- ren_k8540 contributionsThank you Ahmed / MohammedAn exceptional experience with Wadi Rum Magic Tours! Mohammed and Ahmed provided outstanding service, making this trip truly unforgettable. Ahmed was one of the best guides I’ve had in a long time—knowledgeable, kind, and engaging. The taxi service was fast and friendly. Stunning landscapes, cozy campfires, and breathtaking starry skies made this adventure perfect. Highly recommended!Written 4 January 2025

- 957zubing0 contributions2 Days / 1 Night : Full Day Jeep Tour + Burdah Arch + 1hr Camel RideAlthough we went in the middle of a summer heat wave, the weather was tolerable as our guides provided more than enough water for us to keep ourselves hydrated. Our guides were very friendly and we felt that they genuinely wanted to give us a fun and memorable experience. On the morning of our first day, we arrived at the Wadi Rum Village via taxi from Aqaba, which was kindly arranged by Wadi Rum Magic Tours (with no extra charge), where we took our camel ride to the first stop of the jeep tour. The rest of the day we went on a jeep tour and visited various sites in Wadi Rum as well as a pit stop for lunch and to go sandboarding. In the evening we watched the sunset and drank tea at the top of a rock mesa and went to the camp for dinner and sleep. At night we were able to wander into the desert on our own and stargaze. While we were unable to see the Milky Way, we saw many constellations and shooting stars. In the morning we ate breakfast and headed out to Burdah Arch on the jeeps. Reaching the arch at the top took about 1.5 hours with small breaks, which involved several sections of bouldering and a small rope section, which our guide helped us get through safely. The hike was intermediate difficulty, and we all were able to reach the top, despite having a diverse collection of hiking experience and body types. The view from the top of the arch was amazing and made the climb worth it. After returning to the start of the hike we had lunch and returned to Wadi Rum Village. Magic Tours also arranged taxis to take us to Petra, which was our next destination. All four meals we had were very delicious and filling, which were cooked by our guides. During our lunches, we were given plenty of time to rest and eat so we could recharge for the rest of the day. The camp has bathrooms and showers for both genders as well as tents of various configurations for sleeping arrangements. There are also outlets to charge your electronics. The bathrooms were surprisingly very clean and had 3 toilets, 3 showers, and 3 sinks each. There is both hot and cold water for the bathrooms, but the water reserves ran low in the morning (but this is not surprising since our group was 9 people).Written 8 July 2024
- johndM3314GX0 contributions2 day Wadi Rum Desert TourI did 2 nights camping, 1 day full Jeep Tour, 1 day Hike to Jabal Umm Ad Dami. Booking this tour was easy and Mohammed was accommodating with adapting the tour to our needs. We had an amazing time with our guide Ahmed. He took us to all the good spots. Provided cooked food and water throughout the trip. He was very helpful and made the tour extra special. I’d recommend this company to anyone especially if you want to support the local people.Written 9 May 2024
- 362jamt0 contributionsIncredible experienceWe did the full day jeep tour and the night under the stars. I can’t recommend this tour enough, the scenery in the desert is amazing in the day, and the views of the sky at night are incredible. When we arrived we just texted the guides and they let you park in a secure spot in front of their house in the village. You then get into the back of the jeep and venture out into the desert for the tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable having lived there his whole life and was really friendly too, you will have plenty of opportunities to take lots of great photos and rest whilst drinking tea and eating the delicious food the guide prepares. This was probably the highlight of the whole trip to Jordan so would recommend anyone not to miss out on this experience!Written 16 March 2024

