I will never ever fly United Airlines again. We flew First Class, the service was very poor. We actually got better service in economy on the way back. They lost our surfboard bag that they charged us 200$ to bring, destroyed the surfboard inside, and then told us that they needed proof of damages and we had to drive 2...

Boarding the flight looked simple enough. Just go into the Zone line and wait to be called. The problem started when I noticed passengers carrying 3, 4 and even 5 pieces of carry-on luggage at the gate. I read the rules. I had one small personal bag. On going to my seat, I found that all overhead bins were full,...

It has been a while since I have flown a ‘mainline’ U.S. carrier and the reason is that in previous years both their service and products not good. The carriers realized they needed to focus on their products, and so I decided to try out United upgraded economy product from New Orleans to Houston. In previous cases, I have booked...

All these airlines seem to let people bring on heavy and bulky carry-ons and the leg from Chicago to Toronto was particularly difficult. Boarding in category 5 we literally had no space to put our luggage other than under the seat. This should be controlled better as it makes for an uncomfortable ride. Announcement was made to limit to two...

We sat in the first row of coach. here is no food service without pay. They did offer beverages. The flight attendants were attentive.

Flight went as expected. No issues. Family was able to sit together and although the first part of the flight was full, the second have was not a full flight and the attendants allowed us to change seats

This was a larger, but still small, regional jet that included free entertainment using United's Wi-Fi service. The jet was clean. The seats were comfortable. We departed on time and arrived early. The trip was non-eventful. The first class snacks were nothing to brag about.

This was a short flight on a small regional jet. Crew members were friendly. My only negative comment is that when we arrived at IAD we had to stand outside next to the plane to wait for our carry-on luggage that was too large for the small overhead bins. This is a common practice when arriving at several gates at...

When I checked in at the kiosk, I had a small duffle bag, and a suitcase that has always been fine for carry-on in the past with other airlines. A lady came up to me and I pointed out the smaller bag for checked luggage, because I had some items in it that would not go through TSA. I told...

We flew American from ABQ to KOA and United from KOA to ABQ. The differences were startling. We received the seats we requested (unlike AA). The plane on the longest flight was relatively new and comfortable (unlike AA). The flights left on schedule (unlike AA). The flight attendants were courteous and helpful (unlike AA). There was some confusion about the...
