Must see tour - great guide (Scotty)
Scotty was our tour guide and he was fab! Very knowledgeable, helpful and really went out of his way to make us have a good day. His chattyness, charisma and fun jokes enhanced our day and kept the bus ride interesting between the lookout points and the wildlife centre. The weather didn’t play ball today but Scotty helped ensure this didn’t put a dampener on the today and in the end we all got the views we were there for. Thanks to Scotty’s perseverance. Thank you!

        Great Blue Mountain day trip!
Well planned trip; responsive company; our guide, Scotty, was excellent. Scotty had an impressive breadth and depth of knowledge and a great sense of humor who also tried to ensure everyone was happy. Plus, he was a good driver. The vistas and walks at the Blue Mountain park were beautiful and the native animal park exceeded our expectations - more experiential and up-close vs a zoo. A great trip to break up the city time in Sydney.

        An amazing day!
We could not have had a better day. The first winery was exceptional and the cheese tasting was really good as well. The pairing of wine and chocolate was also good but the wine at the first one was the best. Our driver was really good, friendly and full of information about the locations as well as interesting information along the way. We even saw kangaroos! We had such a perfect day!

        Great day
Lovely scenery and just enough of a taster of hunter valley. Driver was entertaining and knowledgeable. A great vibe as it was a small group and the drive was lovely also

        Fantastic Day Trip
We have just visited Australia from the UK and one of the highlights of our holiday has to be our Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Tour. Our driver/guide was Jim. We cannot praise him enough. He is engaging and knowledgeable about so many things, the trip up to the Hunter Valley, (approx 2.5 hours) passed very quickly with Jim telling us so much interesting stuff about the history and development of Sydney and then the areas that we were passing through and even about the trees and wildlife. Jim is very easy to get along with and has a great sense of humour, and it's clear he genuinely wants everyone to have a great day. The tours are for small groups and feel quite relaxed and personal. We visited 2 small vineyards in the morning and tasted 6 or 7 wines at each and then we had some lovely cheese tasting. This was followed by a very pleasant lunch at a Golf/Country Club. Our dessert consisted of another wine tasting at a local vineyard this time paired with chocolate, and it was interesting to see how the wine changed when eating the chocolate with it. We highly recommend Boutique Tours.

        Epic day out
Absolutely brilliant day. My friend and I booked this tour and because of the COVID impacting tourism and it being a weekday, were the only ones. Company still honoured the booking so we had a private tour which we were so grateful for. Went to four different wineries which was plenty, split up with much-needed lunch. Would definitely rebook. Even if the van was full it would have been a small group. Driver was very knowledgeable. Really just fantastic day - a must-do for tourists and locals alike.

Great trip! Saw many Roos, emu, wombats, birds including kookaburras! John was the perfect tour guide. A good lunch and dinner are included. Long day but passed quickly.

Full but well balanced with wine, scenery and lunch
Great wine tour with Jim to Hunter Valley. Takes about 2.5 hours to get up there but Jim was full of useful information and the journey passed really quickly. Enjoyed tasting 7 wines at each of two small wineries, then had a nice lunch at local country club, a visit to a local cheese shop and a chocolate shop next door then off for a final tasting of 7 wines. Just about the right level of tastings (about 1/4 glass each) and great guide

        Fantastic and memorable day.
We attended this tour in February 2020 and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. Instead of being brought to a tourist park or a zoo this tour took us with a very small group of people into an adorable town for lunch, Then off in search of animals In their natural habitats With a stop at the historic local pub for dinner. The food was fabulous! It is not guaranteed to see anything but we were able to see probably over 100 kangaroos, 5 Emus, and 13 wombats. Many of the animals come out at dusk. John was our guide and we found him energetic, enthusiastic, very kind and entertaining. Very beautiful scenery and so much more exciting to find the animals in their natural habitat then stuck in a small enclosure at a zoo. Thank you boutique tours of Australia!

        Take the ride......
an awesome way to see the animals and things you won't experience in the city. Pick up and drop off points were limited so check into that. Our driver was on time and friendly. We saw more animals closer to dusk as it was very hot the day of our tour. We enjoyed seeing the kangaroos, wallabys, wombats and emus. We even saw a joey go in the pouch! Spot lighting at night for wombats was definitely a first for us. Our tour took us the Bee and Bear cafe along with the Surveyor General Inn in Berrima both were unique and well worth the visit.

        Absolutely amazing tour!!
This tour was perfect. I’m so glad I did it! We saw tons of animals: 3 adult emus, 2 emu chicks, countless kangaroos, 2 wallabies, 2 foxes, 5 wombats (my personal favorite), a few water monitors, a skink and a plethora of beautiful birds. Our guide, Chris, was a wealth of information. He knew so much about the wildlife and did an excellent job teaching our little group about Australian wildlife. He also graciously answered questions about Australia in general. Highly recommend this tour!