- B5516TDjeffr0 contributionsAn unforgettable momentWhat an amazing time we had with Wadi Rum Magic Tours! After carefully weighing options, we booked with the team. Communication in the lead-up was excellent and they helped out with good and fairly priced transportation to get us from Aqaba then off to Petra. The tour itself : sensational! Ayed was a super guide; food was delicious; and the night under the stars incredible. I particularly liked that Ayed ensured no rubbish was ever left behind ; sadly, not all are doing the same. I would go again in a heartbeat!Written 5 November 2023
- Barplex20120 contributionsExceptional services and surreal experienceThe services were exceptional and the experience was unforgettable. The jeep tour was so much fun and ended with the best part which was sunset watching. We had experienced the authentic bedouin life in a short span of time. The camp was clean and foods were yummy. The host was very accomodating and very helpful and it felt like home away from home. Highly recommend to book here if you want a truly magical wadi rum experience. He arranged our whole of Jordan transport too.Written 18 October 2023
- 815evamariap0 contributionsWonderful experience - great serviceWhat a great experience! We opted for Wadi Rum Magic Tours out of the blue and discovered a wonderful team who are very welcoming and professional. Our main contact Morgane was incredibly fast and reliable and we were several times chatting over whatsapp ahead of the trip. They gave us detailed information, where to meet them, how to find their house and it was all very easy. Our guide Ahmed gave us a great tour and we got the best out of Wadi Rum. Highly recommended!!!Written 5 October 2023
- 150v_rkav0 contributionsBest experience ❤️In mid-August, my friend and I went on a half-day exploration of this beautiful desert and we slept under the open sky full of stars and the Milky Way. It was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. The best guide told us a lot of stories, cooked excellent food, showed us the desert animals and we felt completely safe in this company. Thank you very much!Written 13 September 2023
- MarianneMcGrath0 contributionsOne of the best things we did in Jordan!!We did the full day desert tour and camel ride. We also stayed overnight in the camp. This was an AMAZING experience and one of the best things we did in Jordan. Mohamed and his brother Ahmed were amazing with great communication throughout. They took us to watch the sunset before going back to camp. The bed was very comfy and we woke up to camels at our window. The views are spectacular. Ahmed was our driver and he let us spend as much/little time in each area. Wear good shoes because there’s lots of rock climbing but it’s well worth it for the amazing views. The food was all delicious. Everything was well organised and I would definitely recommend. 5 stars!!Written 5 July 2023
- EdLongley0 contributionsA great experienceWe did the 2 day 2 night tour. The communication from Mohamed was excellent throughout - from our initial enquiry to arrival. The administration was flawless. We had booked a new vehicle - with aircon, which is exactly what we got. Our guide - Farouk (?) was kind, courteous, and knowledgable. The first day was long - having travelled from Petra, and due to finish just after sunset. On day 1 we saw most of the major sites closer to Wadi Rum village. We opted to stay in the tents. There are 9 tents, a toilet and shower block, a dining block, and outdoor fire pit. The showers and toilets are first rate, and the cooking is fine. Our second day took us further away from the crowds, which we enjoyed the most. We enjoyed the solitude, and thd stunning views. Farouk (?) created great lunches in shady spots, and we shared tea with a Bedouin family on Eid - which felt genuinely authentic. The days are long and hot - but are completely worth it. Nothing to do with Wadi Rum Magic Tours - but you don’t travel more than a few paces in most places before encountering rubbish - whether that’s plastic water bottles (100s) or toilet paper. The area nearest Wadi Rum village looks like it’s getting destroyed by vehicles, so if you want peace and a cleaner experience - book the 2 day tour.Written 30 June 2023
- eva7eva0 contributionsMagic TourChoosing Wadi Rum Magic Tours Travel Agency was like a „blind date” but it happened to be very lucky choice. Thanks to Mohammad, the Company Owner, our desert adventure was perfectly organized. Thanks to Ajied, our driver, guide and cook in one, we felt very confident and safe on our first desert trip. On top that he share with us his knowledge about desert life, Bedouins, history and traditions. Thanks to Morgan everything was easy and her ability to speak Polish language is obviously added value. We left Wadi Rum not only with memory of extraordinary landscape but also with memory of excellent people we’ve met there. That was really magic tour and memory about those days will stay with us forever. If you plan to visit Wadi Rum it is be our pleasure to recommend Wadi Rum Magic TourWritten 23 May 2023

