Primarily a domestic airport, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) is located eight miles west of downtown. It is one two airports serving the largest city in China, and handled about 38 million passengers in 2014. China Eastern Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and Spring Air use SHA as a hub. In total, more than 20 airlines operate at the airport, flying non-stop to more than 80 destinations across China, as well as some points elsewhere in Asia. The airport has two terminals and two runways. Ground transportation options at SHA include buses, taxis, shuttles, the Metro, long-distances coaches and trains.
