I have flown with this airline several times and have found the experience to be such that I would choose Air New Zealand for any flight I undertook and only use another airline if my itinerary wasn't covered.

From using the fast track at Heathrow to the Singapore - Star Alliance business lounge to the flight itself was great, very relaxed. The seats in business were on a Boeing 777 and did not disappoint. Lie flat beds, foot stool, adjustable seats and tv monitor. Mattress , duvet and soft pillows, all very comfy. The cabin crew were amazingly...

We flew economy heading to the US and premium on our return. The extra dollars on premium were well worth it, in our opinion! The greeting when boarding is open and friendly, which makes you feel welcome regardless of your class of service. On board entertainment is as one would expect when flying international routes, and the food was enjoyable....

Checked in early to beat the traffic on the Southern Motorway. Had a 3 hour wait at the airport which turned into $400 in Duty Free. 777-200 very comfortable even in cattle class. Service was supreme. Managed to get 2 movies in. Bacon and Eggs for breakfast. Nice lumpy free flight and only 3.5 hours instead of the 4 it...

My wife and I travel internationally frequently. On a recent flight to SFO the service we experienced without doubt the worst airline service we have ever had the misfortune to endure! It started with the lack of sincerity by all of the airline stewards, who seemed genuinely disinterested in their passengers, with fake smiles and lack of warmth and care....

Good comfy trip across the Tasman. Plane had no classes apart from economy. Friendly and helpful staff and the safety video was a treat. The only downfall was having to pay for movies.

The "works" category: The food was cheap slop, no juice on your breakfast tray these days, coffee etc served half an hour after your food. Later on, the air steward practically slammed down our requested gin & tonics (no ice or lemon and the drinks came already mixed, not in the little cans & bottles as advertised) and the drinking...

I'm a regular traveler on Air New Zealand for both business and pleasure and I would only fly on another airline if Air New Zealand didn't fly the route I was traveling. The trip today lived up to my expectations of our national carrier, professional, friendly and welcoming. The ground staff and crew went out of their way to be...
