Honeymoon: Viceroy or CJ?

... We are both beach people, but also like to spend an afternoon by the pool to change things up. We cannot afford the pool villas at CJ, and wonder if we would be able to spend an afternoon swimming at the Viceroy, even if we are not staying there?

... areas of the resort that are better/more private for couples? The villas look nice, but are probably out of our price range.
Last question: Oviously food/drinks will be expensive on the resort, is there a place within walking distance to get beer/liquor and snacks?

... have snacks, booze, etc. I highly recommend you rent a car, taxis are expensive, and the food at Viceroy is not that great. You must venture out and try some of the wonderful restaurants on the island.

... beach access was correct. If I recall, there is no direct beach access except from the very expensive villas on Barnes Bay. Otherwise, one must walk the grounds to get to and from the beach. And, depending on the location of your unit, the walk can be a long one ... more
