Located three miles northwest of downtown Burbank, Calif., Bob Hope Airport (BUR) serves the northern Greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. It has two runways and 14 gates in two interconnected terminals: Terminal A and Terminal B. Bob Hope Airport is the only one of the Los Angeles-area airports with a direct rail connection to downtown LA. Amtrak and local bus routes also stop at the airport, and rental cars and taxis are also available. Alaska Airlines, Delta Connection, JetBlue Airways, SeaPort Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Express and US Airways express fly non-stop between Burbank and about 15 destinations in the western United States as well as New York. In 2014, Bob Hope Airport handled about 3.9 million passengers.
