Day trip to Macy Picchu from Cusco
The tour was great. We had excellent service for the private pick up and drop off in Cusco. Our tour guide at Machu Picchu was Hector. He was absolutely wonderful! We had such a good time with him and learning all about the history of the site. He was super friendly and took the time to stop at the best places and take pictures. He really put a lot of effort into getting the best photos for us which is much appreciated. The day is VERY long. The bus from Cusco to the train station was almost two hours and the train to Aguas Calientes was almost two hours as well. The wait for the bus up the mountain was not so bad for us (15 mins) but it can definitely be a lot longer depending on when you visit. Not going to lie, the ride up/down is a bit scary. Obviously you are going up a mountain, so it is very narrow and full of curves/switchbacks. The ride up the mountain is about 25 minutes. We had circuit 2 which is supposedly the best. I agree with that as we were able to climb some stairs and get the perfect view, then walk all through the ruins. The wait to get it was about 20 minutes. They require your passport. There is a bathroom at the top that is 2 soles to use. You can take water in but no umbrellas. Sunscreen was a must too. There are a ton of shops in Aguas Calientes that sell ponchos, umbrellas, sun screen, water, snacks, and bug spray. If you are staying in Cusco our guide recommended that we do not purchase a lot or any souvenirs as they are much cheaper in Cusco. I did notice that as well because when I asked for the prices they were higher than what I was able to find in Cusco.

        Excellent and very informative
The places we went were very interesting and the guides were very knowledgeable, helpful, kept us very well informed about how the day is going to be, what kind of clothes and shoes will be needed for that kind of excursion and made our trip more pleasant and bearable even in extreme conditions.

The best way to experience something new!
This tour had so much more than just Machu Picchu!! All of our guides were friendly and kept us safe. They were all from the area so you can tell that they wanted you to experience the beauty and culture of Cusco and the surrounding villages. I learned so much about Peru and Inca! Every hotel we stayed in was beautiful and staff were accommodating and helpful! Transportation was included every where which made the trip so much more enjoyable. Can not wait to go back!!

        Disappointing
The tour guide arrived early to my hotel, which was great, but he didn't speak English so I had no idea what he was explaining about Pisco or anything else. He used a translator on his phone to explain a couple of pertinent things but that was it. I understand I'm in a Spanish speaking country, but if you advertise that you have English speaking guides, and I indicate I'm English speaking when I book the tour, why wouldn't you make sure there was an English speaking guide? At one point we were dropped off for lunch, and when the van returned it was full of new people and my backpack had been moved. There is a reasonable understanding that your belongings will be safe in the van, but that wasn't the case. While the guide was very nice, all of these things added up to a poor experience. As for the Nazca lines flight, half of the plane was sick from the flying maneuvers. The flight was quick so you barely had a chance to see the lines.

        Wonderful day at Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu was exceptional! Our tour operator was organized. Had signs for us at each stop/train station and at the beginning of the tour of Machu Picchu. It was a very long day. The train ride back to Cusco was delayed and added a couple hours longer to the day. The weather changes quickly so bring rain gear.

I had such an amazing time in Peru with this company! Everything was so well organized! My favorite guides were Sergio, Nataly, Felix, and Jaime. But they were all amazing! I learned sooo much!

Machu Picchu bimodal train and bus one day tour
We completed the one day Machu Picchu tour, the organisation was great and clean with no major issues. The day itself is long, however worth the trip. The guide selection was amazing (Hector). The only 2 negative point was the 40 minutes it took from arriving back at Cusco to being dropped off at the hotel. (Waiting for other passengers and traffic) and the return bus on the last leg was too small for the people that were booked on it and quite uncomfortable.

Amazing trip to Peru using Viajes Pacifico
We had an amazing time visiting Cusco, Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu. Viajes Pacifico was fabulous. The guides were so knowledgeable. The service was amazing. They got us to the places we wanted to see and supported from the time we got off the plane until they dropped us back off at the airport.

        Excellent guide
My guide Liliana was very professional and knowledgeable. She explained in great detail the history of the sites we visited and details that would've been overlooked. Highly recommend this tour and guide.
