An unforgettable first taste of South Australia
We had a wonderful tour with Bike About. The trails were varied and not too tiring (especially with E-bikes). Dan was very knowledgeable and ensured that we had a great time. The cheese-tasting at Udder Delights and the picnic at The Lane were fantastic. Seven days was not enough - we'll definitely be back for more!

      Highly recommend this tour
Excellent guide. Biking was flat and mostly on cycle paths. Wine tasting, stops at chocolate factory and cheese shop were first class. Lunch, tasting and tour especially of the cooper’s (wine barrel maker) workshop at Yalumba were also first class. We highly recommend

      Always better on a bike
Daniel is amazing. So much fun to be with took us for cheese and wine tasting and showed us the scenery. Lovely choices of small production vineyards and a local cheese maker. A great day

A fun & memorable way to see Hahndorf & surroundings!
Dan a true local, and Janet his side kick, were both extremely professional and friendly during our awesome bike tour. Being first time on an e-bike, Dan and Janet were always on hand to ensure we had a memorable experience. It is pretty special cycling around Hahndorf and the surrounding wineries, better than driving. The all inclusive tasting was very generous & delicious. Highly recommend Bike About .. we will surely book again next time we are in town!

      Great day out exploring.
Dan and his team provided an outstanding experience! We felt very supported and well taken care of. It was lovely to not have to worry about anything and just enjoy the views and lovely spots we were taken to. As first time e-bike riders, my friend and I also felt very well instructed and like we were in good hands! Highly recommend!

Amazing bike and gourmet day in Barossa
I wanted an adventurous experience in Barossa and this bike day exceeded my expectations!! The bikes were great quality and the trip was so much fun. The bike paths made it worry free for American riders and even when we rode the short times on the road the guide was very attentive and made sure we crossed properly. The stops were fabulous (and delicious.). The vistas were breath taking as we rode through vineyards and paths. We started with the chocolate factory, visited the cheese factory with a fabulous cheese tasting and ended with a wonderful wine tasting and food board at Yalumba. What an incredible vineyard and cellar to visit. After 2 weeks in Australia I would definitely recommend this tour and rate this as one of my highlights. The guide was so much fun too.

Adelaide City e-cycle and fun family reunion
We gathered from Manchester and York in the UK and Canberra to travel on the Overland train from Melbourne to Adelaide, where we enjoyed the 3-hour Adelaide City Scenic Electric Bike Tour. One of our number had not ridden a bike for 16 years and was naturally trepidacious. All went smoothly under Dan’s expert tutelage. We began at the Bloom Café and progressed through gardens along the banks of the River Torrens. We visited the Adelaide Oval and had a delightful lunch at the National Wine Centre before making our way back through the Botanic Gardens. This is an accessible and enjoyable activity for all visitors to Adelaide.

E bike through Barossa valley with wine, cheese, chocolate tastings. It does not get any better than this tour. !!!
We did the 6.5 our E bike tour through Barossa Valley. The guide Danielle was outstanding. The bikes were outstanding. The chocolate cheese and wine stops were phenomenal. Great wine tasting very educated sommelier. This was the most beautiful way to see the Barossa valley. I would highly recommend this tour. We were a group of 10 two families with our teenage Kids 15to 21. They loved it so much. Do not miss this wonderful experience.

Great Wine Tour - excellent day out
Excellent tour couldn’t recommend highly enough. Great mix of food and wine with the added benefit of taking in the fabulous countryside. We’ve been on wine tours in Italy, Spain and Portugal but this was by far the best. Daniel is a great guide and has all the local knowledge. Plus the staff in each of the spots were great. A must do if your in the Hahndorf / Adelaide area.

      Fabulous Bike Tour in Adelaide
Enjoyed a fabulous bike tour along the river and trails of Adelaide with Dan and a group from our cruise ship. Dan was very personable and adjusted the ride to our interests and pace. Beautiful scenery, wildlife, a stop at the Oval and a nice wine tasting at the National Wine Center.

7-Day South Australia Food & Wine E-Bike Tour
Our first biking holiday and it could not have been any better. Simply stunning part of the world and they have good wine as well! Cycling on their excellent bike tracks was the best way to enjoy it. Everything worked without any stress. Thanks to Dan and Jack, we were well looked after. Hope to get back so time.

We met up at a cafe, and the first order of business was coffee and pastries.

We biked about 10 miles on paved trails, around northern Adelaide. One of the stops was the wine center for a flight and snack. Yummy

The ebikes were newer and in good shape, very comfortable.

The guides were very interesting, pointing out many of the places we passed. We weren't able to get into the oval, as there was a test in progress.

Definitely one of the best city bike tours I have ever taken. Would highly recommend

We were on the Queen Elizabeth, Cunard Line that docked the day in Adelaide. We decided to go on a shore excursion with Bike About to see the beautiful sights of Adelaide on an E-bike.

There were 10 in our group not counting one Cunard Staff (who also rode). Dan and Jeanette from Bike About were our guides. We wrode alongside the beautiful Torrens River, saw a swing bridge, wonderful modern architecture, a state-of-the-art Sports Stadium that we were allowed to enter (since no game was on) the University of Adelaide, Botanical Gardens, wild fruit bats, huge Ficus trees and lots lots more. It was a real highlight, we wished the day was longer and we highly recommend it... So much so, we got back on board and after communicating with family, we sought out this site to write a review!

The most picturesque sites were built to capture River views, and the best way to see them is from a bike. And the E-bike (a golf cart on 2 wheels) is the best bike to do it. Enough said.

    BRILLIANT!!

Absolutely loved this tour. We had Daniel as our guide who was cheerful, engaging and good company. His father took over for a couple of days as Dan was busy running other tours, Jack was also great, then to finish off the last leg along the Torrens River, we had Piers who was also very knowledgeable.
Four people in the tour was a huge bonus as everyone had told me how hot it is in Adelaide in January, but really only the final day was super hot and we finished on the ocean at Glenelg at the Grand Stamford Hotel with sea views, so it didn't get much better.
Loved the entire week and every part of the trip.
Huge shout of thank you to them all.
