Any recommendations for self catering apartments in Makry Gialos in August for a family with kids aged 8 and 11- with a pool and within easy walk of beach, tavernas etc? I have looked at Grapevine Villas - which look fab - are they in easy walking reach of amenities? Thank you! ... more

Grapevine villas doesn't mention how close they are to shops etc.. but since they are close to the beach then most likely they are close to shops. Another option you could look at is Cybelle Apartments (www.cybelecrete.com) they dont have a pool but there only 70m from ... more
