First experience with IcelandAir on a transatlantic route. Friendly crew a good space for the legs on the front rows! Changing of aircraft in Keflavik was easy as no x-ray check to do again and the airport is a quite "small" size. But due to the hub situation with all aircraft coming in and out at the same time, the...

This review encompasses our experience from 4 flights, as we flew to Stockholm but stopped in Reykjavik on the way for 4 days. PRICE paid was okay but certainly not the close to the low fares they advertise, plus we had to pay more to get a 7:35am flight to Stockholm otherwise we were stuck on a 1:30am flight -...

Icelandair share British Airlines lounge at JFK, when we boarded and the "champagne" was in plastic cups I was very surprised and wondered what the rest of the 5 hour journey would be like.. Staff very friendly. Wine was available, but definitely not great wine. There was a printed wine and food menu. To our surprise, the food was excellent....

I admit I am a bit spoiled and prefer, whenever possible, to fly business, I love to be able to stretch my legs and it makes a huge difference especially on longer flights. I bought a business class ticket, roundtrip to Reykjavik on Icelander, expecting the new business class seats that recline or at the very least the " old"...

We flew to Copenhagen to join our Baltic cruise, and chose IcelandAir so that we could stopover in Reykjavik. The price was very reasonable and the stopover was free. Plus the flight times were perfect for us, as we were flying with young children. Check-in was easy and friendly, very relaxed. We were welcomed on the flight with water, blankets...

For a budget airline Icelandair really aren't bad. Check-in was straightforward, as was boarding. Although you have to pay for food, there is complementary coffee and water offered at least 3 times during the flight. Announcements were helpful without being intrusive and the whole experience was smooth and unstressful. My favourable impression was reinforced by my flight from Keflavik to...

We departed on time and we landed on time. The seats were comfortable, the flight was uneventful and the entertainment services were acceptable. The only complaint that I would have would be that food is extra. Fortunately my kids had a meal included in the price. All in all, a good experience.

"Economy comfort" rather than just economy. Pay a bit more to get nicer seats, a meal, drinks, access to lounge, and ear buds. A really pleasant way to cross the big pond. Try it once and you will be hooked.

Paris was a confusing airport to begin with, but the agent helped us right along. The service was wonderful at checkin and just got better. We had a layover in Reykjavik and were able to use the Saga Lounge and it was comfortable with snacks. The flight into Boston was excellent with very good food presented. In service with Iceland...

Flight was on time, and comfy. Though the landing at Reykjavik was very hard. The landing coming back to London was a lot better. Seats are as comfy as you get in economy, and the crew are friendly and speak good English. You have to pay for everything though, drinks and food, and it's pretty poor value for money. And...
