We were for a week in Lisabon, and it was difficult to find a divecenter by myself, so this company helped us to arrange our diving tour with mega dive, and we enjoyed ourselves a lot!

The dive sites are fair with several large wrecks within 20-30 min with speed boat from the harbor. The visibility varies a bit and was about 3m when I was there. There was a bit of fish on the wrecks. I think the diving was ok but not spectacular. I also think the dive operator We Dive could work a bit more with its safety standards. There were divers with poor buoyancy control that were taken inside the dive wreck. Also, I did not see that the max diving times were monitored.

Mega Dive staff was excellent. they were very nice and extremely helpful. The Dive Master that I dove with was excellent as well. He was so nice to point out any findings such as a Nudibranch, when he found them. He was also very patient with a newbie who had trouble descending. Then, to top it off, several days later he sent me videos of the trip! Highly recommend!! BTW the water is VERY cold so prepare ahead of time!

I recently had an amazing scuba diving experience with Portugal Dive in Portugal. As a newer diver, I was a bit nervous, but the staff and instructors were fantastic. They were all incredibly friendly and professional, which made me feel very comfortable and safe throughout the entire trip. The dive sites we visited were breathtaking! Portugal Dive took us to some beautiful locations that offered the perfect challenge for my skill level. It was a great balance of excitement and enjoyment. The diving was amazing Loads of fish and life (corals, plants) in the water. We saw a lot of octopus, cuttle fish, eels, nudibranch, seastars,... the fish come up real close and often you are diving within a big school of fishes. The water is a bit cold but with the double wetsuit we got from the diving centre we were able to dive over an hour without feeling cold.

Staff was very accommodating and polite. The dive was great and a very positive experience! Would definitely recommend to others.

Portugal Dive organized my dive while in Machico, Madeira and the whole process was smooth in communication with Rita! Highly recommend if you are a traveller in Portugal. They did all the planning from start to finish with no issues and most importantly the dives were amazing.

We enjoyed our one day dive to a wreck outside Sesimbra very much. Everything was well organized, from getting us from the hotel, over the dive and back.

A great diving company, My girlfriend and i went diving. It was the frist time diving for my girlfriend, I am a certified diver so i had no troubles whit it at all. However my girlfriend was really scared of diving for the frist time. The great people at the company coached my girlfriend through it and she had a amazing time. The instructors made her feel very comfortable. Eventhough we didnt request for it the people here made some beautifull pictures of us diving and showed it to us. To give a quick summary, a great diving company whit capable instructors showed us the beautifull diving spots around sisimbra :)

Our Day at the Beach was absolutely a highlight of our trip to Portugal and Spain. It is one of our top travel experiences ever and will be a cherished memory for my entire family - forever. Thirty years from now, my kids will tell their kids about their trip to Sesimbra and Ribeira do Cavalo Beach during their trip to Portugal. If you are a diver or wanting to try diving or simply want to spend a day playing on a magical beach in Sesimbra - then plan to spend an extra day in Portugal and reach out to Arlindo. Extend your trip by a day if necessary - you will not regret it. I reached out to Arlindo to arrange a day for myself and the 8 other members of the 2022 European Vacation family tour group. This group included my wife and 3 children, my son's friend, my mother in law and my sister and brother in law. Arranging an excursion that catered to that age range and interest range is a terrific challenge and the Portugal Dive team absolutely crushed the challenge. My middle daughter and I are divers and we dove nearby the beach while my son and his friend had 'try dive' excursions from the beach and my wife, youngest daughter and sister snorkeled from the beach. We normally dive in the Caribbean and on this dive my daughter photographed her first octopi. My mother in law was the official 'terrestrial photographer' and was constantly busy recording the continuous action. Our Dive Masters on both the boat and the beach for the try diving were great. My daughter and I loved Filipe our guide so much we did a wreck diving course with him the day after our beach excursion. (The wreck was spectacular - but the water was still rather cold). After my daughter and I finished diving, we headed back to everyone else at the beach, had lunch and then headed out for a sea kayaking excursion with my son and one of the best sea kayak guides I have ever met. Needless to say - there are some magical caves you can visit by kayak right around the beach. When we travel I try to insure that we have at least one day of 'non history death-march' fun outside of a city or tourist area. I find as I grow older that these experiences (this day at the beach in Portugal, the day on the catamaran in Santorini, my daughter's birthday party at a vineyard) are the high points of our trips and really bring us together as a family. Arlindo and his team made this happen for us and are inextricably bound to our memories of this extraordinary day. We thank the entire team who hosted us on the beach, our dive masters, our kayak master, our boat captains and Arlindo for bringing it all together. I highly recommend this experience if you are an outdoor, adventure loving family (or group) and want to spend some time on one of the most gorgeous beaches you will find in Europe with folks you will count as friends forever. When we go back to Portugal, we will do this again.
