About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- donaldchung7210 contributionsWonderful experienceWe have wonderful day tour in Luxor, we went to the most significant place of interest such as valley of the king, valley of the queen, Luxor temple, temple of Khonsu e.t.c with an excellent tour guide explaining the highlighting and the background history of the place. Don't worry about transportation, they are well prepared, and no one will force you to buy things during the trip. Last but not least, the tour manger mohamed khalidy is soo kind and helpful, he planned the tour for us with good service and reasonable price. Moreover, he helped us to figure out all the problems including flight delay, transportation, hotel booking and so on.Written 9 August 2022
- daviddg20200 contributionsVisit to AswanWe spent three days in Aswan, guided by Mohamed Kamel Soliman. He was an excellent guide! We would highly recommend him for Aswan or Luxor!Written 26 January 2020

- cryzzrn0 contributionsDay Tour in LuxourI've been staying in Egypt for more than 3 yrs but I was able to visit Luxor last Sunday. Unfortunately, it only lasted for a day since his sister will stay only for 4 days in Egypt and they wanted to experience most of what the country can offer. It's a 9-10h ride from 6th of October, Giza, but since we've booked the Aladin Tours ahead of time, I am confident that everything will go smoothly since they've been so accommodating and helpful with my queries from the start and so they did. We've left from 9:30am after having a breakfast from the Nefertiti Hotel (try to book them as the staff are so friendly and the hotel are so accessible not to mention that they are located in front of the Luxor temple but their rooms are so affordable as well), and ended our tour at around 6pm. Their Day tour package covered 4 temples (the nearest one) from West Bank to East Bank namely Valley of the Kings, Hatshipsut, Karnak temple and Luxor temple but believe me it was enough if you would like to spend only a day to the city and you've had other itineraries in Cairo like visiting the Pyramids. Ms. Naglaa, our tour guide, was so informative and friendly we never get bored during our trip and we only had laughs about the whole journey all the time. She always had answer to every question that will pique your interest about Egyptian history. And she's so kind to even show us to shops who makes Alabaster and Papyrus. In summary, though we only spent a day but it was a well spent one. I highly recommend the Aladin tours and Ms.Naglaa as well and will definitely return there hopefully next month or in March together with my housemates. :)Written 23 January 2019
- Jenni W0 contributionsGood reliable and tour operator. We booked three tours and a ballooon flight through Tour Operator Ahmed Hammam and were very happy with the services provided. We went to the Valley of the Kings, Temples of Karnak and Luxor and enjoyed a wonderful evening boat ride on the Nile on a Felucca sail boat. Ahmed organised a great tour guide Hassan Hassani and a fantastic friendly driver Ahmed, otherwise known as Rambo (which suited him!). All the arrangements went very smoothly. A good reliable service all round. A special note of thanks to our tour guide Hassan, his passion and depth of knowledge on the tombs and temples was enlightening and really brought them to life. He and Rambo the driver made a great team always on time and happy to accomodate anything we needed i.e. stopping at the pharmacy.Written 27 October 2018
- slimvin22120 contributionsLuxor with Aladin ToursGreat 2 days visiting the west bank of Luxor with Aladin Tours. Located in Nefertiti Hotel and the guys there are extremely helpful! I was travelling solo and Ahmed Hammam twice helped me organize trips with other travellers and gave me great suggestions on the sites around Luxor. Our guide, Hassan Ashour, is extremely knowledgeable and funny, and both him and Ahmed can give you an insight into life in both ancient and modern Egypt. Grabbing lunch at the hotel restaurant after your tour is over is a delight as well! The food and drinks are delicious and a welcome relief after several hours in the desert sun.Written 17 June 2017
- Joel D0 contributionsA++ for Aladin!! - excellent tours and hassle free trips!!I spent a few days with Aladin I can say that there guides and communication were excellent. I started my tour in the restaurant where Aladin Tours are based in Luxor and had the most memorable meal of my time in Egypt served by an excellent waiter Amk Mouusa. The following day I was picked up by one of my favorite drivers Ahmed 'Rambo' and Hassan Ashour who took me to a couple of temples on the way, all for a very reasonable price! They really out of their way to make sure I had a good time both at the sites in the car. They delivered me to my hotel in Aswan. The tour manager Ahmed kept in touch with me on whatsapp and I was able to adjust my schedule to suit what I'd like to do for example delaying the start to Abu Simbel. The guide in Aswan Hamido was very knowledgeable and showed me all of the sites and shared with me not just information about the sites but also life in Egypt today. Highly recommended A++!!Written 22 March 2017

- keerthana b0 contributionsGo for Aladin!Let me begin by saying that I'm generally not a package travel kind of person and more of a backpacker. However since Egypt doesn’t lend itself much for backpacking and we were 3 girls, I decided to err on the safer side.( on a side note - I found that Egypt is quite safe and people are very helpful and welcoming) I don’t like tours where 10-20 ppl are herded into a bus and shown around. I knew I wanted a private tour. After some research I came across Nefretiti hotel and their travel agency Aladin Tours ( they have offices in Luxor and Aswan). After exchanging some emails with Eman from their front office, who helpfully replied to all my queries, I had my itinerary planned and all set for the trip. I had booked our entire 11 day trip (Cairo,Alexandria,Abu Simbel,Aswan-Luxor nile cruise and other day trips) with Aladin .They gave us quite a good quote and were reputable operators. We had excellent guides in all the places we went to - Adel in Cairo, Mohammed in Alexandria and Hassan for rest of the trip. All of them were certified Egyptologists and very knowledgable about the history of Egypt and more. Maximum of our time (6 days) was spent exploring Upper Egypt with Hassan. We found him to be very professional, patient ( especially when we kept pestering him to take our pics and I used to stray around exploring all nooks and corners of the temples :P ) and above and funny and entertaining. He carries around these wonderful illustrated books on the temples and gods of Egypt which makes everything come alive! ( Do have a look into those) Basically everyone at Aladin were helpful, the tours were planned to perfection and they ensured that we had a great experience out in Egypt. Some Tips: Do not miss - 1 - Felluca ride in Luxor - This gives you an insight into the life of the fellahin, visit nearby farms and get free grapes courtesy Hassan! 2- Visit the local market in Aswan - Taken in the hustle and bustle , feast your senses , buy some dates and hibiscus tea 3 - Hot air ballon ride over Luxor - Dirt cheap rates compared to other places in the world ( Read- Turkey and Bagan ) Avoid - I wanted to cut costs so decided to travel to Aswan via First class sitting train. Bad descision - the train was very late, toilets were so dirty that one couldn’t enter and also ran out of water. ( Note i’m saying this as an Indian who regularly travels in trains back home and doesn’t complain about them). On the return journey we opted to take the flight and got a good deal from Aladin. For Indian Travellers to Egypt - It’s better to approach an Egyptian tour operator than the ones in India ( makemytrip etc) as its works out to be much cheaper and you are giving back to the local economy as well.Written 12 October 2016
- heathermaria0 contributionsA+ for Aladdin Tours!!We cant say enough good things about Ahmed, Aladdin Tours, and Nefertiti Hotel! We were very specific with our itinerary while in Luxor, and they were extremely accommodating and provided us with an excellent private driver for 4 days at a very reasonable price (we didnt want a guide, we prefer to guide ourselves). They always made sure we were happy and they took very good care of us. We highly recommended that you book your stay in Luxor at the Nefertiti Hotel and take your tours through Ahmed and Aladdin Tours. Be sure to inquire about cruise ships to Aswan, we booked a 2 night cruise at an extremely affordable price and it was pure luxory. Definitely a highlight of Egypt!Written 23 September 2016
