We booked Mokulele Airline's day tour of the former leper colony at Kalaupapa, Molokai (leaving from Maui). The tour was terrific - very well done and very comfortable, with a knowledgeable, personable, local guide. We highly recommend the tour. The flights between the islands were also comfortable, and incredibly scenic. What keeps this from being a 5-star rating is that,...

The Mokulele Airline did not honour its own policy for carry-on baggage requirements. Despite the fact that our carry-on bag adhered to the maximum dimensions, the check-in staff argued that because it had wheels we would have to pay the checked bag charge of $US20. Only after a very strong argument did the staff member concede defeat and accept the...

Flying Mokulele between islands is almost like taking a special tour flight. The max altitude is 7500' so you can see ocean and islands the whole way. We had al slight delay getting into Honolulu so we had a great overview of Pearl Harbor. Check-in is a breeze - no TSA ! The pilots were friendly and skilled.

This is a single engine plane with pilot and co pilot. Holds 9 passengers with luggage below the fuselage. you can see through the front as well as out the sides. It provides a real involvement in the flight. Great views of the cliffs on north side of Molokai as approach, since not very nigh up. Molokai airport is pretty...

We flew from Oahu to Molokai on 1 May with return flight on 30 June. Small plane with about 10 passengers with approx 20 min flight between islands so scenery keeps you busy. Staff are pleasant and helpful when booking in baggage and pilots welcome you on board. Will continue to fly with them and feel safe!! Ensure you book...

This is a small (12) passenger airline, that does Island hopping. I choose them to avoid the main airport. I was very happy with them. I was particularly pleased on my return flight to have 2 women in the cockpit. I will use them next time I Island hop for sure.

I purchased a round trip ticket from Maui to Honolulu. Departing Honolulu @ 5pm. I was able to change my ticket to depart @ 12:40. Had to pay an extra $50 even though it was just a few hours earlier. So I get to the airport 15 minutes early. Because of car wreck on highway. Plane departed 15 Minutes Early...

took a day trip to Honolulu and this was so easy!! The airline has its own terminal in Honolulu and you can be picked up directly from there and dropped off directly there with minimal wait time. No TSA check. Easy peasy! Enjoyed this very much and the flight from Maui to Honolulu was like a sign seeing trip we...

While planning out my trip to the Hawaiian islands I came across reviews of Mokulele. Based on them I decided to try them out during my time in the islands. I started my trip in Honolulu in mid-December of 2018. I asked a local shuttle service(Waikiki Shuttle) to pick me up from my accommodation and take me to Mokulele. After...

Had a 7:15 AM flight and canceled the flight evening before without giving a reason. Would not pay anything extra (hotel accommodation or the difference in price for booking on Hawaian). Terrible experience - no concept of customer service. Would not recommend at all..., play it safe, go w/ Hawaian which is lot more reliable.