        Wildlife tour w/Scotty
Our wildlife tour with Scotty was amazing. Scotty clearly new exactly where to take us and exactly when. We must have seen over 100 kangaroos and wallabies, at least 6 or 7 wombats and he even brought us to a hidden spot on a river at a specific time and and we saw a platypus in the wild. Scotty was clearly a great guy and the perfect guide. His extensive knowledge was obvious and he made us all comfortable and constantly had us laughing. We were extremely impressed with Scotty and the tour. He reminded us a lot of an American wildlife show host we love named Josh Gates so we have dubbed Scotty the Australian Josh Gates. I hope if we visit Sydney again we can book another tour with Scotty. He even gave us advice for the rest of our trip and we listened, we are glad we listened because he was spot on with all of his recommendations.

Tour ran on time, Feathersdale Zoo is excellent to see all Australian wildlife up close such as Kola, Kangaroo, Dingo, wallabies, Tasmanian Devil. 1hr 15mins for tour which is not enough time to appreciate fully. Left there to go to Lee a small town for lunch, again 1hr for lunch. Time to get into the best stuff you paid for, bush walks in the mountains.

We stopped about three or four times on the trip. Approx 10-30mins for a quick photo and back on the bus. Your guide struggled to find decent spots at they were busy. Some walks shut due to falling rocks and damaged bridges. We found one walk which only allowed 45mins to do before going back on the bus back to Sydney.

The Three Sisters tour from the information centre is 20-30mins each way from a look out point. We walked really fast to achieve this and arrived 5mins late. A rushed experience with minimal and zero bush walking.

For someone looking to fully embrace a day full of calm walks or hikes you will be disappointed.

Other than that Blue Mountains is incredible and would recommend doing this on your own accord.

The outline of the tour says bush walks so would expect some decent walks. But this is poorly advertised from my point of view.

Bus driver was very friendly and informative about the scenery and history. But the trip needs to be planned better. Lastly I’m not one for complaining this is just my opinion, I would be better to start at Blue Mountains first and work your way back not the other way around. It can be very busy during summer season with tourists hence why going in the morning would be better.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the Blue Mountains and highlighting that this tour does not offer time for extended long bushwalks. We are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations regarding bushwalks and will update our tour descriptions to make this clearer in the future. We are very glad that you enjoyed the animals at Featherdale Wildlife Park and appreciated the commentary and friendliness of your guide. As you mention, this tour provides the opportunity to get a taste of the Blue Mountains at a number of different lookouts and short guided bushwalks of 10-45 minutes (weather-permitting). Recent heavy weather has caused closure of some of our regular walks for safety reasons, which is beyond our control, so we have a variety of locations that we will visit on different tours. This time of the year is the busiest of the whole year and even some of the more remote places in the Blue Mountains are busy, so we have evolved our tour timing over 20 years to make the most of the available opportunities. Thank you again for sharing your feedback, and we hope that you have other chances to explore the wonderful Blue Mountains at your leisure.

The Blue Mountains are amazing! Walking down to the base of Wentworth falls was a highlight. It was worth the steep walk back up out of the valley. If you have a bum knee you should just go to Prince’s overlook near the top.
Our tour guide Smokey was a gem. He has been guiding 26 years and knows everything there is to know about the park. He is also a font of information about Australian history, and is very affable. We learned so much from him! I highly recommend this tour and this guide.

We had a really great day seeing the blue mountains and at featherdale wildlife centre! Our tour guide Scotty went out of his way to make sure we saw the best possible views of the blue mountains even in the foggy conditions we were faced with in the morning! He took us to lots of amazing viewpoints throughout the day! Scotty kept us entertained throughout the day with lots of facts, information and great stories!

Great tour, I really enjoyed the day. The group is not too big, we got to see amazing views (also some of the more unknown ones which was really nice) and Ben talked about a lot of interesting things. Featherdale Wildlife park was also a nice stop. Loved it!

Fabulous experience! It was wonderful to be part of a small group with the best tour guide ever. The scenery was amazing!
Scotty made sure that we got out for short walks and saw many beautiful sights, including the most famous ones and out of the way ones.
We had a lunch stop in the pretty town of Leura and time at Featherdale Wildlife Park too.
Scotty talked throughout the whole trip — with all of us while in the very comfortable bus, and with us in ones and twos when we were off the bus. He is super knowledgeable and a wonderful story teller. He took care of each of us, always checking in to see how we were. Choose Scotty if you can, although he assured us that all their guides are good!

This tour is highly recommended - we had a super guide called Robert who was very knowledgeable and looked after us exceptionally well. Visited many lookouts at the Blue Mountains with outstanding views. Lunch was very nice and filling, and even nicer being next to the open fire as it was quite a windy day although blue skies which made perfect viewing. Well worth the money. Thank you

The tour was ok but would preferred to had more time at the Three Sisters and walk down the path to get closer instead of see the aboriginal show ( it was so childish and silly and completely waste of 30 mins we weren't the only ones that as there 7 in our tours and everyone thought it was so stupid, I'd felt I was at kindergarten sing along, and the chairs were so uncomfortable, basically it was tables with no back support and no cushions neither) John the driver had a few interesting information, but his trainee Ross was boring to listen too,.food was good but would liked to spend more time in the town where we had lunch (Leuer) had lunch and only had 15 mins then left...I would preferred to just book a simple tour to Blue Mountains...!
