We have been working together for a year and with every travel change, Sangam has come up with an easy fix. Not only have I planned 2 additional trips with him, but the friends I referred to him also had a fabulous time at Chitwan. Reasonable prices, fluent English, and professionalism throughout! - NickH3270 contributionsChitwan 2N (Jeep,Walk,Tower) Dec2024Everything went well from pickup to departure (company helped voluntarily move our flights to accomodate a last minute change). We did mostly private tours for 2N (1/2 day jeep, canoe + full day walk + tree house). Food was acceptable/good given location. Local guide and park guide were helpful in spotting wildlife and I felt they always wanted us see more. If you enjoy walking I'd recommend walking and spending more days sleeping in the park I wasn't really aware this was an option until I got there. On basis of the communication, logistics and tours I would highly recommend the company as a whole.Written 8 December 2024

Sangam and Gopal, our guide, were so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. A perfect amount of time to spend in Chitwan. Highly recommended.Written 31 October 2024

Our guide and naturalist, Gopal, is very knowledgeable of the flora and fauna in the region and is excellent at spotting wildlife. - 122maddyw0 contributionsImmersive and exciting jungle tour - ☆☆☆☆☆The jungle tower is absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunset over a watering hole while the birds soar overhead is truly a once in a lifetime experience. We had an amazing time with Hemanta, who is extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very safe and looked after. We saw rhinos, deer, jackals, monkeys, crocodiles, and dozens of different bird species, including herons, eagles, and lapwings. The deluxe cottages are wonderful, and the boat tour was also a highlight. Amazing opportunities for photos too. Definitely the best part of our trip to Nepal!Written 20 November 2023
- UtahBrian0 contributionsThe Way a Nepalese Jungle Should be ExperiencedThere is something thrilling about walking into a real, wild jungle. You are surrounded by the sound of birds, insects, and often the trumpets of large wild animals. It speaks to your soul. Spending the night in a jungle can be another thing, but thankfully the towers available in Chitwan National Park are amazing. Running water, flush toilets, comfortable beds, and fantastic views all lend to a comfortable experience. Watching the sun set and hearing the night creatures take over from the seclusion of your tower room is fantastic. Our guide Hemantha kept us informed of what we were hearing, pointed out wildlife along the shores of the river as they came down to drink, and educated us on life in the jungle. It was really like being part of a National Geographic documentary. Beautiful, informative, and exciting.Written 2 November 2023

Sangam arranged for us to stay 2 nights in Jungle Safari Resort and 1 Jungle Towernight stay. He is an excellent Hotel Manager and Travel arranger. After visiting the elephant breeding center, we headed to the Towernight stay with our guides who gave us a safety briefing, carried our dinner & breakfast, guided us to our treehouse for the night while helping us spot & identify wildlife.
Gopal is an experienced, knowledgeable, and professional guide who never ceases to amaze me. He is able to spot birds and animals that we never even knew were there. We saw rhinos, multiple herds of deer, a civet, great hornbills, nightjars, countless crocodiles and so much more. I would recommend anyone to book Gopal for any guided activity in Chitwan or even the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve area.
The treehouse was such a unique venue for observing wildlife in their local habitat and enjoying the peaceful tranquility into the evening, sunset through to sunrise.

We had a very positive experience with the jungle tower night stay. We started off with a 20 minute boat ride to the jungle tower which is located in an excellent spot for wildlife viewing. We shared the tower with 2 other couples but had our own room which was small but clean and comfortable. Our guide Gopal was excellent both in his knowledge and his efforts to ensure that we saw as much wildlife as possible. He woke us in the middle of the night so we could see civet cats and rhinos.
The next day he was our guide for the jeep tour (we upgraded to a private tour) as well where we saw lots of rhinos, crocodiles, gharial, monkeys , 3 types of deer and many birds. I recommend requesting Gopal as he is highly knowledgeable and professional. The icing on the cake was wrapping up the tour with a rhino trodding down the main street just a minute outside our hotel.
We were also happy with our hotel stay at the jungle safari resort. The location allowed easy access to town but was tucked away, clean, comfortable and quiet.
And while I went to Chitwan for the wildlife (and was not disappointed) the Tharu culture show was a wonderful surprise. Don’t skip it!
We were only able to spend 2 nights at Chitwan but felt this package allowed us to fit a lot in!

Everything was perfect. They arrange the bus from Kathmandu to Chitwan and they wait for me at the station two hours as the bus was arriving late. From then, each detail was taken cared of, I didn’t feel so secured and relax before. The hotel was beautiful and highly cleaned. The scrumptious food won’t let you down. I had Gopal as a companion for the jungle walk and the tower experience and I could say that I have been the luckiest person in the word because of that. He is an incredible professional who will make you feel safe in the jungle and will teach you amazing things about the animals, trees, and the community. The manager and the staff at the hotel are always smiling and willing to help, you don’t have to worry about anything, they have everything under control.
I left my door open as I was nervous about my night at the tower and when I came back the day after, no a single thing was touched. I am speechless about how it made me feel.
I am sure I didn’t tip them enough to make them know how well I felt, so I will come back soon to thanks them personally.
The night at the tower by the river is the most satisfying experience that I have ever had.
The show with the typical dance was moving and we finished dancing on the stage all together.
I get to spot infinity of animals and to listen the tiger in the middle of the night, Gopal could watch it as he has an eagle eye, I tried to see it crossing the river without any luck but I am more than happy with what the nature of the universe had prepared for me.
Gracias amigos

I went here during the late raining season, but still saw loads of animals. För anyone coming for a shorter trip like this one (which is essentially a day and a half in the park) I strongly recommend doing a version which includes a stay in a jungle tower. A lot of the animals and nature I saw was when going to/from, or staying in, the tower.
Finally, my guide Gopal was beyond amazing. Especially anyone who is interested in birds should go out of their way to get him (he was incredibly good at the more mainstream stuff, like big mammals as well).

