The main international airport serving Istanbul, Atatürk Airport (IST) is located about 15 miles west of downtown. In 2014 almost 57 million travelers passed through the airport, making it the fourth-busiest airport in Europe. More than 65 carriers operate at the airport, including AtlasGlobal, Onur Air and Turkish Airlines, which have all designated IST as a hub. Passengers can fly non-stop between IST and points across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and South America. IST has three runways and two passenger terminals. Airport amenities include retail stores, restaurants, banks, currency exchanges, health clinics, conference rooms, free WIFI internet, luggage wrapping and storage, and mosques.
