Over 3 round trips I did between Kathmandu and Pokhara, so 6 flights, there has been a delay of 2 to 3 hours on 5 of them, due to the weather or the conjestion of one of the 2 airports. All the companies comply with the same obligations, though the impression is that Buddha Air's planes seem to be delayed...

If the weather is good,no need to worry about the flight delay, the flight is really on time, and it is just only take around 45 mins,so the seat is fine, service is good.

I had a flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu and vice versa on May 2 and May 6. On my way to Pokhara, the flight was delayed for almost 6 hours and I had to waste my time at the airport. No reasons of delay were provided to the passengers. On my way back to Kathmandu, as I had an international...

Took Buddha Air from Pokhara to Kathmandu to catch a connecting international flight. I've factored in 2.5 hours in between not anticipating the ridiculous flight delay of more than 2 hours! Weather was clear but was told that if the international airport is busy, domestic flights which shares the same runway gets delayed. I was told that min 45 min...

You never know how long your flight will be delayed and when will it be cancelled. Travelled multiple times but always delayed minimum 2 to 3 hours. The ones who travel by bus will arrive at the destination on time .Its worse than a local bus. Inside is like a oven , very hot not even AC. Old and sick...

Worst plane and always delayed no service. Travelled multiple times but always delayed 3 to 4 hours minimum with unknown reason, no air condition also. If you travel by bus its more comfortable and also in time.

Very efficient, we arrived at domestic airport in Kathmandu at 10am for a noon flight. Check in counter suggested we take the 10.20am flight instead of waiting for the noon booking. Transferred out tickets over immediately and had the my family and our luggage on board in 20 minutes! 20 minute flight very smooth with water and boiled lollies given...

We used Buddha Air more than once while travelling in Nepal. They are a very good airline and have very nice staff. From lumbini to Kathmandu our flight got really delayed due to air traffic conditions in Kathmandu, and as we had a connection flight after and we were almost losing it they arranged a private car to pick us...

Scanning a few reviews, I see the common complaint about delays, but that IS the way of life in Nepal for all air travel. ALL domestic flights in Nepal are subject to continual delays; that is why most locals arrive 30 minutes or less before any scheduled departure time. All Nepal airlines are consistently delayed. Buddha Air ranks among the...
