About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Cristian C0 contributionsScam, delay, cancelled return to Valletta.AVOID!Very poor organization. They assured us that the pick up will arrive on time, it didn't. We phoned to be picked up. What a scam this company is. The boat tour was okish, they sell beverages on board but no cars, just cash, they don't give you a receipt. The commentary is pre registered. The return back from Sliema to Valletta was cancelled, the Indian guy from the company assured us that it will come at 4 pm than suddenly it didn't show up and it was cancelled. Be sure to avoid this company, there are others better!Written 7 February 2025
- deem2860 contributionsDISASTER GOZO AND COMINO TOURDISASTER TRIP TO GOZO AND COMINO Our trip was for Comino and Gozo We started off by getting the provided bus in St. Julian at 9.15am to go to the Silema ferry in Silema. The ferry leaves at 10.30am. So why not a 9.45 pick up? The ferry has one male and one female toilet which was dirty The journey to Gozo was grand there is no free bar as advertised. You get bits of local history information but not much We got dropped in Gozo, got on a bus which stops at a shop called Savina a overpriced tourist shop for 20 minutes eating into time on Gozo. Obviously the shop owners have a deal with the supreme company to stop there. The bus then dropped us into Victoria without any tourist advice apart from getting a train to the citadel for €3. We were supposed to get 3hrs on Gozo we got 1hr 20min after being dropped off to Victoria. So, by the time we got some lunch there wasn't time to go anywhere else which was so disappointing. With this company Gozo is not promoted very well and it felt like we were treated like a herd of goats from the very first minute on the ferry in Silema. So back on the bus and back to the ferry to head to Comino. Malta tourism needs to do something about access here it's such a shame not to have access for everyone. Elderly people and people in wheelchairs need to be informed that Comino isn't easily accessible, in fact incredibly dangerous expecting people to make their way up chiselled out rocks resembling steps with a flimsy hand rail. In actual fact on our way back our ferry had to drop a person off at Gozo who had fallen on the rocks. The ambulance was waiting for this person in Gozo. The times we were given for each stop were all wrong. Avoid Malta Sightseeing Tour of Gozo and Comino and Supreme Travel who they use. Absolutely useless. I would give them a minus score if possible.Written 27 January 2025
- RogerLowestoft0 contributionsNot The BestDecided to do this tour as to get an overview of Gozo & Comino Blue Lagoon. It was 42 Euro each and being picked up opposite the Phoenicia Hotel, Valletta. 09.30 pick up time and really from the start here the tour was poor, the coach was very late and people were making phone calls to find out where it was, when it arrived it was not opposite the hotel, the driver was so vague on providing information. Once arriving in Sliema to go on the boat it was packed and difficult to even get a seat. The best part of the tour was actually cruising along the Northern coast of Malta where the views of St. Pauls Bay & Mellieha were good. Upon arrival in Gozo we were headed around like cattle total free for all, no one organising anything. Boarded the bus to Vitoria but had very little time to really explore. The went off to Comino and then retuned to pick us up to then go back, we had over 2 hours sitting around as the place where the boats stop is very tatty and we after a while went and sat back on the boat and could not get back to Valletta quick enough. The cruise boat itself was not up to holding the amount of people on board, only 2 toilets and they became very dirty in quick time, the crew were really about getting tips acting the jokers during the trip. Eventually got back to the mainland, got on the transfer coach, when we arrived near to the main bus station the driver just stopped on the side of the road, never said anything, so we guessed this was our drop point! Similar to a mystery tour. Hindsight definitely go a bit more up market, considering the company do these tours on a daily basis they certainly have not improved.Written 19 January 2025
- Navigate477722495910 contributionsGreat display after 3hr wait …Vender should provide more details about the event and what is actually entailed. Had to wait over 3hrs for fireworks with very few places to sit and get a drink or even warm up. Fireworks lasted about 10 min and did not see the end as bus was leaving to return us to hotels. Very odd and laborious evening.Written 13 December 2024
