Both outward and return flights were great. The outward-bound was not full, and so I could stretch out across three empty seats, bagged a window seat and felt like it my own personal flight. Crew were so friendly. Return flight was delayed due to fog, but pilot kept us well informed and she was very reassuring that we would not...

Have flown Icelandair to Iceland & North America for over 40 years. Planes are old but spotlessly clean and comfortable. Cabin staff are excellent and, to date, I have never had a flight delay over over 15 minutes

We selected Icelandair because of our previous excellent service. This trip was no different. Our departure was delayed about 30 minutes due to airport congestion but we were not concerned because we were heading to the hotel a day before our ship left. We still arrived on time. The flight crew handled the food and beverage orders quickly and with...

Plane was better than many I flew on before, slightly more room (or at least it seemed like it (757 I think). Overheads had more room. Service fine - nothing special but nothing bad either. We used the 7 day layover at Reykaviak to tour Iceland. Coming back the layovers were crappy - 6 hrs in Oslo & 7hrs in...

Great entertainment options - selection of free movies, tv episodes, and music. Food was somewhat expensive, though, which was rough for a long flight.

We chose Icelandair because the price was so much lower than British Air for a flight to Scotland/England. There is one stop at Keflavik airport, but it's a one hour transfer before you're in the air again. Worth the savings! We did have a smaller plane (Boeing 767) but the flight was smooth, and straight over the pole. We've used...

The staff from start to finish were amazing. Very courteous and polite. They were also a lot of fun to be around. They obviously enjoyed their jobs.

I was pleased to find the trip to Germany much less exhausting than some of our former trips. Perhaps it was the break-up of the trip into three hops. Iceland allowed a generous luggage allowance and checked the bags thru to Dusseldorf. All bags arrived with us. Changing aircraft twice proved to be a good thing. Chance to stretch and...

I was shocked by this "low fare" airline. On the first leg of our trip, 6.5 hours, we had to PAY for food. We had a sandwich and shared a soda as they ran out of soda. From Iceland to Copenhagen, 3 hours, we were given 1 cup of soda, not a cracker or cookie in sight. I do not...

Overall a hassle free trip. We flew via Reykjavik and all flights were either bang on time or early. Flights were smooth, seats comfortable and good leg room for a well priced economy booking. There are no meals or snacks as part of the ticket price although soft drinks are free. The snacks available for sale are not, in my...
