I had a great time making mochi at Genshichi. The owners play festival music to set the mood which is really cute and fun. There is nothing like the taste of freshly made mochi. They use high quality local rice which makes it absolutely delicious. My favorite was eating it rolled in kinako! Would definitely recommend giving this experience a try with friends or family!

The tour was informative, and I got a great workout from pounding the mochi. The best part was making the mochi after and taking it home with me. The owners showed us how to make two different kinds! The tour guide and shop owners took care of us well, and the explanation was thorough. I highly recommend this unique experience!
