Travelled to Bangkok on it's newly purchased boeing 787. Beautiful interior design with colourful lights and clean aircraft. So far my best flight though Lufthansa is my favourite airline until now. Value for Money !!!

We flew to Reunion with Air Austral, as I had never heard of the airline I was a little worried. From the check in to the flight boarding was exceptional. The airline staff was absolutely fantastic, my daughter is visual impaired and the staff did everything to make us feel welcome. Normaan our flight steward was absolutely great and he...

I was slightly apprehensive about flying on a Boeing 737 for longer than two hours, but it turned out to be comfortable. The meal was enormous and tasty (a bar service is included) and the service good. All passengers receive an amenity kit (slightly unnecessary on a four-hour daytime flight) and earphones. The in-flight entertainment was a bit disappointing -...

BKK-RUN-TNR return. All flights were on-time, and the aircraft were relatively new. The food was good, wine was served with each meal, and the IFE was ok. The staff tended to disappear after meal service, but they were friendly enough. Even in Y class, each passenger got a pouch with socks and an eye shade.

We flew from Johannesburg to Nosy Bè Madagascar via St Denis Reunion. The standard was well above average, including quality cutlery, and good glassware for wine. Our return flight from Nosy Bè to Reunion was very delayed due to technical issues, which can happen to any airline. My only critique is that they should have offered some kind of compensation,...

Worst airline ever!!! Went to Chennai with my family in November 2016 from Mauritius. You have to go through Reunion Island. You go in an uncomfortable plane to Chennai, the ventillation is poor, so its a hasssle for travellers having asthma. 15 passengers have to watch a small monitor/ tv in the flight, only french movies, the movie start midway...

I was looking to get to Madagascar from Johannesburg (as my tickets were already booked to there). All other airlines quoted around $1,000 for the trip, but Air Austral offered it for $500. The itinerary comes with an overnight stopover in Reunion both ways, which I thought was intriguing as it's not a place I had visited before. Glad I...

I fly regularly and use all different airlines and have found this one to be the most enjoyable by far. The experience of flying is most often uncomfortable and cramped, and the economy section of this airline is no different to most in many ways, but it's the little things that make it more pleasant. Friendly helpful staff, great food,...

Air Austria flight was and is very convenient, good clean airplanes. The switch in Vienna airport always takes long, but time enough for a toilet brake and some fast shopping. When I arrived in Podgorica, my baggage was not there, but they took immediately action. Next day I received my luggage in my apartment in a village with no street...

We booked a trip from Bangkok to Saint Denis, Reunion. The agency made a mistake, and booked the flight without enough baggage. We realised this on the first stretch from Saigon to Bangkok, which was with Thai Airways. At the airport, we were told to go to the Air Austral website to pay for the extra baggage in advance. Fair...
