The last decade or so we drove to our vacation destinations. So this was our first time flying in 10 years. We chose JetBlue because it seemed like you get a lot for your money. You get WiFi, TVs at each seat (if they’re working), small snacks and soft drinks, and big, abundant delays! Flying out of Newark we had a delay over 3 hours. So having to be at the airport at least 2 hours prior, this put us at the airport for over 5 hours before we left. No credit towards future flights-NOTHING TO COMPENSATE THE PASSENGERS. So while I’m in Orlando I find out my father passed away. To change my flight to a day earlier it was going to cost over $700 more. (Airlines no longer care if you have a death in your immediate family, you still have to pay). So , I change my flight to an earlier flight on the same day I was supposed to depart. It cost me $220 to get home 6 hours earlier but I figured I needed the time to get my suit ready, etc. Currently I’m sitting in Orlando airport and my flight is being delayed close to 2 hours (so much for spending money on an earlier flight to get home earlier). What’s funny is JetBlue is saying the delay is due to thunderstorms, but there is currently other flights boarding and we should have been in the air right now, so they’re full of crap. This is the last time I book with JetBlue; you get what you pay for. I’d rather have no snacks, no WiFi, no tv and no extended delays at the airport.…
