- Happiness677828969290 contributionsWe really enjoyed this tour. Ask for Jeremy. The tour was very enjoyable and informative. We sampled foods of 3 local restaurants / vendors giving us a good representation of the area. Our guide “Jeremy” was very knowledgeable about the history of the island which he shared with us. He was also very personable and made us feel like friends. Our tour was for the full day. I would reccommend this tour to anyone who wants a similar experience. You will see a lot of the island.Written 15 March 2024
- davidhF9125SR0 contributionsVery informative tourA really informative tour. Saw Grenada from a different perspective and learned many new things. If you want to know more about the country then I highly recommend you take this tour.Written 9 March 2024
- U6884HJbarbarah0 contributionsWe had a great tour!Jeremy was a great guide. He was knowledgeable, fun, patient, and kind. He gave us a great snapshot of the Island. The food was very good. I might not of tried some of it on my own. I would definitely recommend him.Written 29 February 2024
- meganlI4233JV0 contributionsI highly recommend this tourGuide arrived on time. First stop was at a bakery and we were able to taste the typical Grenadian breakfast which was some fried bakes and salfish with some cocoa tea. It continued with stops at the distillery, fort, chocolate place, other food stops for lunch which were also very yummy including the delicious local passion fruit juice, the grand etang national park where we were greeted by some of the friendliest monkeys in the world OMG I’ve seen some not so friendly monkey but the mona monkeys were so adorable making me wish I had one as pet. We were given history lessons of the food and culture by our very knowledgeable guide Mike. This is a highly recommended tourWritten 27 February 2024
- B7886BLemmas0 contributionsSo goodThe tour was so good. It was a day well spent and I would recommend it to everyone looking to explore more of the country as it combines the best things to do and see.Written 27 February 2024
- N6099UWmarlong0 contributionsVery educational tourThis tour is highly educational regarding spices and herbs. As a medical doctor, I am delighted that we took part in this tour. For the first time, I saw a genuine cinnamon tree and smelled the sticks obtained from the second layer of the tree bark. In the US, we have the cassia variety, which isn't real cinnamon. However, Grenada has the Ceylon variety, which is authentic, delicate, and sweet, creating a subtle and not so overpowering flavor. The country is truly unique so is this tour and company. Can’t recommend them enoughWritten 26 February 2024
- abigaillK2919LK0 contributionsLoved Grenadian FoodOur guide Jason was very knowledgeable about the history of the country. Jason was very passionate about showing us the Grenadian food! He made changes for diet needs. Loved the stop at the bakery for bakes and saltfish perfectly made with locally grown vegetables and spices, the pineapple tart, currant roll, the freshest sweet coconut water we got from a street vendor we drank it the traditional way from the actual coconut and not bottled like I’m used to, roti, oil down, and the red sorrel juice! The surprise dessert was enjoyable too! You should definitely take this tour if you’re interested in trying local cuisine. Don’t eat breakfast before the tour so you don’t get stuffed!Written 25 February 2024
- H5984MUstephanier0 contributionsIncredibly personableIt was truly exceptional and incredibly personable. Every aspect of the trip was pretty much enjoyed! Our guide did an outstanding job, and we cherished her company.Written 24 February 2024
- U7765EHmichellet0 contributionsMore Than We ExpectedWhat an incredible experience! Charles was such a fantastic host, teaching us some of Grenada's history. The day continued with a feast of tasty treats, including doubles, pineapple tart, calaloo soup, and of course, mouthwatering roti to say the least. If we return to Grenada, reaching out to Nirraky tours again is a definite plan. It’s worth booking this tour 100%Written 24 February 2024
- geraldineo7590 contributionsA flavorful journeyEvery moment of the tour was fantastic! Jason, our incredible guide, provided a captivating experience. Exploring local cuisine, delving into Grenada's history, and visiting the spice market were highlights. Jason’s extensive knowledge offered a wonderful overview of life in Grenada.Written 19 February 2024
- connien7560 contributionsAbsolutely worth bookingExploring the chocolate-making process and savoring pure chocolate was fascinating. Unlike most commercially refined chocolates, Grenada’s is purer with a higher cocoa content. The small setup allowed for an intimate experience, with a chance to ask questions. The variety of chocolates offered was enjoyable, and the tour didn't pressure us into trying unwanted flavors. The homemade nutmeg ice cream emerged as a favorite. Although we skipped the rum tasting part of the tour due to not consuming alcohol, the other sites were delightful. Spice garden was so beautiful and very informative. Worth booking for a delightful experience.Written 19 February 2024
- O7917LDalexj0 contributionsA very fantastic tourJane, our tour guide was punctual as she met us at the meeting point. She provided insightful information not only about the food but also the history of Grenada. Exploring various sites, from local restaurants, house of chocolate, historical fort, grand etang forest reserve, waterfalls, and bakery, added a vibrant cultural dimension to our visit. The small tour group allowed ample time for interactions with Jane, making it an engaging experience with opportunities to ask numerous questions. I recommend doing this food tour early in your visit to gain a better understanding of the available local foods.Written 19 February 2024
- 426carolel0 contributionsWonderful day excursion to learn all about the Island. This excursion was absolutely fantastic and worth the full day. Jeremy was our tour guide and just couldnt do enough for us. He gave us all the history of the island and we learned exactly all the things we wanted to. He was truly wonderful and very knew everything about Grenada.. He gave it his all.Written 18 February 2024
- rooneyn20240 contributionsCulinary and nature blendThis tour exceeded all expectations, seamlessly weaving through the lush Grand Etang Forest Reserve and historic Fort Frederick. Annandale Fall served as the perfect picturesque setting. We indulged in a delightful array of local flavors. The tour was a harmonious blend of natural beauty and culinary exploration, leaving an indelible mark on my senses and creating an experience that will be cherished forever. I exceptionally recommend this experienceWritten 17 February 2024
- 511rodric0 contributionsDelicious delights!Food was so delicious. I love the way this tour combines both food tasting with sightseeing which enables you to see, and learn more of the history. We had a very friendly tour guide by the name Danny and he was so knowledgeable, the group was small and intimate. Deserves more than a 5 starWritten 17 February 2024

