Catalina Food and Walking Tour

Overview
Try a taste of Catalina Island on this 3-hour culinary walking tour. Led by a local guide, you’ll travel along the iconic waterfront architecture, passing the famous Casino Building, and learn about the cultural and culinary history as you go. You’ll stop at six local hotspots to sample fresh seafood, sweets and other traditional Catalina foods. This small-group tour is limited to 16 people for a more intimate experience.
What to Expect
Your tour will begin in central Catalina Island, where your foodie guide will meet you. Be sure to arrive with an appetite, as the area is known for its great restaurants, delicious seafood and, of course, beautiful views of the Pacific.

Head first down Front Street to admire the original Catalina tiles from the early 20th century. As you walk, you’ll make stops in six different locations, sampling fresh seafood, sweets and traditional homemade recipes. Your guide will share stories about the culture, cuisine and history of the island as you travel from one location to the next.

Continue along Avalon’s charming streets, stopping to view the notable architecture along the water. You’ll see the historic Inn on Mt Ada — a one-of-a-kind guestroom mansion that was once home to the Wrigley Family — and the famous Casino Building.

Before your tour concludes, treat your taste buds to one last local favorite, a beer float. Your guide will part ways with you in a central spot, where you can continue exploring Catalina foods and attractions on your own.

Lili and food and drink and social history, oh my!

We thoroughly enjoyed this food tour. The group was just the right size and Lili had the best knowledge and energy. Our stops and tastes were excellent too. We walked away happy and very familiar with the social history of Catalina. THANK YOU, LILI

Fun educational way to see Catalina

I took my husband and another couple to Catalina for birthday celebration. Lili was our tour guide. She was so amazing in all that she knows and more importantly her passion for the Area. She made our day!
