... CMV more upscale and a condo-hotel and about 2 miles from the village. Hamanasi has nice beachfront rooms and tree houses in the bush on the back of the property. You would be pleased with either, but I would opt for Placencia over Hopkins for the variety and options ... more

... enjoyed staying there. Both places would have pretty much the same great excursions. I find the beach in Placencia nicer, and you can walk to Placencia on the beach from CMV in 30 minutes or so. CMV is super nice condos, but they are well done. Have a fun vacation ... more
