Located in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, Kelowna International Airport (YLW) is located about seven miles northeast of Kelowna. In 2014, about 1.6 million passengers arrived at or departed from YLW, making it Canada's 11th busiest airport. Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, Sunwing Airlines and WestJet are among the carriers that fly between Kelowna International Airport and destinations in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Kelowna International Airport has one runway and a single passenger terminal with eight gates. Airport amenities include restaurants, bars, retail stores, vending machines, a business center, ATMs, a children's play area and electronics charging stations.
