Hi - we are looking at villas in both of the above areas - both look lovely - but could someone let me know which if further away from Almunecar - every map I look at shows Cerro Gordo somewhere else! Also is it easy to get taxis between these places - we have a ... more

Thanks Rachel - that usefull - think we are going to opt for villa on the Punta de la Mona which I think is between La Herradura and Almunecar - whole area looks lovely so dont think we can go wrong

Hi there - I think you will find it quite a grind the walk from Fuentes to Almunecar and back again - try these web sites for accomodation in and around Almunecar - Prestigepropertyspain.com - Owners Direct and Choosespain.com - they have everything from Villas, Townhouses and Apartments.

If they had already cleaned the villa your cancellation must have been very close to your expected arrival date and Cumbrevillas would have had virtually no chance of re-letting the property.
100% is the norm to pay for cancellations less than 4-6 weeks before arrival ... more