Our guide Ayed was extremely funny and knowledgeable, always willing to share his culture with us - and he cooked for us the best meals we had in Jordan. Ayed and the whole team made our experience really special and it was the highlight of our trip to Jordan. We recommend especially to find the time for doing 1 or 2 hours camel tour! Together with 10 friends we organized the tour with them. We booked the full day trip on Jeeps with sandboarding activity, camel ride and night in the tents. Everything was amazing. The jeeps are semi covered, with a roof and are perfect to see the beautiful landscape. The sandboarding activity was very nice and the location outstanding. The camel ride, done the day after, also was amazing. The tour guides were the best and truly fun. The camp also is in the middle of nowhere, the tents are clean and nice. The food cooked for lunch, dinner and breakfast was very good. We loved the meal cooked under the sand following the bedhoiun tradition.
Overall the expirience was a 10 out of 10 and i woukd recommend it to all who want to leave a proper bedhoiun expirience.

The Wadi Rum Magic Tours was the best vacation and experience in my life!
Eventhough we have seen all the beautiful places as like breathtaking panoramas, valleys, rocky mountains and we enjoyed night full of stars, cooking on the fire or watching absolutely marvelous sunset while drinking hot bedouin tea prepared on the fire…two days in Wadi Rum desert wasn’t enough!
I would recommend to everyone who want to live a real and AUTHENTIC experience in a desert:
just go with Wadi Rum Magic Tours! Big-hearted bedouin people will uncover you some parts of their tough but beautiful life full of freedom.
They will guide you through magical places hidden deep in the desert, prepare you original bedouin food and show you some of their own secrets!
HIGLY RECOMMENDED from our hearts <3 <3

An intense experience that can be modulated according to your visit pace. You will never lack water and refreshments and the (traditional) food is delicious. Obviously adequate coverage for the whole body is recommended, with light and light but long clothing, including the head. Glasses to protect yourself from dust, sand and bright light.
The guides are reserved, respectful and welcoming people.
Having lunch in the desert after finding shelter from the sun behind some high rocks, watching the sunset from a panoramic point and spending the night in complete silence, in a less settled and secluded area compared to other camps, were unforgettable experiences that will remain with us forever .
We were also lucky, with the full moon illuminating the desert for us at night.
If you like being in the company of other groups and people, with opportunities for conviviality, sharing, etc. find out if there will be other visitors with you, it may be that in the low season you will be alone, as happened to the 4 of us, in the company only of the boy who takes care of the maintenance of the camp and of breakfast and dinner. For some it could be distressing. Find out about the seasonal characteristics of the desert to best plan your visit.
We return home with the idea of a harmonious habitat, wild but unexpectedly welcoming and enchanting.

Dear Dario,
Thank you ro this very beautiful message ! We appreciate all the details you have given and we are so happy that you all loved your experience with us !! ☺️
Being in the silence in a place far from everything is a beautiful experience. Sure for the one that are used to the city it can be a bit surprising, but not many paces now offer this much quietness. And we are lucky as our camp is really well located far from all other camps and we are in a private place.
It was a pleasure to have you all and we hope to have you again ☺️☀️

Pleasant welcome in the visitor camp by Morgane.
Afterwards we drove into the desert to our camp...completely secluded, no other camps in sight.
Next day we did our Jeep tour and every site we visited was stunning, fresh lunch in the shade in 'bedouin' style and a beautiful Sunset to end the day. Afterwards dinner came out of the ground😋
Next day we changed the itinerary to visit near the Saudi border.
Your wish is their command.
These guys also have a great sence of humor, literally all of them. It was lovely to spend time with them as we'll.

The tour we booked was simply amazing. Ayed (our guide) picked us up and drove with us to his home where we were kindly greeted by his wife and two dogs. From there we drove with his jeep (a really cool and authentic one) to all the major spots in Wadi Rum. While doing that, he always provided interesting facts about the desert and gave tips on what to at each of the stops. He also decided to slightly adjust the order in which we stopped at the different spots, in order to avoid tourist crowds (which proved to be useful, as we were the only ones at one of the major attractions in the desert).
Further included in our tour were delicious meals and an overnight stay at one camp. The meals were prepared by Ayed and the cook in the camp. Sleeping in the desert was also worth it. The stars were incredibly.
Overall, an excellent experience with very welcoming and kind people. We highly recommend booking with Wadi Rum Magic Tours!
Note: the pictures were all taken with a phone and we are not professional photographers. the real experience was 10x as beautiful :)

