Luka was a great tour guide, he took us to family friendly places as we had our two children with us and a great lunch spot. Company was flexible in changing date due to weather conditions and extremely easy to deal with. Would recommend for anyone coming to Croatia and wanting to hire a private boat ☺️

We hired the Benetau Flyer 8 Spacedeck without a skipper (one member of our group had a speedboat licence) for one day in August 2024. Tamaris had the most competitive prices (we considered boats from 11 different operators) and Toni and his team maintained good communication throughout the booking process and prior to the day of booking. They also offered honest advice, which was not aimed at maximising profit but towards getting the best experience for the client. The boat was in excellent condition, we were provided with a free coolbox for our drinks (although the boat has a mini fridge already) and we thoroughly enjoyed our ride across to Drvenik & Krknjaš, then onto Šolta and back to Čiovo. A member of Toni’s team was available throughout the day for any questions, and he met us at the petrol station to assist with refuelling (and fighting off other boats trying to refuel and make it back for 6pm), after which we returned the boat. We recommend Tamaris to those who are looking for an easy-going team of young professionals who have competitive prices without compromising on quality and who are passionate about their work.

Excellent trip - our guide Toma asked what we’d like to do, and made good suggestions suited to us. He was very friendly and relaxed. Exactly what we wanted - he took us to Brac and Solta, to beautifully quiet beaches and coves, so we could enjoy swimming without larger tourist boats and crowds. We had a leisurely lunch stop in Solta - catch of the day was fabulous. Toni (owner) was efficient, very easy to deal with and very communicative. A fantastic trip. Thank you Toni and Toma!

My wife and I booked a day tour to experience Croatia from the sea. We chose the 50 share of blue trip. We got excellent help from the CEO Toni, who helped us select and book the trip. He also made sure that the boat both picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel. Super convenient! Our super friendly guide Toma made us feel comfortable and safe while he showed us beautiful lagoons, ship wrecks, beaches, and small cozy towns. The boat was clean and in excellent condition and had a sunroof which is an absolute necessity on scorching hot days. Lunch was served at a great restaurant on the island of Šolta. The staff was super friendly and served up excellent fish and good meat. There was never any stress and Toma was always looking to give us the best possible experience and comfort. He is a capable skipper that made sure to adjust to changing winds and waves. You won’t be disappointed if you book a trip with Tamari’s Charter.

Full day private tour for family of 3. Our son, 13 years and us in our fifties. We were picked up at Le Meridien Hotel against a small charge for xtra fuel, instead of us taking a taxi in traffic from Podstrana to Split. Skipper Toma arrived in a Joker Clubman 24 - great boat. Toma is polite and very professional. We went to the Blue Lagoon, stopped for ice cream in Maslinica. Lunch in Stomorska, Solta was great. Exciting snorkling and a nice swim by the wreck. Highly recommend the trip and the company. Email correspondence with Toni upfront was very informative and he replied within hours.

Wonderful experience. We opted to go on private tour to give us more flexibility. Adriatic sea id gorgeous. Well worth the expense. Ivan was great skipper. So glad I did it.

We had a wonderful time on a day trip to Hvar and the local blue Lagoon swimming areas. Our Skipper Ivan was terrific! I would definitely ask for he to be your skipper. Ivan was knowledgeable about the local history with good stories of the past events. The restaurant he took us to was top notch, just pull up and eat awesome seafood. When in the lagoon areas, ask about Mojito Man. Refreshing Mojiots at a great price. Made with the guys home grown mint. 100% satisfied with our trip

Toma was our skipper and he was incredible! We brought our 3 kids(5,9,12) and he was so patient with them. He brought us to Trogir first and we walked around a bit. Then snorkels in blue lagoon and went to solta where we had iced tea and gelato. Following this we got lunch at sismis-the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever seen. This was Toma recommendation. Then to the ship reck and back to Split. Our favorite day by far in Croatia!

A beautiful, sunny day visiting Solta, The Blue Lagoon and Trogir. All arranged by Toni and skippered by Luka. The boat came to collect us at a small pier close to our hotel which made things so easy. A short rain storm in the morning meant we just delayed for an hour and stayed on the boat a little later than planned - the guys were so flexible. It was all perfect.

What an experience! Sincere thanks to Toni for arranging the tour on a short notice. Our captain Luca was a skilled and experienced sailor - he treated us so well and was extremely helpful, kind, and full of information he shared with us. This tour was the highlight of our lovely week in Trogir.

We chartered a boat for a week to explore the islands by ourselves and booked a mornings training session with a skipper to refresh our mooring techniques etc to make sure we left feeling confident handling the boat alone. The boat was great and the training really useful. Toni and his colleague Tomma were both great, really nice guys. Patient and accommodating with the training, easy to communicate with and always available if there was anything we needed whilst we had the boat. The boat was well equipped and Toni sent us off with lots of great local tips for itineraries and great restaurants to help us enjoy exploring.

Toni was amazing with his communication as we are UK based and we were confident with our change of plan and weather conditions Toni would arrange for us to see the Islands and tour. We had booked pick up and drop off from Split Airport and each time Tamaris Charter were on time and looked after our luggage. Would recommend Tamaris Charter for all your tours and transport needs. My family and I had a limited time to spend in Split but would love to be able to visit the Blue Cave and Hvar while we were in the area. We wanted a private charter so that we can maximize our time. After I read the reviews on TA, I decided to reach out to Tamaris Charter, and Toni (the CEO/Founder) responded very promptly via email. Toni was great and easy to work with. My family and I had many questions and he answered them very promptly via emails, every single time. Payment for the private charter was also seamless. It was done before the trip, through a secure online payment portal. Toni emailed our skipper name and contact info the day before the boat trip. This is helpful as we were about 10mins late that morning due to jetlag, and were able to inform Toma, our skipper. It was unfortunately a cold day with potential rain storm in the afternoon on the day we took the boat trip. Despite of the wether challenges, Toma, our skipper, planned the visits that day with that in mind, and we were able to hit every single spots. Toma took good care of us. He even offered and lended a jacket for our daughter who was not super prepared for the cold day. He covered the sides of the boat to make sure we won’t get splashed. Toma was an amazing and experienced skipper. He got us back in Split before the storm hits in full force. If and when we get back in Split, I would reach out to Toni again and hopefully Toma would be able to be our skipper again. I highly recommend Tamaris Charter for boating needs while in Split.

Our family, ten of us spanning three generations, explored Yellowstone National Park with Off the Beaten Path this past December. The entire trip was a truly magical, never to be forgotten adventure. From Bozeman, Montana to Mammoth Hot Springs, the Lamar Valley, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, old Faithful and the Geyser Basins and so much more, finishing at the 320 Ranch our trip was flawless. Beginning with our first phone call with Judy, to planning the details with Carrie, to every moment we were so fortunate to spend with our amazing guide Brenda, we were treated like family. In the park travel is by snow coach, our two drivers were also incredible guides and teachers, each day was fun, exciting and very educational.
