Do a search on 'Holiday Cottages' or 'Holiday Rentals' for Bath. There are quite a few around - in fantastic central locations like Margarets Buildings - or slightly out of town like Combe Down. I recently stayed in Bath in Green Park Apartment and it was fantastic, central location, walking distance to all main attractions and a whole flat in a gorgeous location for cheaper than the Travelodge, see my review for more details ... more
