Worst Airline ever!!! Our flight was suppose to be at640pm and was cancelled leaving everyone stranded in their airport. Given Thaibhat 300 which we cant even get a meal. Subsequently postpone to 750pm and then 1am in the middle of the night. We booked a hotel and decide to fly back another day and was told we are not allowed to leave the airport until 2am We end up burning our hotel which cost us Rm 1000. We had Business meeting which we had to cancel as well massive lost were not compensated. Avoid Malaysia Airlines at all cost. The amount of losses we had was way more than the stupid flight ticket.

I'll keep this brief. Point 1 - Customer Service - If you fly with them, pray to god you don't need to speak to their "contact centre". It's as though they are targeted with getting you off the phone as quickly as possible, and will tell you whatever they need to in order to make that happen. My experience tells me that if you call them repeatedly with the same problem, you are likely to get different responses depending on the time of the day. Point 2 - MHUpgrade system. They will invite you to make an offer to upgrade your economy seat and you are presented with a sliding scale; mine scale was from £401 to £497 per person. We bid and 3 days before our flight, £802 was debited from our account. However, we received no e-mail confirmation and all of our boarding passes and docs still stated economy. Contact centre absolutely useless and gave varying responses each time you called, including "you've been successful", "wait for an email", "speak to the airport check in", "you've been unsuccesful". We then spoke to 4 separate desks at the airport (each one directed us to the next desk) with our final boss appearing at the ticket office at the departure lounge. This gentleman told us that our upgrade was not successful but that he did had 6 business class seats still available. When I asked why our bid would have been unsuccessful when they still haven't sold the seats he gave several conflicting answers ranging from "the computer just decides" to "you did not place a bid correctly" to "your travel agent must have cancelled your bid"... after showing him the attached screenshots evidencing our bid. The real reason I suspect... last minute upgrades were being sold on the day for double my bid price. It seems as though they decline my bid and we're happy to chance making more money on the day. And no, he was not willing to lower the price despite the clear mess up at their end. Happy honeymoon. Will do all I can to discourage people from flying with them, including feeding back to Audley Travel. Thank God we weren't in a genuine emergency needing their help.

Your service was absolutely terrible. I would not recommend anyone to go. The staff at the Adelaide airport working for Malaysia airline treated my family very poorly. They looked at us disgusted and annoyed. In Malaysia there was big trouble in getting a wheelchair. At Adelaide airport at the Malaysian airline checkin, there was this woman at counter number three at 8am in the morning on 15/06/2024. She was Indian and she was handling customers. She treated my brother poorly and and I hope she gets fired. She refused to give me brother a wheelchair and eyed my brother very horrendously. She also measured the weight inaccurately. She should go and learn some maths other than fixing her hair all the time. Never go to Malaysia airline and fire that girl on counter number three.

We had an OK first experience with Malaysia Airlines. The service was good, the food was good but the airplane was a little rough and leg space was painful. Took 6 headphones to get one that worked for me and others in my group had the same issue. The stitching on the seats were coming apart and looked horrible. Toilet seats held together by duck tape. No idea how an airline doesn't have money to maintain their airplanes.