- purdie20100 contributionsStay clear of this company risk to lifeBooked this through on the beach as transfers from and to airport, picked up at airport 15 min late but driver was lovey and bus nice. Different story coming back. Driver rude aggressive and bus dirty. All light on on dashboard and bus full of fumes to the point that my mother in law who has COPD could not breath and my neice with MS was ill and had to be carried out the bus. Contacted On the beach 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 like they cared they had there money. I was told as I had not photos etc what could they do. Like I had time to take photos was dealing with two ill family members. They have refunded the return bus cost but it was never about the money. It was about safety and regards to life and there was none from the driver or company who sent that bus. The driver was ok he had the window open but the other windows would not open ShockingWritten 14 November 2024
- C1509VZmk0 contributionsAVOID!!Avoid this company at all costs. Their hop on hop off busses do not run on time. The audio guides on the buses are hit or miss, some jacks work, some don't. All salespeople need better training to deal with the public. They ALL have an attitude and are not empathetic at all - I suspect this is due to the amount of complaints they receive. The tour by boat to Gozo (€42) was terrible. It took 3 hours to get there and once there they take you by bus to Victoria where you have just 2 hours to spend and then it's another 3 hours back to Sliema. Save your time, take a public fast ferry for €7.50 and it takes 45 minutes! Then you have plenty of time to handers around Gozo. You can take Uber or Bolt to travel to and from the Ferry terminal on Gozo. It was €10 including tip for me from Victoria to the ferry terminal.Written 29 October 2024
- 896dinahs0 contributionsA special day ruined by Supreme TravelBooked the Gozo, Comino and Blue Lagoon tour for 2 October 2024 (our wedding anniversary) The booking agent in Sliema (Oliver) assured us a hop on, hop off bus would be provided and we would be able to visit the Ta Pinu church. After a very long ferry trip to Gozo, where we were told there would be commentary on the bus as we travelled around Gozo (this never happened), we were taken by the Green Bus to Vittoria where the driver told us that we had to disembark and that he would not be taking us to anywhere else on the island other than back to the wharf for the ferry to Comino. This absolutely spoilt our day as we had been totally misinformed by the booking agent. Spoke to Oliver the next day, he assured us that the driver should have taken us to other sights in Gozo. I rang head office who said "they don't do that anymore, the bus stops in Vittoria only". The manager was apologetic but firm in saying he could do nothing about it. I relayed this to Oliver who offeredf us 5 Euro as compensation and told us not to come back complaining again - I politely refused his 5 euro - what a joke and an insult. We would never use this company's services again, maybe they need to teach their booking agents how to relay the correct information, so that prospective customers can be well informed before they spend hundres of hard earned dollars. As an aside, we were in Sliema a couple of days later and could hear another booking agent from Supreme Travel giving out the same incorrect information that we were given - poor unaware customer!Written 16 October 2024
- chiaratB1800TV0 contributionsJaime and Jaden best in the worldMagical experience, the captain and the crew are fantastic and very nice, granted the beautiful view throughout the journey, the blue lagoon was full of people but, despite this, the water didn't seem real so much so that it was beautiful. highly recommended, at the end we even saw dolphins🥰❤️🇲🇹Written 14 October 2024
- carpet5420160 contributionsSupreme Travel Buggiba MaltaHi, my name is David. Staying in Buggiba Square apartments, It was very handy to find your Tour shop on the square run by Maria, who was very helpful and friendly, and took time to explain about the various trips, nothing was too much trouble for her. This helped a lot as my friends hadn`t been to Malta before. In the end ,my friends and I decided on two trips ,Mosta, Mdina & Valletta, then to Gozo. Both of which we all really enjoyed, it was great to see the buildings, Churches and learn of the history. Both of the guides we had were very good. I would just like to say a big thank you to your company for providing us with some great tours, and special thanks to Maria, who`s help choosing the tours really helped. We are already planning on coming back next year, so will be popping in again and booking some more trips. Best Regards DavidWritten 7 October 2024
