          Day Trip from Taipei
Great day trip from Taipei. Very well organized. The highlight were the cherry blossoms. Walter was great and knowledgeable . He answered all my questions and was very attentive.

Great overview of Taiwan in 5 days
The tour guide Alan is exceptional. He shared so much knowledge about the sites, cities, culture, and history of Taiwan. This was the best part about the tour. The 5 days to circle the whole island is a bit rushed as an extra night in Kaohsiung would have been appreciated to see more sites there. There is a good mix of city and nature on this trip. Some of the current sites require climbing hundreds of stairs so seniors may not be able to experience those. The hotels are fantastic quality. The 2 hotspring hotels on the east coast are a nice perk. The tour is currently not stopping at Taroko Falls due to the earthquake repair but hopefully will again soon.

          Amazing sites, freedom to explore
Loved this tour! Saw things we otherwise couldn’t have really seen without a tour, which is my main criteria for doing a tour. If you want extensive guiding, this isn’t the tour for you. Our guide gave us a good mix of guiding us to places and setting us loose to enjoy a bit of time independently. Our guide was very sweet and informative, letting us know about each destination between stops on the bus. I definitely recommend!

Excellent tour to see 4 sides of Taiwan (north, west, south, east)
Excellent accommodations, long bus rides but enough breaks and sightseeing time, clean & comfortable bus, smooth and safe driver, very organized tour by (Uncle) Alan Chou. Highly recommended.

          Pick up fromTaipei International Airport
The taxi guy was very patient waiting for us and we saw my name very clearly that he was holding. The driver was very courteous and told us some history of Taipei and the authentic foods to eat and the places to go and see. He’s an excellent man.

          Be warned.
Don't take this one. Started 1 hr late. Although promised did not add hr on end. Basically a ride between stops. Shortened stops. A few facts at destination. Very few. Guide slept between stops. Played on phone. Social media. Tic tok, Facebook. Did not engage. Answer questions. Give facts or information on rides. Horrible. Top 2 worst tours ever.

5 star experience with Alan Chou
I went with Alan Chou as our tour guide. Fantastic tour guide, very charismatic and funny. Everything ran smoothly and I felt like it was a good overview for first time Taiwan travelers. The hotels were fantastic, and it was really fun trying a different hotel each night. The hot spring hotels were a highlight. I also loved the old streets, since you could wander them to buy food and drinks.

Absolutely Brilliant Overview for First Time Visitors
If you are new to Taipei as we were this is the perfect way to get a great overview of the city. Our guide Sharron was brilliant. Really informative and did a great job of giving us time to enjoy the many stops whilst also keeping the day on track. Highly recommended for first time visitors. Particularly if you only have a couple days. Do this early in the trip and it might flag places to go back to.

Great tour, shame about thet last day
A very interesting five day tour all around the island. Saw a lot and had a great driver whose name I sadly don't recall and guide - Alan Choo. Very good hotels except for the one at Sun/Moon lake that was freezing cold at 17 C and the aircon was central and couldn't be regulated. Also staff at the hotel hardly spoke English. But once I made myself understood via a translation app staff was very helpful and brought a portable heater and a second duvet that was sorely needed. A big disappointment was the last day of the tour as due to an earthquake we couldn't go to Tarokko gorge and visited a whiskey distillery and were then dumped in a totally uninteresting tourist trap that was billed as an arts and craft centre. Which it wasn't, just souvenir shops. Edison travel you can do better than that!

          Five star experience
Six of us booked a transfer from the cruise port to the airport with a few hours of sightseeing in Taipei since our flights didn't leave until mid-afternoon. Vincent was our guide and made the end of our cruise trip truly memorable with visits to a beautiful temple, the Chiang Kai-Shek memorial, a food vendor street and theTaipei 101 tower. Vincent provided a running commentary and answered all of our various questions about culture and ilfe in Taipei. And we had a very comfortable spacious high-end van for our trip. Highly recommended .. it was better than many of the shore excursions from our cruise ship!

          Good pickup service
Great experience with the pickup services, I booked for pickup from the airport to hotel in Taipei and vice versa. The drivers were punctual and even earlier waiting for me, very polite and friendly. The cars were clean. Highly recommended.

          Careful and considerate tour operators
We utilised Edison for 4 separate day tours around Taipei and transfers to and from the airport. They left on time, the vehicles were clean and well driven, they covered the itinerary and the guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our tours were in winter and 2 of them were affected by rain. On both occasions the guides modified the agenda and visit timings to minimise the impact of poor weather. The trips were also good value and didn’t include visits to tacky souvenir stores. We also never felt rushed. I’d happily use them again.
