Our first flight was delayed 1.5 hours, the return flight well over two hours. No explanation whatsoever. No legroom, no service to speak off. Extremely slow boarding. Avoid Vueling at all cost.

Loyalty goes unrewarded - even punished

I’ve flown 46 flights with Vueling within the last 12months at the time of this review - and despite the claim that they grant you “premium” status from 40 flights onwards; Vueling Customer service team keep refusing to grant me the status. They claim the problem is that I previously used a different Vueling Club account number linked to an email address I no longer use. They said I could resolve this by creating new account and then they would merge them. Even though they claim this happened - my flights no longer correctly show on the new account. After countless of contact back and forth with the customer service team about this I received a standard reply to my queries, putting the blame on me for not stating my loyalty number or email correctly. Not only did I always list my club account number when booking - I followed all their instructions to change and merge my loyalty accounts. Still they only reply in relation to my Avios and not the number of flights and reaching Premium status. Since this message I’ve contacted them thrice as well as emailed the CEO - without any reply. This company does not even care about their frequent flyers that fly more than 50 times per year with them… avoid at all cost!

Lost My Luggage, Ignored My Calls for 7 Months

I had the worst experience with Vueling. They lost my checked baggage, which contained valuable electronics and personal items worth several thousand dollars. For seven months, I called relentlessly, only to be met with zero updates, no follow-ups, and no record of my previous complaints. After months of silence, they offered me a fraction of what I am legally entitled to under the Montreal Convention. No apology, no responsibility—just an attempt to lowball me into settling for less. Their customer service is nonexistent, and their handling of lost baggage is a complete disaster. Avoid this airline if you care about your belongings. Absolutely unacceptable.

Awful airline, never fly with them. Better pay extra money, but fly with another one. First of all, they lost my luggage, they looked for it for about 4 days instead of the promised 1. When I arrived at the airport, I waited for my luggage for 2 hours. At first, they couldn’t find an employee to bring it to me. Then the employee brought out someone else’s luggage twice. They only compensated part of the money. At the airport, they refused to let me take my suitcase on the plane. After I said that I don’t trust their company anymore, they said that I have to pay 50 euros. Awful experience, I will never fly with this company again. Awful rude employees who don’t care about you. Also terrible support, INITIALLY THEY DIDN’T WANT TO COMPENSATE ME FOR ANYTHING AT ALL. Only after three days of pestering support, they agreed to return part of the money to me.