- Debbie P0 contributionsAvoid, lacking customer service!Completely disorganised and lacking basic knowledge about trips. We booked our trip and were advised the bus would pick us up. We waited over 40 minutes and had to travel to the office who sold us the tickets. They didn’t realise you had to call and book someone to collect us. This was someone who represented Supreme Travel. The next day the same thing happened. None of the employees want to engage with you once you have paid for the trip. They are so unhelpful and grumpy and desperately need training in how to provide good customer service. I would not recommend this company. You will be wasting your money!Written 21 September 2024
- Pierce R0 contributionsCoach Transfer from HellLoveHoliday’s organised our coach transfer with Supreme Travel from MLA to Salini. Never again. At first our coach driver - who I will refrain from naming, but have done so to Supreme Travel directly - seemed fairly reasonable. He did joke that he was unwilling to store our hold luggage on the coach for us, but did so in the end. With the benefit of hindsight, this was the first red flag. Approximately 20 minutes into our journey we passed the front of our hotel, Salini Resort. Both my partner & I trusted we were on a set route, as we had been made aware there were to be multiple stops at different hotels. In reality, our coach driver had little to no understanding of the geography of Malta and wasn’t paying enough attention to notice the name - which was lit up in bright lights. Perhaps this was because he was on his phone consistently. A few more minutes passed before another passenger made the driver aware he had passed the front of their hotel, too. It was at this moment his demeanour changed. The driver began shouting & swearing at us, threatening to take us back to MLA airport, and eventually stopping the bus to walk down the aisle imposing himself on us physically. I must add the passengers were predominantly young females. After significant deliberation, throughout which he never refrained from threatening & swearing at us, he succumbed to our fairly reasonable request: to drop us at the remaining 3 hotels. I must add, one of the stops was a solo female passenger who another passenger felt urged to escort off the bus because of a concern for her welfare. We did finally arrive at our hotel, after passing it 3 times. A journey which should have taken approx. 1 hour, had taken more than double that. The driver refused to make the short journey off the main road to the hotel reception, instead forcing us to depart the coach on a dual carriageway. Unsurprisingly, he refused to remove our luggage from the coach personally and so one passenger took it upon themselves to fulfil his obligations, whilst negotiating oncoming traffic. The whole ordeal was topped off by the driver repeatedly swearing at us as we disembarked the coach. Calling us names I do not wish to repeat and even threatening one young girl with an extremely inappropriate remark. I urge anyone considering Supreme Travel to think again. I am reasonably well-travelled and have never had such a horrifying experience.Written 20 September 2024
- island_bryony0 contributions0/10 Gozo, Blue Lagoon tour.Left it too late to book one of the popular tours so booked this on a whim at a shop in Buggiba. Should have read the reviews first. We did the Gozo and Blue Lagoon tour. It was pretty disorganised with lots of waiting in the hot sun for the next transport and no one telling us what was happening or where to go. When buses did arrive in Gozo it was a complete bun fight to get on. We had an hour in Victoria before heading back to the harbour and going to the blue lagoon. I'm not sure why the Blue Lagoon is so popular tbh. We disembarked onto rocks and it was quite a scramble, not for those unsteady on their feet. No option for staying on the boat as we were getting a different one back. The only real positive was the boat crew who were very friendly. All in all I wouldn't recommend this tour. Organise your own transport to Gozo and skip the Blue Lagoon, or book one of the better ones.Written 14 September 2024
- Harvey T0 contributionsNot for usWe’d believe if you were wanting a boat ride just to lie about for 10ths then this is for you however as a middle aged couple this was not for us, we were made to believe that you could get off the boat at Gozo and blue lagoon and walk around but the boat moored at the rocks with no way up to the top!!!! We were bored as anything as well as the couple next to us, we can not fault the staff &boat as very pleasant but just not for us at all !!! # research beforeWritten 5 September 2024