The chocolate factory tour of Belmont estate which also included stops at the Annandale falls and grand etang crater lake was what we wanted to do for a full day experience. We were able to learn about the process of making chocolate and in the end of the tour we had many samples to try. We bought some for ourselves and family back home. My husband was concerned about the heat melting the chocolate but the tour guide at the estate assured us that their chocolate doesn’t melt if milk was added. We arrived back at the hotel and it was as solid as we picked them up which was really great I love my chocolate crunchy. It was such a fantastic experience you’ll love every bit of it

Tour was booked on short notice and we were lucky to have a private tour. Driver was very smart and giving a lot of information during the tour. Unfortunately at Belmont Site driver did not appear at agreed time with 30 minutes delay. Based on that not 5 points

Thank you for your feedback, and we appreciate your review, however we would like to reiterate the fact that at the time of your tour, there were major road works going on in the area that would have contributed to the delay which was out of your driver’s control but we would like to join with his apology to you that day and further apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused. We would like an opportunity to make it right. Kindly contact our customer service team at 456-7534 so we can make amends. Thank you.

Booked 8am pick up. Email at 7:10am stating it would be 9:30am which due then due to traffic was 9:45am. Driver then said no more availability for Belmont (despite their being no cruise ships that day) and so would take to other places. As we’d already set off I felt like Belmont was too far for him to go to as he’d arrived late and only wanted to go to the South of the island. We had a nice day overall but the objective of getting to Belmont was a fail and with no real explanation from the company.
Driver was friendly and knowledgeable and as there were only two of us it turned into a private tour however I also feel that as there were only two, a trip across the island to Belmont was in the ‘too much bother’ box so overall feel a little duped. Ended up going to Frederick Fort, condiments factory, Allandale Falls, Etang nature reserve and Clarke’s Court Distillery. Nice- but not chocolate!

Hi there Ms. Hogg, Your tour was booked short notice, ie. (within 24hrs of the start time of said tour) When we got notification of your tour it was after the cut off time and unfortunately we were fully booked for that day. Cruise ships are not our only source of bookings, so your mention of cruise ships not being there so we couldn’t have possibly been fully booked may be quite an assumption on your part. Interestingly your entire review is giving assumptions rather than logic & fact, which is extremely disappointing, seeing we went out of our way to accommodate you from a situation that wasn’t our fault to begin with.
Viator accepted responsibility for the glitch on their system allowing the booking to come through after the cut off period, but asked us; instead of canceling, can we arrange another tour for you of equal value....How can you possibly feel duped when we went ahead on our own accord to give you a private customized tour of MORE VALUE?
Our drivers cannot make such decisions you are insinuating as editing the itinerary of a listed tour just because they ‘feel like it’ unless under our directive. Your guide tried his best to explain everything that morning to you before the tour began and was left under the impression you understood but it’s quite clear after reading your review, you didn’t.
As one of the most reputable tour companies on the island, What do we have to gain by not giving you what you booked?
We included additional stops than you would normally get with the original tour to ensure you had a fun filled experience regardless, the chocolate museum being one of them. This is one of the top hot-spots on our island for chocolate lovers but the driver gave feedback that you refused to go. So to be fair there was chocolate...
Kind Regards

Jeremy is a great guide. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The Belmont Estate was a nice visit, and I wish we had more time there. In fact, I would spend more time at Belmont and drop Annandale Falls, which is, let's face it, a tourist trap. It's a small waterfall 100yds down a paved road lined with sellers hawking their wares. Grand Etang Lake, well, honestly it's just a pond with some koi in it. However, while we were there we did come across somebody who was able to coax a monkey down from a tree, and my wife got to hold the monkey, so that was worth it.

Hi there Mr. Janae, Thank you for your review and we are so happy you’ve had such a wonderful time with Jeremy. Permit us to say however,
some islands are not fortunate enough to even have fresh running water or crater lakes. It might be a “small pond” to you ironically named “Grand Etang” which literally means “Big Pond” but we are very proud to say the least, of our unique natural beauty. We also think it’s worth mentioning that there isn’t a tourist island/country in the world where you won’t find vendors trying to sell their products to earn an honest living.
Glad you got to experience the monkey’s they are really a sight to behold.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review us,
Kind Regards.
