The early bird ice cave tour is one of the best experiences I had in my whole life. Exploring the tour with Krzysztof, who told us the formation of the ice cave is memorable! They help us took beautiful pictures that I’m not going to forget for the rest of my life. Truly recommended!

Highly recommend the early bird tour, as you get there before the bulk of the other groups. Amazing experience, totally loved it. Julien the guide was a spectacular person and we loved ice climbing on the largest glacier in Europe and ice caving was a dream.

My Husband and I did the Winter Glacier Hike + Ice Cave Adventure. The tour started on time, we had the maximum number of people on this tour (10), I was a little apprehensive as our first tour had to be cancelled as they were having issues with the zip line part of the tour and that was going to be a smaller group. However, it didn’t feel crowded whatsoever. Our tour guide Claudia made the experience very enjoyable. She was oairent, friendly, and most importantly knowledgeable and full of facts. We love asking questions when experiencing something new and she answered all of them explained everything so well and clearly.

One of the best things we did in Iceland! We had the most fun ever, saw stunning blue ice formations and had the unique opportunity to witness a whole ice cave by our own in late evening. Biggest thanks to our amazing guide Julien! Cant wait to see the images

Amazing hike and climb. The whole experience was perfect start to finish. The guides were very personal, funny, and informative. I proposed to my girlfriend now fiancé, the photographer helped set it all up, and helped with the surprise. Couldn’t recommend more t enough and the views and pictures are stunning.

This trip was amazing! While the cave is not as blue in the winter morning because there’s no light outside our guide Julien brought his own and truly made it memorable! He was really knowledgeable and kept us entertained the whole time. We were very lucky and the only people who signed up for a morning tour so we had the cave to ourselves and it was truly incredible! Julien also took great photos! Highly recommend this tour

Krzysztof was such a fun and interactive guide! He explained the science and history behind the immense glaciers and the ice caves. He made sure safety was the top priority while also managing to capture such incredible moments with his camera! Ice Pic was a superb tour company! Last minute we asked to change to the longer tour and fortunately they were able to make it possible, thanks to their correspondence being very quick! Our guide was Klaudia and we could not have had a better guide! She exuded compassion the entire trip! She was patient and informative the entire day. But her calm demeanor and magnetic personality were greatly appreciated. We enjoyed every last moment! And the photos!! Klaudia got so many great photos of us!! Definitely worth purchasing the additional photos! We will most definitely be back and will most definitely ask for Klaudia again!!

I have never experienced anything like this before. The splendor of nature is truly amazing. Christophe, our guide, was equal parts knowledgeable and photographically talented. He ensured there was plenty of time for pictures at each stop. The tour itself is every bit of the 5 hours they claim with approx 30 min drive to and from the glacier. The hike itself is moderately rigorous at points. They give micro spikes and krampons for different points of it. Christophe was sure to stop if ever we needed it. Be sure to bring some water and wear layers and good hiking boots. Highly recommend.

Krzysztof was an amazing tour guide, he was very kind, generous and knowledgeable about the glaciers. It was just my friend and I on the tour, so it felt like our own private tour. The glacier hike and ice caves were honestly the highlight of our iceland trip. The scenery was breathtaking. I am so happy we booked with ice pic journeys, we originally booked the ice caves and zip line tour, however the zip line portion of the tour was cancelled. We were bummed about that but ice pic journeys took great care of us and we changed to the glacier hike. The whole adventure and experience was fantastic. I would definitely recommend ice pic journeys and hopefully you too will be lucky to have Krzysztof as your tour guide, although I am sure all their guides are great. Thank you for a memorable experience, I would not hesitate to book with them again and again.
