Had a wonderful experience with Air Tahiti Nui five years ago, LAX to Papeete return. Was looking forward to the same again. Booked Auckland to Papeete return with Tahiti Nui, because of their promotion to visit New Zealand and Tahiti in one trip for the price of one. Found no conceivable way to fulfill the requirements. Persevered and planned the...

It was an A340 with a 2-4-2 configuration. The flight took off on time and had comfortable seats and a pleasant crew.

We flew on both of the planes that Air Tahiti Nui has flying from PPT to LAX. The older plane has a seating of 3 X 3 X 3 in the coach. The seats were okay for the eight hour flight. However, on their new plane, the seating was 2 X 3 X 2, the seats were the most uncomfortable...

The plane was fine other than the seats. Literally the seats were falling apart.... no padding on the seat. We used the blankets to get through the trip. I would not look to fly this airline again!

My husband We just returned from a month long trip to Tahiti, New Zealand and Australia which was amazing. I booked the flight thru Air Tahiti Nui on a special that they had where they would pay for a three night layover in Tahiti for about the same price as just the flight itself. I convinced my husband that he...

The seats are really thin, and pretty uncomfortable. They did seem to recline more than the AMERICAN AIRLINES. The in flight entertainment was helpful on passing time. The meal going to Tahiti was fish. ONLY fish, and since I don’t eat fish, I asked if they had anything else. NO! So I ate what I could, and ate my husbands...

We upgraded from economy to premium economy. This cabin area is between economy and business. Out of 32 seats, only 6 were occupied. The seats and footrests recline to a very comfortable position. Not sure if the food is any different from economy, but it was adequate. The 787 stands out because it is much quieter than any other plane...

I specifically booked air almost 9 months from planned vacation (declining the cruise included air) to secure good seats for a long legged spouse. Air Tahiti Nui customer service normally does not release seats until approx 3 months before departure. Contacting customer service desk in Los Angeles was able to lock in two seats which would have included a window....

This was a lovely flight. There was enough legroom, even in economy. We were given a pillow and a blanket and a care package with a sleep mask, ear plugs and ear buds. We were fed well and often. Wine, beer was free. Good movies and games. As good as it gets in economy and WAY better than any of...
