        Excellent experience
Fantastic trip to the hunter valley, very well organized by the tour operator. Choice of vineyards was excellent - very beautiful views of the valley, excellent choice of wines offered by the owners to all tasters and really good insights for wine lovers. Friendly staff. In one of the vineyards we could also see kangaroos Patricia, our tour guide was absolutely amazing, fabulous insights about the landmarks all the way. She's delightful company and keeps a perfect check on time! Highly recommend this trip and ask for Patricia to be your tour guide, you'll love it!

        Interesting day
Efficient transfer to the Hunter Valley. Enjoyed being with a range of people from around the world. The three wineries visited were friendly and exposed us to some unfamiliar wines which was very interesting. Lovely lunch included and the cheese shop tasty

        Splendid through and through!
Had a great time at the tour - we had 2 wine tastings followed by a good lunch and a cheese tasting, a chocolate tasting and then a final third wine tasting. The weather was splendid and the arrangements were very thoughtful. Our one little suggestion is to position the cheese tasting between the first two wine tastings since it gets heavy to have cheese post a full lunch. Otherwise, we had a convenient pickup and drop off and a very friendly tour guide, Ben, who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. We also saw so many wild kangaroos! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience, very knowledge guide/driver (Nigel) and very knowledgeable wine and local produce merchants. Clearly very passionate about their products, a great day and a brilliant way to taste locally produced wine/cheese/chocolate along with seeing the stunning Australian countryside. Oh an amazing to see some kangaroo’s too!

Great day with wine, cheese and chocolate in Hunter Valley
We had wine, cheese and chocolate. Everything amazing and Jeff and Nigel were super nice! As a feedback, I would start the tour on a later time or just change the order of the tour. Starting to drink at 10, before any food it was a little tough. I would prefer to start at 9am and be back at 7pm.

Fantastic trip, great value for money
Jeff and Nigel were brilliant hosts and guides, took us to some fantastic boutique wineries and gave some great insight into the local area. We loved all 3 vineyards including Saddlers Creek, Hanging Tree Wines and Ernest Hill. Great value for money, and well worth doing if you’re in Sydney.

Pros - why we rated this tour as a 4.
Loved our tour guide Jeff. Very kind, and friendly. Appreciated the tips and stories.
Loved trying to get off the beaten path and away from large buses.
Appreciated Jeff’s ability to be flexible and adjust tour stops as needed - even adding one!

Cons - why we did not rate this tour as a 5.
Seats in the tour van were not comfortable for such a lengthy ride. Seats and overall van interior need some upkeep. Definitely showed some wear and tear. Audio system was a little spotty at time. Air conditioning worked very well though.
Jeff shared some great stories, some recent history and even did demos. We would have enjoyed more info on geology, and distant history of the region.

Still recommend the tour but want the tour operator to know that the seats need to be updated; and tour guides perhaps more prepared.

Patricia was a wonderful and cheerful guide who first took us to Featherdale Park and was very knowledgeable about the animals there. The animals were active and easy to see and feeding the kangaroos was the best part. The Blue Mountains were beautiful and even though it was a little rainy, we went on a nice hike to waterfalls. The Three Sisters was fogged in so Patricia went out of her way to take us to another lookout where the clouds parted and we could see it perfectly. We went to Boars head lookout had a nice lunch in a local town. The ride was comfortable although the seating was a bit tight for 22 people. Well worth the money to not have to worry about driving, parking and finding the right place.

Let me begin by saying that this tour is absolutely amazing, and what makes it more special is Scottie's touch to it. We have never seen such a professional tour guide who goes out of his way to make sure that his passengers enjoy themselves to the fullest. His knowledge is fantastic, and we would absolutely recommend boutique tours and Scottie's services.

Tour ran on time, Feathersdale Zoo is excellent to see all Australian wildlife up close such as Kola, Kangaroo, Dingo, wallabies, Tasmanian Devil. 1hr 15mins for tour which is not enough time to appreciate fully. Left there to go to Lee a small town for lunch, again 1hr for lunch. Time to get into the best stuff you paid for, bush walks in the mountains.

