Slightly confusing pick up time but great value for money tour
Great value for money. Get to see lots of sights for a great price. If you want a long time at each site or a fully guided tour with lots of information this is not for you but if you're happy to see the sights and have a look around by yourself it's brilliant. Slightly confusing pick up as our information said hotel pick ups would be 30-60 minutes before. We assumed this to mean 8-8.30am for a 9am start but we were actually collected at 9.20am. We did try to ring but their line wouldn't connect so we sent a message and they replied pretty promptly to confirm our pick up time. Other than this, fantastic trip!

          Disappointed
Was so excited to see pink dolphins but after nearly 2 hour speedboat ride and Cora round for an hour we had no luck. Because the boat driver went over the time looking for them the speed in which we went to the snorkelling place was pretty scary and very uncomfortable I didn't like this at all and wasn't a nice place to snorkel lots of seaweed and not many fish. Pig island made up for the day I really enjoyed feeding and petting the pigs think I would just do this trip if I did it again. When we got back to shore the food we were served was beautiful and plenty of it coconut soup massaman curry Thai curry and crispy chicken deliciousness.

Poor snorkeling spot and a lot of trash in pig island.
We booked a tour, which included a boat ride to look for some dolphins, snorkeling, pig island and lunch in the end. Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins, but that's alright, they are free creatures. The problem was that we were one hour late from the schedule. Also the snorkeling spot was very poor. No corals, not many fishes, just a lot of seeweed. It was a bummer, because at this point we've been on the boat for 2,5 hours waiting for the snorkeling spot with all the corals. There are amazing snorkeling spots in thailand so this 40 minute snorkeling to see nothing was definetely something the company didn't tell us. After this we had 50 minutes on the pig island. The animals were lovely, but the island was extremely untidy. A lot of trash everywhere, plastic and cans. Not worth the money in our experience.

Great fun for the family with helpful supportive team!
Great service. Two relatively novice riders with two young kids surrounded by much more experienced riders could have been a little intimidating. But the staff were really great. They stayed with us even though we were well behind the main group. Never hurried us, just really kind and helpful. Highly recommend to those with young families though probably six would be the youngest. Just easier to manage. Thanks again to the great team!

          Very disappointing
Trip Advisor/Viator apparently did not confirm the tour with the operator so we were not picked up as advised. Ultimately we were offered a private car tour by the local operator but that did not materialise. We were picked up and deposited on tour route 90 minutes after it commenced and joined a very ordinary short tour. Very disappointing.

Great day, despite not spotting any pink dolphins
It was a shame not to see any pink dolphins, but we had a good day. We loved the wild pigs on Pig Island, and the snorkelling. The guys on the boat were friendly and helpful, though I suggest they add anti-histamine cream to their first aid kit. Delicious food afterwards, too!

Good way to explore the island (without renting a scooter)
I liked the tour, since it was a good way to explore the island. Compared to taxi fees, it was cheap, when you don’t want to rent a scooter. My tour guide was nice and you could ask him anything at any time.

          Breathtaking views
This is a must do trip, it is quite challenging due to the treks around the beaches, and the 2hour long boat ride. The views from the hills around the beach was breathtaking. It was a varied experience with kayaking, hiking and snorkeling that can be done at various stops during the trip.

Absolutely wonderful way to spend the morning - saw a traditional market, hands on cooking and education, and then a feast to eat! Loved this experience - thank you!

          Disappointing experience/ rude unprofessional agency
You will be disappointed if you book a tour via them (Koh Samui Tour). I was told my pick up will be at 9am. I was waiting in the lobby from 8:45 to 10:15 am. No one showed up. I called the 2 numbers provided throughout this one hour. They didn’t pick up. One (092-547-1403 )picked up and when I said I’m still waiting, he cut the line. Then in the afternoon he called and apologized and promised to make it up by sending a taxi for my flight next day and unsurprisingly that was super late too. Oscar and the team are very unprofessional and ignorant’ spend your money elsewhere if you don’t want to be disappointed.

Unsure why I saw negative reviews about this tour. It was well organised, lovely staff, boats appeared to be in good condition, lots of snorkelling opportunities, decent enough lunch (although was only lukewarm). Okay the life jackets are a bit faded but hardly anyone wore them anyway! We had a great day!

well organised one day journey, pick up at hotel and guidance through the day worked out perfectly. koh nang yuang was rather crowded with tourists and most corals next to the landing peer obviously have suffered from them. however one can still find some nice coral reefs and get even the illusion of untouched nature if one is ready to swim a bit away from the landing peer. mask and snorkel are provided, but no flippers.

