We wouldn’t have had nearly the total experience had we gone to the match on our own. Ken will make the experience hands on and above all fun. - nikolausw1760 contributionsJapanese as they really are today😀Tokyo Giants vs. Yakult Swallows, what an outstandig experience! Thousands of escalating japanese men an women of all ages, both groups peacefully side by side. After all these Shrine-, Sumo- and Geisha-things… thats a part of todays culture in Tokyo (since 90 years). Despite a change of schedule (by the Giants), the event was fantastic because of the reaction of Ken. Fast, reliable and professional. Best seat! Excellent view! Perfectly organized.Written 2 August 2024

Ken was a fantastic host for our small group and we had a great time learning about the sumo culture in Japan. He is very passionate and did a wonderful job teaching us about the lifestyle and how these athletes end up in the ring. We would highly recommend spending a few hours while in Tokyo to learn about sumo with Ken.

Very last minute decision to try to find tickets for the Grand Sumo Tournament in Nagayo. Ken helped and did his best to find us the best tickets possible. And on Sunday we received confirmation for Monday! So took the train from Osaka and had a great day. Ken informed me about the seating and rules in the stadium (& gave some great tips), as well as the app with a lot more Sumo info. Would highly recommend this unique Japanese, traditional experience!

We had a great day with Ken at the sumo tournament. If you've tried to find tickets to the tournament you know how difficult it is. Not only did Ken get us great seats, the pre-tournament tour of the Ryogoku sumo town area was wonderful. If you are visiting Japan and want to learn about this wonderful sport and it's culture then you need to check this out!

The tour was fun and interactive and kept our three kids (9, 14, 16) engaged throughout. Seeing the sumo wrestlers train up close really shows the impressive power and learning about the links to religion and culture is fantastic. Shame the stadium was not open due to the impending tournament.

Ken took us to some very interesting places around the sumo arena, some beautiful parks, historic spots and a wonderful samurai sword shop with gorgeous authentic handmade blades of all kinds and beautiful accessories.
This tour was entertaining, informative, and enjoyable in every way. Ken is an easygoing person, very flexible and willing to share all kinds of things that he has learned from being in Japan and I am grateful to him for a wonderful day.