Three stops for swimming, enough time to relax to music played while cruising. Interesting commentary from the friendly captain about historical spots. Thumbs up to all staff. Recommended.Written 19 August 2024
- feldy19830 contributionsAwful. Unless you like sunburn.Simply a horrific experience. Picked up from the hotel late. Arrived at the port and had to wait half an hour with no shade. No-one there to direct or help. Boat arrived and was mobbed. Typical trash playing music on their phones. No commentary at all except to try and sell speedboat tours. More waiting at Mgarr to get a bus to Gozo with no shade. 2 hours free in Gozo, no map or suggestions given. Bus back to the boat. Off to the Blue Lagoon. Dangerously unsafe getting on and off. 50 minutes later back on the boat. Totally trash experience.Written 7 August 2024

The trip to Gigantia is well worth a visit. I would have liked the trip to spend more time at Gigantia and less time in the Capital Victoria as by then we were truly tired out with all the coach changes and the ferry.
More time could be spent at a beautiful little inlet where we had lunch.
The train ride is also well worth the effort and great coastal views were had of the ancient salt pits on the beach.

gozo island very dry and arid but also picture perfect.
the ruins and coast line were enjoyable.

We did not start with the star attraction and spent less than 30 minutes at Gigantijs- the reason for our visit. We were rushed through the explanatory area by the body guide and half the coach had to wait for a Russian talk by our guide, the Russian speakers were all allowed to then visit the site. Once the English speakers were given the same talk, we had 25 minutes max to see the temples. Very disappointed. The meal was awful - as vegetarians we were simply offered the vegetables. We left the ice cream as it was too frozen to eat. Our guide was quite bossy and after she was dropped off on the way home the coach driver, who was admittedly a good driver, he dropped the remaining guests close to the hotel so they had to negotiate busy roads. I had read some really negative comments at previously about this company - Supreme Travel - and really hoped for better. Apart from the hurried visit to most sites we were left to hang about in Victoria after the awful meal. Bad planning. Felt sorry for the guests who did not speak Russian and whose first language was not English

Exactly as described.
Picked up on time at 9.30 am at the Hotel Excelsior.
Overland journey to the ferry approx. 1.5 hours
11.30 am ferry to Gozo.
Duration approx. 25 minutes
Picked up by bus from Mgarr (harbor) to the Ä gantija temples. Arrival 12.45 pm
Stay for approx. 30 minutes.
Continue to Marsalforn and change to a train.
Drive through the city and along the coast past the salt fields to Panwie Solne and back.
After approx. 1 hour back on the bus and continue to a tourist shop
Handicrafts ;-).
Stay 20 minutes, which was OK. 2.45 pm
Then on to the west coast: Dweja Bay, optional boat trip. However, we decided to take pictures of the coast, which was great.
Then continue to Victoria for a late lunch at 3.45 pm. There was macaroni, fried potatoes, vegetables and chicken or fish. Not a highlight, but completely OK.
After that, 1 hour at your leisure. We recommend climbing up to the citadel because of the wonderful view and the St George's Basilica.
At 5.45pm, we head to the harbor and get on the ferry at 6.30pm. After a long and well-organized excursion, we're back at the hotel at 8.30pm.

Stay away! Total waste of money. Everything was terrible. We had an amazing walking tour with Coulors tour the day before and thought this would be good, considering 3times more expensive fee! The Russian/English speaking guid had no real information about anything! They only care about stopping at craft shops and making you buy over priced merchandise. Bus was 20 minutes late at start and the late on every pick up. There is a 10 minute boat ride for which you have to pay cash or you wouldn’t go! Lunch was aweful also out of pocket. You can do all for $20 The tour ended at 730 instead of 530.

We booked an excursion to Gozo with Sightseeing tour at the kiosk located on the Sliema seafront - SUPREME boat. The bus that would have taken us to the port arrived half an hour late and they didn't call all the participants who were waiting and we were left stranded! They returned our money very rudely. They also say that they pay for the ferry but that's not true, you have to pay for it on the way back.
The day before we went on an excursion to Comino with them... 200 people crammed onto the boat and onto the beaches. TO AVOID!!!!!!!!!!

25 minutes late for pickup. Chaotic Guide who didn't know what to do. Very poorly understood English explanation (Guide was Hungarian and in experience not long in Malta...). Guide was also constantly busy with some Hungarian compatriots so that the other passengers received little service.... Organization (as far as you can call it...) very amateurish.
Save your money and spend it on an Uber that drops you off in person. Get a local guide. It might cost a little more but it will also save you a lot of frustration...

This was a wonderful tour and we were very fortunate to have gone on one of the calmest sea days (my husband is not a boat fan).
We were picked up right near our hotel, very convenient, and were taken to where we met our guide and tour bus. From there we went to the ferry, tickets included, and ferried over to Gozo.
Once we reached Gozo, we did all the sights advertised in the tour. Marsalforn and the salt pans (on a trackless train), the Azure Window area, Ggantjia monolithic Temple, artisan Craft village and Victoria for late lunch and time on your own.
Everything was absolutely breathtaking and you need to see it for yourself.
I felt the tour was well organized and the guide did a great job of keeping everyone on track and moving along well. She also gave a lot of wonderful information about the island, history and Maltese people.
There meal was very nice, as a vegetarian I felt that there was enough food to choose from and the meal was good.
The only downside, and this is beyond the control of the tour company, if that by the time we finished lunch in Victoria and had time to sightsee, most of the shops were closed since it was winter, getting dark and there weren't a lot of tourists/shoppers around.
Other than that, if you go on this tour you won't be disappointed.

The worst tour I’ve been on,the guide was very hard to understand, they overbooked the coach so two people had to go on the next one.The ferry was like a cattle truck, we didn’t see much of Gozo except for a “craft shop”?we were rushed through theGgantja temples, lunch was pretty awful,Some of the ladies on the tour had difficulty walking so far to pick up the coach after the craft shop and lunch as both places were a good distance from where the coach was parked and the guide said if we were late to the coach we would have to make our own way back to Malta. All in all a waste of 114 euros. We wouldn’t recommend Hello Malta Tours to anybody.