We booked this trip whilst on Ko Samui as we had read that Ko Tao would provide the snorkelling opportunity that we desired. Whilst the day would have been resoundingly perfect in every respect, it receives only the ‘good’ rating above because of a few niggles that could be easily rectified with better organisation from the Mr Tu management.
We had received a text notification that we would be collected from our hotel at 08:00-08:10 hours, but and because we were not ready by the 07:45 hours which is when the driver turned up, he became quite arrogant and threatened to leave us, despite the fact that we were ready in the bus by 08:10 hrs. He calmed down however when he saw the text, so I suspect that the correct pick-up time had not been relayed to him.

We were transported to the Mr Tu pier where hoards of other tourists were waiting. We had a briefing that was very difficult to follow in the commotion and multiple languages over a speaker phone whilst being offered a light breakfast snack. Entrance tickets for the Ko Nang Yaun Island were purchased for 100THB each and then we set off in speed boats for a very bumpy but fun trip. Our captain and crew were very helpful, friendly and offered snorkelling tips throughout the day.

We had 2 stops round Ko Tao for the snorkelling which was utterly amazing: we saw innumerable beautiful fish and the coral was the most alive and vibrant in colour that I had ever seen. We then had a delicious 3 course buffet lunch and were then transported to the final stop on Koh Nang Yuan.

I would urge tourists to beware of the small Koh Nang Yuan bar where we were ripped off for coffee by a very loud screaming and rude woman who would not see reason why the hot coffee we purchased for 70THB should really cost the same as the cold coffee that we also wanted, but that she was demanding 300THB for. The menu listed a ‘latte’ at 300THB which we had not requested. There was no-one in the bar that could speak English or willing to assist as they were more interested in getting through the queue of tourists than to resolve the problem. There was insufficient time to enjoy the views from the top of Koh Nang Yuan because of the huge queues wanting to take photos up there, and then we were all whisked to the boats for the 45-minute journey back the main land of Ko Samui.

I would normally have ended this review by saying that overall it was an exhilarating day trip out and if we had had a little longer at the last stop, it would have been well worth the cost because at the mainland we were then made to wait an additional 45 minutes because the bus was completely hemmed in by other buses that would not move to allow ours to pass. Our driver tried to sort this out but appeared helpless to do anything. I felt quite sorry for our driver because other foreign tourists were less forgiving and kept shouting at him to get going or out the air conditioning, when really they ought to have spoken to the management about this disarray rather than giving him such a hard time.

I book the tour online, under koh samui tour, when arrive i saw their shirt and boat named Mr Tu. Maybe same team.
So the journey was fun, there were 3 snorkeling spot, 2 look out point and 1 lunch. Everything went well, they arrived at my hotel for pick as according to promised schedule. Boat departs around 10am, journey took about 1 and half hours, we were told, the return back journey will be bumpy, the morning ride was ok, not so bumpy. Arrive in Koh Tao, for snorkeling and there is a look out point, where you can climb and take picture, it has wooden stairs and deck. Next was snorkeling in Koh Nguyen area, coral was deep, so snorkeling was easy without damaging the corals. Next was lunch at Koh Tao, they took us to a resort, which was nice, lunch buffet was nice, food was delicious, they also serve ice cream. Then next to Koh Nguyen, where we spend 2 and half hours, the boatman asked me to hike to the look out point first before snorkeling, so that what i did, it was 150 meters hike, and when you reach the top, there was no deck, just rocks, so you have to make way for people to go up and down, and take turn to take pictures. But the hike was worth it, the view was spectacular. Then you can snorkel around the island. Then back to Koh Samui. When arrive they serve watermelon, in the boat, they provide cold drinking water and also carbonated drinks. So overall, i satisfied with their service. If you ask me, next is the Anh Thong Marine park.

OK, these islands are already beautiful and worth visiting, visiting these islands you will already have an amazing day.

But what really sets this tour apart is the staff. They are excellent, friendly, and very helpful. They take VERY good care of you and make sure your day goes well. They truly go the extra mile anticipating what you need before asking.

We had a wonderful day exploring these islands, it was like walking into a postcard.

We would definitely do this again, or go on one of their other tours. Highly recommended. Just GO.

We booked a full day trip with this agent on 6 April 18 and received confirmation right after we paid the deposit, communicated via online chat as well. We were told that the meeting up was around 8am to 8:30 in the resort lobby, we proceeded to lobby sharp at 8am in the morning and waited for 40 mins, we called the agent and they told us they had to check and got us to wait for another 30 mins and so, finally they surprised us with an amazing answer: the tour was fully booked, ours was double booking. If this is the case shouldn’t they inform us upon our booking and Not keeping us waiting for hours. Local number was provided to them, so they had no excuse not to communicate to us on the fully booked issue.

