Alitalia is certainly the worst airline experience I've had in forty years of flying. We upgraded to "comfort seats" for 200 extra Euro, and these bulkhead seats actually had LESS legroom and were extremely narrow. Food was hopelessly mediocre and staff was cold and completely inattentive. What are they being paid for? Forty-five minutes after finishing my "meal," I finally...

Controversy to the domestic flights with Alitalia, the experience with international flights in business seat was excellent, the service, the crue, the space for legs, the food really nothing to say. They don't reach the standards such emirates or Swiss but I can travel without any doubt again.

Well I thought that such a big airline will have facilities in domestic flights but for 40minutes flight they didn't offered us anything to dring, also we had delayed departure. The airplane was clean.

Disappointing as I am Italian and with the return of Alitalia to South Africa was excited to use the airline again. It’s approximately 10hrs to Rome and the chairs have literally no leg room. The service was also lacking. We waited ages for a drink and when it did come, it seemed an awful hassle to be served. Not to...

What do you do in a long flight? I watch videos. The selection of videos was poor both on the way to and from Rome. I found just three videos I haven't watched before. It's normal to interrupt videos with crew announcements. It's not normal for them to be deafeningly loud. I adjust the sound level in my Bose headphones...

The only benefit of this flight was the flight time from SA. Seats are uncomfortable and seats at either ends have little legroom. Food options are not great. Flew over night and only had 150ml of water in a plastic cup for the entire flight. Flight from athens to rome was delayed and the subsequent flight was also delayed back...

We had a small problem as once you buy the tickets, you are allowed to choose your seat, but it does not tell you that certain seats will be charged to you on check in. We were allowed to change it in the check in, but had to travel separated. Also, it was a flight with scale and they changed...

I was on Alitalia from Rome to Boston on June 16th 2018 and had the most uncomfortable flight in several years. This is a nine hour flight and they have you squished in like a cattle car. They only have two classes economy and business and ALL of the seats in economy did not recline and my knees hit against...

I take Alitalia when I go to Italy frequently because it offers great connections to other airports in the country. The seats are pretty comfortable, the crew is very nice, and they have great movies and entertainment. Only problem is the food. Dinner going to Rome was ok, not the best. But coming home was just very unappetizing. But I...
