If they had already cleaned the villa your cancellation must have been very close to your expected arrival date and Cumbrevillas would have had virtually no chance of re-letting the property.
100% is the norm to pay for cancellations less than 4-6 weeks before arrival ... more

Thanks Rachel - that usefull - think we are going to opt for villa on the Punta de la Mona which I think is between La Herradura and Almunecar - whole area looks lovely so dont think we can go wrong