This was an incredible experience with Gopal Chapagain as our guide for our entire stay. He is so knowledgeable and can see and hear things we were unaware of. His 30 years of experience was invaluable. We enjoyed the canoe ride down the river. We saw crocodiles and beautiful birds. We felt safe in the Tower stay. We had a second guard/guide with us for the Tower stay. We saw rhinos and deer. The fireflies were very cool. The Tower has flushable, western toilets and bug nets for comfort. An amazing experience. In total we saw 16 rhinos up close this entire trip. We enjoyed the domestic elephants. The sun rise was gorgeous and the walkout was beautiful with the morning sunrays peaking through the trees. We highly, highly recommend this experience.

First I want to start off: the true operator of this tour is Mother Nature and NOT the tour operator themselves. One cannot be guaranteed animals sightings or control the weather. The day we arrived into Chitwan, it was POURING rain and we were prepared that this could affect our tour and to make the most out of it. However, we got so lucky and the weather cleared up the following day! This is what to expect if coming from Kathmandu (itinerary may vary slightly depending on the weather I would imagine): we arrived to the tourist bus stop and boarded our bus. With stops, it took us around 8 hours to get there (due to bad weather). The lodge provided by the tour was nice and after eating and resting, we were taken to a cultural dance show which was awesome! The following day, we took a 30 minute canoe/boat ride and saw many birds and crocodiles (make sure to take some rupees to tip a little something to the boatmen if you wish). After disembarking, our guide asked us if we wanted to go straight to the elephants or if we wanted to do a jungle walk. Don’t skip the walk! It was so fun! We saw a lot of deer and our guide was able to point out interesting flora and fauna. We then were taken to the Elephant Breeding Center. Honestly this was our least favorite part. We love elephants and our guide informed us the role of the elephant there, but it was hard to see these elephants chained up. This is a whole other topic (and this more aimed at the Breeding Center and not our tour operator). I was glad to know that our tour guide and this tour package do NOT do elephant ride tours and our guide was against tourist riding. Later in the day, we had our Jeep safari and we saw a lot of deer, birds, monkey, and RHINO!!! It was such a highlight! That night was spent in the jungle tower and it was fun to have dinner, hear the animals at night, and enjoy each other’s company. Since ours was the 2 night tour, the following morning we returned to Kathmandu by bus. I think our guide and tour company really took care of us. From the moment I signed up for this tour, there was communication from Sangam and he was always so willing to answer my (many) questions! Thank you so much! It was a memorable experience and a nice getaway from the city!!!

I highly recommend this experience to those who seek to disconnect and connect deeply with nature. The guides were exceptionally attentive, picked us up directly from the hotel and also brought us back at the end.
The journey to the Cabin is an adventure in itself, as you enter the jungle during a walk of about 30 minutes, making stops to observe the local fauna: deer, rhinos, monkeys and other animals that cross your path.
The guides, with extraordinary kindness, take care of the food and, once in the Cabin, explain in detail the plan of the night and the next morning. They were fascinating people, with a deep knowledge of the jungle, and their sympathy and human warmth made the experience even more special.
Sleeping in the middle of the jungle, accompanied only by the sounds of nature, is something indescribable. An experience definitely worth living. Surely, if we come back, we will repeat it.

The Treehouse stay was a h highlight of our trip to Chitwan National Park! Our expert guide Gopal took us on a brief, but fun hike through the open jungle, we arrived at a 3-story wood tower, with wraparound balconies without, and ceiling fans and cozy beds within.
In the evening, we sat on benches overlooking the river, watching the crocodiles who had been basking, and the emerging river-turtles, while Gopal pointed out the names and species of the birds we could see (a flock of Great Hornbills was awe-inspiring), and which animals were responsible for the symphony of sounds around us.
We ate the meal they had selflessly carried all the way in for our dinner, talking comfortably, then (as the light faded) got quiet, just to listen to the natural world coming to life, as the sun went down.
In the morning, with the mist rising over the river, we could see the silhouettes of a dozen elephants from the nearby breeding center being led into the jungle for their morning foraging, as we heard the peacocks calling from the grasslands. I’ll never forget it, and would love to return!!!

All the staff at the resort and the safari guides were amazing and very knowledgeable, especially Gopal who was my guide for the overnight stay!
The jeep safari was far less interesting and comfortable than the canoe and walking tours, and the scheduling of the tours and meal time did feel rushed at times. I was also travelling solo and no one else had booked the tour so wasn’t quite as exciting, however you can meet lots of other locals and tourists at the cultural dance!
