Must admit,looking at Amble it does tick most of the boxes with nice beaches, holiday cottages or a caravan park to choose from and a decent base to visit other places should it be non-beach weather I shall do a bit more "googling" ... more

Amble is an ideal place to base yourselves for exploring the northumberland coastline and the country side. We live next to two holiday cottages in Amble and have never heard the holiday makers complaining about the area ( just the weather when it rains ). ... more
