- leahaU920PF0 contributionsDelicious artistic Japanese sweet exoerience.Amazing cultural treat making experience. We had a wonderful English speaking guide to help interpret along the class which was provided by the host. He also took a lot of pictures for us throughout allowing us to concentrate and imerse ourselves in the class.. We were blessed to have the owner of the sweet shop join us who gave us the family history which was amazing to learn. So glad we found this and partook in the experience. Was extremely fun and the end result was amazing and very tasty. Enjoyed a traditional cup of tea at the end while tasting our creations. Highly recommend. Something to learn more about and try at home as well in the kitchen.Written 23 September 2023
- CanuckJames0 contributionsTourist Information CenterWhile primarily a gift store, it is also the meeting point for multiple local guides and tours of the area. The back was dedicated to selling local artists Izushi Earthware. The craft sake section was interesting. There is a cafe in the building. The complex has washrooms and small stores including a basket-making workshop.Written 1 October 2022
