I had never heard of Ravn and always use Alaska Air, but this service was great and very professional.
Ravn flies to many communities in Alaska, and does it cheaper than many others. And you don't have to process through security, which is a HUGE bonus!
Booked a late flight out originally that was canceled. They rebooked us on an earlier flight but we still had to change our flight up from Omaha to connect. We ended up flying up the night before from Omaha. We stayed in Anchorage but decided to fly to Kodiak even earlier. No PROBLEM with RAVN Most airlines would give you...More
Excellent customer service! Really enjoyed the cookie, authentic touch! The flight arrived and departed in a timely manner and the flight crew was very friendly.
The staff are all friendly.. starting from the check in to flight attendants on the plane. My luggage was bumped to the next day flight. The flight attendant was apologetic and gave me a snack box. The flight was not bumpy. Free drink and cookie.FREE ear plugs too.... It was a warm day so saw the different glaciers. OVER ALL,...More
Been waiting to get to Kodiak since 8.30 a.m. Just heard that all flights to Kodiak have been cancelled bcs of fog and Ravn airplanes don't have a GPS on board?! Got rebooked to Alaska Airlines and can only fly out tomorrow. If we had known this, we would for sure have chosen Alaska Airlines!
I wish I could rate the flight. The pilot called in sick the Anchorage to Kodiak -- thus my thus my kodiak to anchorage flight was canceled. Tomorrows flight is full, they wouldn't even add me to the standby list. The manager said he called me to warn me the flight was canceled. Ironically there were no missed calls on...More
This airline is terrible avoid them at all costs and the customer service here is inadequate. I would avoid the flights with Ravn as much as possible
Yes - it is a small plane and you will have to check in your carry on... but it is also a great way to get to Kenai. I use the points when I can. Always have the camera ready for flying over the Cook Inlet.
I flew on a Ravn plane from Bethel to Tuntutuliak in January of 2018, and was very happy with the flight, which left and arrived on time, and had a very smooth landing. The landing was impressive (many runways in rural Alaska are frozen dirt roads, which I imagine must be hard to navigate with a plane), but the real...More