Highly recommend the tour! Everything was fantastic. Great communication, arrangements with taxi drivers, food and price!
We arrived in Jordan through the Aqaba border, where the taxi drivers arranged by Mohammed met us. They took us to a lunch place with great local food, and drove us to Wadi Rum Village, where Mohammed warmly welcomed us.
We started our tour with a cup of tea at sunset, an amazing full bedouin style dinner, danced around the fire and stayed overnight at the camp. We were provided with enough warm blankets and didn’t freeze at night. The toilets need better flushing but we found our ways around it 😅
The next morning we had breakfast (really good Shakshuka!) and headed on our jeep tour and hike. We did the Burdah rock bridge hike with an amazing guide (5/5!) who made sure we hade a good time. The hike was tough but the view was totally worth it.
After the hike we were served warm lunch (with 5 sides of hummus, baba ganoush, salads), and tea and biscuits afterwards. The jeep tour took us to some remarkable places (little crowded with other tourists but until that point we were by ourselves in the desert) and then to a sand boarding point. The tour ended back at Wadi Rum Village, at Mohammed’s office where we took the taxi arranged by Mohammed to Wadi Musa.
We were able to experience something authentic, and our group was incredibly happy! Thank you again, Mohammad and team

It was a wonderful and emotional experience. In addition to the indescribable beauty of the site, everything was even more beautiful thanks to the impeccable organization of the Wadi Rum Magic Tour team.
Our tour began with a jeep trip to an area where it was possible to admire the sunset, and then head towards the tented camp and sleep there after eating some excellent typical dishes together.
Everyone is extremely kind and helpful. Excellent meals, especially the express cooked lunch in the middle of the desert (the Galayeh, really excellent!!)
After the jeep ride and climbing, we also had the chance to ride camels (treated very well) and take a one-hour walk with a very friendly Bedouin. It was really fun.
All highly recommended!

We booked a two days/one night excursion with Wadi Rum Magic Tours. From the minute my mom (62 years young) and I booked online, communication ran smoothly with Mohammad. After we passed the Visitors Centre, we were greeted by Ahmed, our guide, at Wadi Rum Village entrance and escorted to Mohammad’s house, where we left the rental car safety overnight. After sharing a cup of tea with Mohammad, we started our journey in the desert with Ahmed. Ahmed seemed to know every corner of the desert by heart and, as we were only two, we got to sit with him inside the truck rather than at the back, so we got to know each other better and had great conversations. It gets pretty cold in the desert at night, but we were provided with plenty of blankets to keep us warm. Sanitation tent was clean. Food, prepared either by Ahmed in the desert or by Ali at the camp was fresh, tasty and in abundant quantity. At the end of day two, Ahmed drove us back to Wadi Rum Village where we chitchatted with him and Mohammad about the highlights of our trip, we paid our due and we went on to Aqaba to pursue our trip around Jordan. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience in the desert !

Wonderful private tour - 24 hours in the desert with an overnight under the stars. It was magical! A great combination of seeing some of the tourist sites but mostly being completely on our own deep inside Wadi Rum. We rode camels, walked, ran and sand boarded down dunes, watched the sunset and sang songs around the campfire. It felt authentic as we were hosted by people actually living in the desert. Eid was a wonderful guide and cooked a delicious meal in the evening, entertained us with stories and riddles and made the best tea in Jordan. Shukran!!

This experience was one of the things you will remember forever. Not only the absolutely breathtaking scenery left us in awe. What really made our stay in the desert so special were the people that we were surrounded by. Thank you Mohammad for your hospitality your stories and your spirit, thank you Faraj for your songs for being such a down to earth kind of person and a very patient guide. Special thanks go to Khalid for the amazing food (also vegetarian friendly) and for making us feel at home in the cold and windy desert.
I would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to dive into the simple bedouin life and experience the desert in an individual way.
We did the 2 days (Jeep and hiking) tour and it was the perfect length for us since we were able to see more than just the tourist spots this way.
