Flew from Gatwick to Minneapolis with a change in Iceland. I absolutely hate flying. I loathe it utterly. I would rather take a 2-day train journey than an 8-hour flight. Unfortunately, there aren't many transatlantic trains at the moment, so I was forced to resort to the flying death-tubes of horror for this trip. I am reasonably tall and suffer...

Everything from check-in to boarding, in-flight service and arrivals were handled efficiently and smoothly. I have flown Icelandair many times to Iceland and Norway and always with no issues. You have to buy food and drink on the flight and the normal duty free items are available. Leg room in economy could be a problem for some taller folks, but...

I like Icelandair. The flights are on time, the entertainment on board is decent. The food for purchase is above average for airline standards and the schedules are good. The flight from Washington leaves at night so you get to sleep in the plane, then arrive very early in the morning in Keflavik -if you are staying in Iceland it...

Flew from Heathrow to Seattle via Iceland for a business trip In August. Chose Iceland Air due to competitive price compared to other airlines. Flew Premium economy both directions and on all four flights. Iceland Air is like budget airlines in that the food and drink is all basic trolley service like EasyJet. If flying premium economy or business you...

This is a good company. Onboard the seats are comfortable with reasonable legroom. The newer planes have northern lights display above the overhead compartments which is quite effective. The planes that don't have entertainment screens offer tablets so you don't miss out. The attendants are all polite and helpful being well presented. This was a good experience.

Took the daytime flight from Reykjavik to Toronto after spending 5 days touring Iceland. Very pleasant lounge at the airport with lots of good food and drinks. The boarding was simple and without hassle. Airport is well laid out and easy to navigate. There were only three of us in SAGA or Business Class so the service was superlative and...

Tariffs of this small company are good. Passing by Iceland to go to Canada is a very practical route in reality. flight time is short and, despite a short stopover in Reykjavik (1h20), the overall trip from Europe to Montreal is around 9 hours which is less than most major airlines companies, and at much cheaper fare. The Reykjavik airport...

I had always believed this airline to be among the low frills low cost players. I was half right. The cost is low but there business class is better than any of the big European carriers BA, LH, AF. 2 x 2 seating (not the useless blocked middle seat that is a total waste. While the airport itself was packed...

Took advantage of opportunity to interrupt trip home to stay in Reykjavik for two nights; should have stayed longer. Flights to/from Keflavik were as expected when sitting in Economy class. Good job with luggage handling -- didn't have to wait too long for our bags.