We stopped about three or four times on the trip. Approx 10-30mins for a quick photo and back on the bus. Your guide struggled to find decent spots at they were busy. Some walks shut due to falling rocks and damaged bridges. We found one walk which only allowed 45mins to do before going back on the bus back to Sydney.

The Three Sisters tour from the information centre is 20-30mins each way from a look out point. We walked really fast to achieve this and arrived 5mins late. A rushed experience with minimal and zero bush walking.

For someone looking to fully embrace a day full of calm walks or hikes you will be disappointed.

Other than that Blue Mountains is incredible and would recommend doing this on your own accord.

The outline of the tour says bush walks so would expect some decent walks. But this is poorly advertised from my point of view.

Bus driver was very friendly and informative about the scenery and history. But the trip needs to be planned better. Lastly I’m not one for complaining this is just my opinion, I would be better to start at Blue Mountains first and work your way back not the other way around. It can be very busy during summer season with tourists hence why going in the morning would be better.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the Blue Mountains and highlighting that this tour does not offer time for extended long bushwalks. We are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations regarding bushwalks and will update our tour descriptions to make this clearer in the future. We are very glad that you enjoyed the animals at Featherdale Wildlife Park and appreciated the commentary and friendliness of your guide. As you mention, this tour provides the opportunity to get a taste of the Blue Mountains at a number of different lookouts and short guided bushwalks of 10-45 minutes (weather-permitting). Recent heavy weather has caused closure of some of our regular walks for safety reasons, which is beyond our control, so we have a variety of locations that we will visit on different tours. This time of the year is the busiest of the whole year and even some of the more remote places in the Blue Mountains are busy, so we have evolved our tour timing over 20 years to make the most of the available opportunities. Thank you again for sharing your feedback, and we hope that you have other chances to explore the wonderful Blue Mountains at your leisure.

We had a great time with Boutique Tours in the Blue Mountains! It was so nice not to be on a giant coach with loads of others - we got to go to a bush walk to a lovely waterfall that I don't think a larger group could have done. Our guide, Steve, was extremely knowledgeable and provided great information (and put up with our incessant questions!) throughout the day. We had very little time in the area, and this was a great way to see the mountains. My only slight qualm was the wildlife park - it was neat to see the animals, but it didn't seem like a park that prioritized the animal's habitats. Would prefer to go to one of the others that takes better care.

The Blue Mountains are amazing! Walking down to the base of Wentworth falls was a highlight. It was worth the steep walk back up out of the valley. If you have a bum knee you should just go to Prince’s overlook near the top.
Our tour guide Smokey was a gem. He has been guiding 26 years and knows everything there is to know about the park. He is also a font of information about Australian history, and is very affable. We learned so much from him! I highly recommend this tour and this guide.

A day full of emotions with meeting koalas and wallabies. Our guide Patricia is very friendly and very professional. Very attentive and with a lot of humor, she introduced us to the sumptuous landscapes of the blue mountains. That's wonderful. To do again without hesitation. Thanks again Patricia

I had a wonderful day trip. Patricia was an excellent guide. We went to Featherdale Wildlife Park first and beat the crowds. The animals are adorable and I paid $4 (AUS) for a cup of food to feed the kangaroos and wallabies. Since they are mostly bred there, they’re friendly and will take food from your hand (if it’s the morning and they haven’t had lots of food already). It was a bit foggy for the beginning of the Blue Mountains tour, but after lunch it had cleared up and we had a lovely view. ***this is a hiking tour so if you have mobility issues it’s not for you. I’m not in great shape (and will have sore legs tomorrow), but I was able to do it. Overall great day and great experience. I would recommend this!

Holy crap!!! What an awesome day!!!
The trip and the hikes were amazing!!!
What really made the trip was our guide, Scottie…he was so informative while he was conversing with us. He gave us so great information and great stories behind the rock formations and the waterfalls and pools.
The stories of how the aboriginal used the celestial bodies and the rock formations to live. He is definitely a life-long learner
Scottie is super passionate and it definitely shows I would highly recommend a tour with Scottie.
