Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great family day out, challenging and good for building the kids self-confidence. Staff are very helpful and provide thorough safety training. It's in the same market as the more established Tree Adventures (Woodhill Forest), and it's a worthy new comer. (Although it could benefit from some road signs as you approach it.)
Comparing Adrenalin Forest v Tree Adventures
1) Ticket prices are the same but AF does a more flexible option of a 3 hour pass and you can try as many of their courses as you can get round, whilst the TA pass allows just 4 pre-chosen courses with no time limit.
2) AF has 8 longer courses vs TA's 10 slightly shorter courses.
3) Starting courses require you to climb up to a platform. At AF you have to clip and unclip through several hoops, at TA you clip on just once to a line so it's quicker to get up and going at TA.
4) AF and TA both share similar obstacles, but TA has a greater range, more variety.
5) AF and TA both have "Flying Foxes" but AF uses them mainly between the tree stages (so provide you with thick gloves to grab the cable to slow yourself down). Whereas TA has "Flying Foxes" as a reward at the end of their courses to get you back to the ground (so no gloves required.)
6) Both are accessible from the motorway.
TA is near to a Mountain Bike Park, Muriwai Beach, and Kumeu for lunch.
AF is near an Archery Place, but not much else so bring lunch with you.
Summary
It's a close run thing between them. I think TA has the edge, but if AF is closer to you then TA isn't that much better to justify the extra drive time.

Enjoyed an awesome day here amongst the trees. The training before we started was thorough and the staff were fun and supportive right throughout our adventure. We needed them at times at tricky bits during the courses and I liked that they were always close at hand if we called out to them.
The obstacle courses are designed to do in a specific order with each course gradually getting more challenging as you progressed through them. The initial ones were good to get used to the equipment and obstacles and to whet your appetite to try the harder courses. We didn't finish all of them because our arms got too tired but loved it so much that we're going to return to finish the final course.
Highly recommended for a fun day out for anyone who likes a bit of a challeng .

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Adrenaline Forest Auckland. James and Jack were really engaging and outgoing guides. The level 6 flying fox was amazing! We both highly reccomend for any adventurous souls to spend a few hours here. Thank you for an awesome day!