We had no choice but cancel the trip, all we want is a refund since nothing else can be done, the refund is the LEAST the can do but they failed to satisfy our simple and little wish, until today, we have not gotten any reply/ confirmation /communication. We had been approaching them via WhatsApp/ email/ online chat with no respond until week ago we finally get a reply from online chat, they told me they would check and kept us updated. There was the last time they communicated to us, and the continuing missing in action, we are unable to reach them in any way we tried.

I never ever write any negative review, but this tour has reached our limit and treated us extremely unfair. We are writing here as I do not wish any of you to screw your day like us.

They have a nice website and photos, but the actual tour experience is nothing like that. First of all, we did not get a confirmation of when exactly we'd get picked up so we sat and waited from 7:30AM onwards with no certainty that anyone would even come (and this is after paying a deposit) - not the way you want to start your day on vacation. Second, the breakfast is not "light", it's a joke. Eat something before they pick you up. Third, nowhere on the website does it say that the ride to Koh Tao can be VERY choppy. The speedboat goes fast, and especially between Koh Phangan and Koh Tao, it will be hard for people with even mild motion sickness. Two people on our boat threw up, canceled the tour halfway and took a slow, mild ferry back. Third, when we arrived to our first stop I really understood how ratty and cheap our tour was compared to everyone else's. We had these old, shabby lifejackets - so old in fact that they were this dusty pink color (from what was once bright red) so basically, if you fall and float in the sea, not a soul would see you from a distance. Three other tours on the island, all had neon bright new lifejackets, bright snorkeling shoes, and obviously newer snorkeling equipment. Also, this first stop was completely useless - we were all tired from the boat ride, the sea was muddy and not calm, you couldn't snorkel or really see that much fish, and you couldn't even sit on the sunbeds and take a break because they belonged to some property and you had to pay extra for them. I can't say anything negative about the lunch stop after that - it was tasty authentic Thai food, buffet style. The third stop was on the beautiful private island, with the view and this was the best part. As soon as we got there we realized that we shouldnt've done this "tour" but rather should've taken a ferry directly to this Koh Nang Yuan island and spent the whole day there. The only thing that redeemed this tour were the young Thai crew who obviously tried very hard to make it nice. But to be honest, I couldn't understand what the main guy was saying 70% of the time. And I've been on tours in Thailand before, where for a lower price than this one, there is an English speaker on board who explains what you are seeing. Our tour was operated by Grand Sea Discovery - I just found this out as they somehow obtained my email (thanks Koh Samui tours for not protecting my data) and emailed me to promote them on Tripadvisor. Well here's my promotion: skip the tour, take a ferry and enjoy your own day.

We booked the Full Day trip to Koh tao and Koh Nang Yuan from Samui. We were promptly picked up and started our trip soon after everyone reached the pier. The boat was like new, safe, and clean. We headed directly to Koh Tao, which was an 1.5 hours from the Samui pier. The boat trip was fun and the time went by fast! We were allowed to snorkel there for approximately an hour. The coral was beautiful, many many fishes! Note, this snorkeling tour is not guided, but you pretty much have to jump in the water by yourself and take charge! The lifejackets and snorkeling equipment are provided.

After snorkeling, we went to the other side of Koh Tao for lunch. Lunch was yummy! We had time to shop around a little bit before heading back to the boat. We then stopped at Nang Yuan Island. Beautiful private island. HAs beach activities, snorkeling, and a bar with delicious food. We snorkeled for a bit, relaxed at the beach, ate and drank some more (this was a 2-2.5 hour stop). After we headed back to the boat and back toward Samui.

The guides were very informative, professional, and we enjoyed our entire trip! Highly recommend!

Sounds and looks great in the brochures. It's not! All locations were overcrowded. Travel time in the boat (Which broke down twice) was far too long in relation to the time able to snorkel. All the boats followed one another so at each destination there would have been over 250 people in the water. Dont waste your time. When we went the seas were calm and there was still 3 or more people vomitting. The water was cloudy. The fish were lovely when u spotted them.

The first, i would like to express my special Thank to Abi who we booked with. Abi was really helpful and had patience. Coz we just decided 1 night before the departure day that we couldnt come to their office. also my card wasnt working, but Abi was really helpful to keep place for us. then we paid on the tour that was very convenience for us. I appreciate that. The price they offer is competitive in markets.
We did full day to Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan with nice tour guide. His Eng is very good, he take care all of us in all the time. The nice thing is free soft drink in the tour. We did snorkeling twice, climbed to reach the top of Koh Nang Yuan with best view.
        Thank again,
