Buddha air has a mountain flight which they sell for around 14500 Nepali rupees. They take you on a 50-60 minute flight to see the himalayas. The seats from 5 to 10 all have an obstructed view as they are in front of the engines and propellers. For this reason, I went early and was second in line. I specifically asked the girl at the counter to make sure that I was given a seat with an unobstructed view. In spite of this she gave me seats 5A and 5D which were directly in front of the propeller. On complaining to Customer Care, I received a response saying that "Furthermore, we'd like to clarify that the seats assigned to you and your three friends (5A/D, 4A/D) are not categorized as propeller seats. It's simply a matter of aircraft design. If you require any assistance in the future, please don't hesitate to let us know. Thank you for your patience and understanding." It is unfair that even though everybody pays the same, some are given obstructed views. They would not even compensate me for their staffs incompetence. My boarding card check in number showed that I was number 2 in line. They offered me a reflight two weeks after I had already left kathmandu. They did not offer this to us immediately even though we complained. They should offer these seats at a discounted rate when booking. I would not ever book a mountain flight with them again. I am uploading a puc of the propeller outside my window.

I'm currently traveling across Nepal, and unfortunately, I've had to rely on Buddha Air for my journey. I took the KTM-JAN route and now I'm on the KTM-Bharatpur route. Let me tell you, my experience has been nothing short of alarming. This airline should be thoroughly investigated and banned for the safety of passengers. Here's what went wrong: The flight was delayed by a staggering 3 hours. During the wait, we were left stranded in the waiting area without any refreshments or air conditioning for the entire duration. Boarding finally commenced, only to be herded onto a bus where we waited on the taxiway for an additional 30 minutes. Once aboard the plane, we faced another 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting, still without any air conditioning. Many passengers, myself included, resorted to standing near the open back door of the plane in a desperate bid for fresh air. Shockingly, upon takeoff, the crew failed to switch on the air conditioning or pressurize the cabin. Yes, you heard that right – the cabin remained unpressurized. With the absence of air conditioning and pressurization, the cabin turned unbearably hot, and I found myself struggling to breathe. I pleaded with the crew for oxygen or to turn on the air conditioner, but they callously ignored my pleas, stating there was nothing they could do. They played with my life, and I refuse to ever fly with them again. This company must be held accountable, and measures should be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers.

Worst airline in Nepal. Never on time, you can always expect delay even if the weather is fine. No sense of urgency or responsibility towards customers.

At Panorama flight over Mt. Everest there was too many passengers in the plane and the view threw window was not visible at all. And no one from the stuff cared about it. The ticket costs 250 Eur so it's really outrageous to pay that much and see nothing. Very disappointing as the flight was a gift.

Kathmandu - Pokhara

I had one of the worst experience with the Buddha Airline. The Customer service from Buddha Airlines Kathmandu is Terrible. I bought 4 tickets around NRS. 17600 to fly from KTM - PKR. However, the weather became terrible in Pokhara and the airport had to be closed since morning. I waited for more than 4 hours. However, there was no sign of any flight and customer service team informed, the flight would be cancelled, and the money would be refunded. Therefore, I took an alternative option via road for travel. The funny thing is the airlines never cancelled the flight and the flight was kept delayed, and it finally took off around 6 pm. The weather was still worst at Pokhara with poor visibility. I called them back and requested for refund. They directly denied my refund request by informing the plane took off. Therefore, I strongly recommend everyone not to fly via this airlines. Customer Service is terrible.
