I recently flew to Brisbane to visit my cousin who lives in the Glass House Mountains area at Beerwah. I chose to fly Virgin as they include 20kls (up to 23kls) of luggage in the price of your fare, whereas Jetstar may have cheaper fares on offer but you pay extra for luggage, you get 7kls onboard small case but...

Of all the domestic airlines I have flown with, Virgin has been the only one that has consistently provided a positive experience! While it may not be the cheapest to fly with, the extra spend is well worth it - and is reflected in their service, maintenance of plane cabin/seats and timely departures/arrivals - all of which are a step...

Having travelled with Virgin several times previously, we would not consider using another airline for a flight within Australia. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful and nothing seems to be a bother. Boarding in Launceston we required assistance with out carry on luggage as there is no air bridge. This was no problem at all to the...

This airline knows how to impress and deliver an exceptional Business Class experience on their flights to Los Angeles. The 14 hour flight was a breeze thanks to a full flat bed seating option which allows you to sleep in complete comfort at any time you wish, with a turn down service on demand with pyjamas provided!. Food and beverage...

The second long haul flight we have taken with Virgin and very impressed again. On the forward trip we chose Premium economy seats which were worth the extra cost. A little more room in the seats and good service. On the way back we chose economy and were equally satisfied. Left on time, were kept well informed and provided with...

I had o fly to Darwin from Brisbane. The flight was cheaper than Qantas by about $400. But I had to be in Darwin for 1.5 dats to get everything done. The flight took me from Brisbane to Melbourne then a 40 min layover. The connecting flight left 40min later. I was assured as I have checked for the whole...

Unfortunately for internal flights, Australia has only two major airlines and the cost and the service is less competitive then desirable. This is my favored airline. Originally it started as a low cost airline, copying everything (business model, plains, loading, fares, even the jokes) from Southwest. Now it has evolved and it is a carrier undistinguishable from the legacy carriers....
