She was well-organised and even taught us useful Japanese phrases which we used in subsequent days! Mount Fuji was visible the entire day, so we felt extremely blessed and happy to have seen the sacred mountain from different locations and at different timings. I highly recommend Yumiko to any person interested in visit Fuji or any other part of Japan!Written 6 December 2018
- andrescuqui0 contributionsA must see in Japan with the beaty of Mt. Fuji all the wayThis is the second time we were "rescued" by Japan Wonder Travel, and this time everything was great as well. The Guide, Yumiko, was lovely and a kind person. Always patient! We spotted Mt. Fuji in the morning, and could take great photos. Also Lake Kawaguchiko and Aokigahara Forest. We would have been lost if we had been by ourselves.Written 2 February 2018

Although we experienced a 'shy' Mt Fuji (covered in low fog clouds), our guide Yumiko provided us with a full day of fun & activities around the area. We loved the lava cave with the spectacular ice formations underground- then topped our walk off with a corn Icecream! Add salt and it was delicious!! Lunch was huge and incredibly tasty, especially the local Fuji Hoto noodles (yummy!). Our favourite visit was to the Itchiku Kubota Kimono art museum- it was stunning and very interesting to see, plus the gorgeous gardens. The sake tasting was a fun way to end our wonderful 'shy' day at Mt Fuji. Thank you to Yumiko for your expert guidance.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We're so glad to hear that, despite Mt. Fuji being a bit 'shy' that day, our guide was able to make your visit full of fun and create memories.
It's wonderful to know that you loved the local Hoto noodles and had a great time exploring the art museum and its beautiful gardens.
Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure when Mt. Fuji is feeling a bit less shy!

Our day trip to Mt Fuji area was amazing. Our guide Mrs Yumiko was very knowledgeable and made our trip unforgettable. She took a lot of care to show us the highlights of the area and guide us for amazing lunch and ice creams. We had an awesome time. Would love to go back to the area in another season. Thank you Yumiko.

I went to Japan with a group of friends and my boyfriend and I had one day to ourselves. Since neither of us speak Japanese and wanted to explore the area, we booked a private tour for the day. SO glad we did! We had a tour through Japan Wonder Travel and were fortunate to have Yumiko as our guide. She was very informative of natural and cultural history as we toured. We went to Aokigahara Forest to the wind cave, which Yumiko informed us was in peak condition the day we went. The ice structures were beautiful! We then went to the ropeway in Kawaguchiko and had a great view of Mt. Fuji. After we went to lunch and had the local specialty, Hoto noodles, which were tasty. We went to the park on the lake and the to a sake distillery. The whole time Yumiko was very informative and easy to talk to. At the sake place she was so amazing at helping explain the sake creation process that the other tourists complimented her as a tour guide and asked us how we got in contact with her! Overall it was amazing and was the highlight of my two weeks in Japan. It was super customizable to whatever we wanted to do and we were not disappointed.
