Located five miles south of downtown Las Vegas, McCarran International Airport (LAS) is the eighth busiest airport in the world in terms of aircraft movements and the 24th busiest when measured by passenger traffic. It has four runways and two commercial airline terminals. Other terminals at the airport serve cargo companies, private aircraft, sightseeing flights and US government contractors. Allegiant Air, Southwest Airlines and Spirit Airlines have all designated McCarran International Airport as a focus city. Of the 35 airlines that operate at McCarran, Southwest Airlines is the busiest US-based carrier and Canadian airline WestJet is the busiest international carrier. A number of pieces of art are on display throughout the airport, which is also home to the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum.
