However, the tour description suggests that a visit to the 5th station on Mount Fuji is included. In winter this is generally not possible due to the weather conditions (masses of snow on the mountain). This should have been stated more precisely in the description. At the offered alternative, the trip to Oshino Hassaki, there was not really enough time to fully explore the village in peace.

The tour was good, on-time and mostly matched what it said in the description. Our guide Hiro was very kind, well spoken and friendly lady. She made sure everyone understood the instructions well before every stop. It was raining in the morning, so our Pirate Cruise ship trip was a bummer. But then the weather improved and how. Cable rope and Village tour was great with a lot of clear views of the Mt. Fuji. We took many pictures.

However, if you are a vegetarian or vegan, please come with your own packed food. There’s absolutely no option at the gondola food court except french fries and some vending machines. Wish we knew that.

we couldn’t have a chance to go up Fuji because of the weather, it was rainy recently (april 2024), though instead we did a trip to a nice small village with a view on the mountain (luckily and local street food. The volcanic area also was interesting to visit. Plus during this tour there was a lovely boat trip through a lake. Great experience overall

Our guide, Hiro, was incredible! It was very easy to follow as an English speaker. We were very lucky in our day and the weather was clear so we could see Mt. Fuji. 5th station was closed for our day so we went to Oshino Village instead which was still very very fun.
